Facilities: The signature cloud-shaped pool isn't heated; the heated pool is tiny, like a hot spring. The 'cloud' area is barely ankle-deep, and the infinity pool is only 1.2 meters deep... not very exciting. The kids' water playground is pitifully small with only one slide. The most frustrating part was the soft play area (Naughty Castle). It looks big, but most of it is just decorative metal bars. My 7-year-old was in there for about fifteen minutes and then came out because there was nothing to play with. Also, staff didn't stop kids in swimsuits from entering, which meant water from the slide splashed everywhere, and kids coming down after nearly flipped and landed hard on the mats... very dangerous!
Cleanliness: The room was pretty clean, but the vanity mirror had a layer of dust, clearly not having been wiped for a long time.
Ambiance: The lobby is truly huge. Hard to comment on the rest; it's a matter of personal taste.
Service: The butler was okay! Otherwise, there wasn't much service. When I checked in, two staff members were at one computer. There was someone in front of me, so I waited. They saw me waiting, but neither offered to help me. I thought I'd wait, no rush. What really annoyed me was when someone else came up behind me and went to the next counter, and then one of the staff members immediately went to check them in. So, I was the only one who waited patiently for over ten minutes...
They gave me a canvas bag at check-in, which honestly left me speechless. This is supposed to be at least a four-star hotel, but the bag is worse than what Atour gives. And the welcome fruit – if it's going to look that bad, they shouldn't bother at all!
