Shower heads could use a good cleaning over all room was very clean. The staff needs alot of work on manners! At check in no one was at the desk and the phone to call them dose not work right, you need to tap it to release the button to get a dial tone (needs to be replaced). It took her 15 min to come from where ever she was and looked like we woke her up! We checked in at 10:30. We stayed two nights, and needed another night and let the night audit person know so they dint wake us in the morning and he kept telling me he couldn't do it, computers were down. Had to tell him yes I know your running audit, just leave a note so we don't get woke up and i will come down in morning to rent another night! Next morning same one that checked us in, standing at desk texting on her phone and then tried to make a call, while i'm standing and waiting! and then look at me disgusted like i was interrupting her and her friend that was standing there! told her I need room another night because my daughter just had the first New Years baby, No Congratulations or good morning or hope your enjoying your stay. Next morning we were up at the end of breakfast time and they had not started cleaning dinning area yet so we grabbed some hot food that was left with our coffee, and desk person right away snorts breakfast is done! yes I know this and also know that stuff gets thrown away that is not used and I walked away. I worked In a Motel for 7 years, I loved my job and the people that stayed, And we were at the desk as soon as you walked in the door, even if we were working on laundry from that day. And if anyone came down last min for food we were glad to help them and also get them somethings if it ran out, I have worked ever shift and housekeeping in my time. We were there to help people and make their stay pleasant and a good one, that's how you get people to come back!

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison West, WI

Hotel Name: Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison West, WI Location: 25 minutes to Downtown, within walking distance of restaurants and Costco. Breakfast: A basic breakfast buffet is served each morning, with a limited selection of items. Rooms: The rooms are clean and simple, with basic furnishings. The mattresses and pillows are a bit uncomfortable, so you may want to bring your own if you are a light sleeper. Overall: The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison West, WI is a good budget option for travelers looking for a clean and convenient place to stay, just 25 minutes drive to Downtown Madison. The location is excellent, the breakfast is okay, and the rooms are clean. However, the mattresses and pillows are a bit uncomfortable, so you may want to bring your own pillow if you are a light sleeper. Here are some additional details that I would want to share with potential guests: The hotel is located right off a major highway with easy access to Downtown area, airport and interstate to other major cities. The rooms are big, but they are functional and have everything you need for a short or long stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a fitness center and a indoor pool. Overall, I would recommend The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison West, WI to budget-minded travelers who are looking for a clean and convenient place to stay. Just be aware of the uncomfortable mattresses and pillows before you book your stay. I hope this helps!
Days Inn by Wyndham Sturtevant / Racine / Mount Pleasant

The location was conveniently in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Cleanliness of the hotel was just okay because it was run down and needed repairs. The toilet paper holder featured in the picture below was barely stuck in the wall and every time you wanted toilet tissue it was just asking to fall out onto the floor. The mirror in the main room was discolored from constant cleaning and the carpet had several stains that I just don’t want to know where they came from. On the other hand, the hallway smelled of smoke, but our room had no odor. I called before booking to ask if they had a hot tub and The gentleman who picked up said they had a hot tub and it was working; however, they did not have a hot tub just a pool, but at least it was heated. Breakfast left a lot to be desired; there were limited options, the cinnamon rolls were dry, eggs and sausage were over cooked or dried out, and the batter to make the waffles just didn’t taste right. The only good thing at breakfast was the coffee and orange juice, so, unfortunately we could not enjoy the complementary breakfast and had to eat out. We stayed for two days and at 11 AM on the first day our key card stopped working. It appeared as if it happened to everyone staying more than one day, because there were several of us waiting at the counter. When we went down to get the card serviced they were nice and accommodating, but it was still an inconvenience none the less, because we paid for two nights.

Our stay was short because we were just in town for a wedding, but you get what you pay for. Especially for only 62$ a night. It was decent cleanliness, i mainly marked it down because we found and killed 3 bugs, which bugs are like my worst enemy. We checked for bed bugs, there weren’t any. we also marked it down because of the little smell that wasn’t quite right and on one of the bed sheets there was a brown stain. a tip for the staff if they are reading this, the plug in wall scent thing needs to go upright, you put it upside down and it leaked all over the nightstand! Also to maybe even the owner, bug traps are so cheap, just some sticky ones behind the fridge and dressers would do you wonders. It would prevent from your customers having to see the bugs as well as having to kill them. The amenities are marked low because the pool was closed, and the restaurant that’s attached seems to not be in business. there was no signs that we could see saying that the business was closed but it looked that way. The location is good, 10 minutes away from downtown! it’s a little bit of a rural area but it worked well for us as the wedding venue was only 10 minutes away. So any future customers, if you are expecting a holiday inn or better, you aren’t gonna get it! This feels more like a mix between motel 6 and a super 8. Lower your expectations if you come here. it’s a doable place for a cheap stay.

