We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Frontenac. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be offered an early check-in with a discounted upgrade to a king bed room with a view, which was a great start to our visit.
The room itself was lovely. It is on the smaller side, but that is completely expected in a historical hotel and only adds to its charm. Everything was well maintained and comfortable.
The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The location is unbeatable and you truly cannot find a better spot to explore Old Québec and the surrounding area.
It is on the expensive side, but if you are visiting for a short stay and want to make the most of your experience, it is absolutely worth it. I would highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Québec City.

The hotel is still as good as before. The facilities are very complete and it is a relatively new hotel in the area. The breakfast is also very good. I will choose to stay here next time.

My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms.
We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow.
For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests.
Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name.
Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings.
I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.

The hotel front desk service is enthusiastic, especially when we go out, they chased us to the door and gave us a local tourist map. Bottled water and coffee are unlimited in the room. There is a subway bus downstairs of the hotel, which can reach any attraction you want to go to in Montreal. The location is very convenient.
We enjoyed everything about our stay, king room with incredible view and royal toilet, the aroma restaurant a real delight, clean casino and beautiful atmosphere

I took my daughter to Sherbrook to participate in the figure skating competition. Many athletes chose this hotel. The breakfast was good, the public areas and rooms were clean and tidy, and the swimming pool and other facilities were in place. I will stay here again next time.
I loved the cleanliness and location of the hotel. The kids also loved the swimming pool and spa. The staff was friendly and I was very satisfied with the free fresh apples provided in the morning and the free snacks provided at the bar. What needs to be improved is that the TV is so old that you can't connect to Netflix, YouTube, or your phone at all, and the bed mattress is so worn out that two people are crowded in the middle in the morning.^^

Our stay started off on the wrong foot due to a few issues with our initial room. However, I was very impressed with how management handled the situation. They were quick to respond and offered us an upgraded room for our second night, which completely turned our experience around.
The hotel is in a fantastic location—walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Thanks to the excellent service recovery, we left with a positive impression and would consider staying here again.

RRICK_ZachThe windows in the room are made up of small pieces, the design is a bit strange, there is no view at all, and there is insufficient daylight. The water pipe switch of the toilet wash basin is very inconvenient, and water will flow from the cracks to the ground after washing hands. The electric induction toilet toilet seat is a bit annoying. Shower room is worthy of praise, the shower is very comfortable and the bed is very comfortable. The location was incredible, just a few steps away from the best stores and restaurants. The valet parking system was also well organized and the employees provided superior customer service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I need to stay in Downtown Montreal.

GGuest UserThis is a perfect hotel. It has no other problems except being expensive. It is the best hotel in the whole trip. I stayed there for two nights. After returning from the second night, I received a notice saying that the water supply in the whole Montreal was cut off. But I still gave it a five-star rating.
I didn't have a shower that night, and there was no water until I checked out the next day. The hotel delayed my check-out until 1 o'clock and gave me four more bottles of mineral water.
There is a jewelry store downstairs from the hotel, and there are watches. I liked one but it was out of stock. It was also very comfortable to sit at the door and feed the pigeons