Ryan who was the employee checked me in was amazing! Boy this employee does it all for his job! He is a keeper! He is friendly, works hard! Went into the bar/restaurant to pick up a menu to get some dinner. She was way to busy telling a couple of people a story of getting a speeding ticket rather than excusing herself to help a customer. Glad Grub hub was happy to get my business both nights for dinner. Room was clean, carpet is dated and stained, so kept my shoes on until bed. no coffee cups in the room to take coffee. No big deal just pain having to walk back and ask. Lighting is a little dark in the room, as in the bathroom. Ladies who wear make up Next morning go down for breakfast 7:30 AM. NO coffee was made, no preparation for breakfast at all. Same thing this morning except coffee that was made at some point the day before were in carafes sitting on the table. Employee just came turned on the lights and walked away. Again McDonald’s we’re happy to sell me fresh hot coffee. To bad I spent 108 plus change for this room that was to include breakfasts. Grounds were clean. Plenty of areas to walk a dog. They need a couple of garbage cans around, but again not a big deal to walk down to the garbage dumpsters. Over all not a bad place at all to stay. Will stay again, but will make sure my bring my kurig, coffee, and creamer for fresh coffee.

So everything was nice, near the airport, clean and peaceful, but amenities.….. Ahh.. Sorry to say, no slippers were provided, not even water, not even shampoo… not even a toothbrush or toothpaste. The location was perfect.

The cleaning staff was amazing, the pool was decently clean but there were signs of wear. The breakfast wasn't very good, on the lower end of free breakfasts for hotels. The Front desk staff was basically non-existent, left the previous check-in person's information on the screen when we started to check-in. The keycards to get in stopped working before check-out time. One of our rooms keycard stopped working the day before checkout and the other room the keycard failed for the rooms at least sometime before 8 AM on checkout day, we were lucky we left someone in the room when we were loading the car. Toilet flush would make noises in the shower and it just felt like the rooms were poorly constructed. It is a nice stay right now, and the price is good, the room cleaning staff did a wonderful amazing job, I cannot give them enough compliments, the beds were very comfy and everything worked well now. I just fear that as time goes on things will break and won't be fixed, (there was a very large chip in our tub) but while things are relatively new it should be a good place to stay for someone wanting to explore the Wisconsin Dells.

I’ve been in this hotel for 3 nights, and everything was going well. Then on Tuesday, November 15th, Cody was working at the front desk, and her single handily ruined my whole experience. We went to ask if the coffee was complimentary, and he just waved his hand without even looking at us. I went outside and came back in, and I greeted everyone standing in the lobby, and Cody didn’t even look up to acknowledge me. He made me feel like I don’t belong here, and that’s not the service I’ve been receiving for the last two days. Cody needs to realize that no matter your personal views on another race, you leave that at home when you come to work. I paid good money to stay here, and I feel that I should be welcomed. Thanks to Cody, I no longer feel welcomed. Because of Cody, I don’t think that I’d recommend this hotel to my family or my friends. Thanks to all the other staff for making me feel welcomed, but that one act ruined it all. Thanks Cody, please seek help, we are not bad people, and we deserve to be treated like those guys that you acknowledged while I was in the lobby.
Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Rhinelander
4.4/514 Reviews
My adult son and I had to travel up to Rhinelander on the weekend for a funeral. There was also a sports convention going on , so all the hotels were pretty pricey including Cobblestone. Once I got over the price shock, we enjoyed the hotel very much. It was new, so clean, and beds were very comfortable. We had a room that had 2 queen beds, plus another area with a sectional sofa and another tv. I think any group with small children would have loved that room and the tv channels catered to kids! We didn't understand how the tv remote worked, so when I called the front desk a very pleasant young woman came up and showed us how it worked. Although that was wonderful, I think printed instructions by the tv would have worked and saved them some time! The breakfast was good....powdered scrambled eggs, but lots of other voices to go with it. There was a family restaurant right next door, but was only open for breakfast and lunch. I would definitely stay there again!
