The hotel is located in the center of the old town of Kona, not far from Kona Airport and the seaside, and you can walk to the coast. There are supermarkets such as Wal-Mart, target, Ross nearby, which is very convenient to buy living materials. The room was spacious and the breakfast was richer than expected. There is a spa in the swimming pool, and you can't swim.
The hotel is located conveniently close to the airport. A bit tricky to find. We walked to the hotel from the airport. With our suitcases, a bit further than expected. Lots of noise from the traffic. Room was clean. Service was friendly. A bit disappointing when we picked up a rental car and retrieved our suitcases. Because we stayed at the parking lot 16 min. (1 minute longer than alotted we had to pay parking fees.

It was my first time at Doritomy, so I was a bit nervous, but the people in the room with me were kind and I had a great time. Thank you! Also, the cake? thing was delicious, and it was really helpful that there was a drink corner. The atmosphere was homey and nice. I think it suited me. I was able to make some great memories from my solo trip.

It is close to downtown Waikiki and you can get to the beach in about 7 minutes on foot.
It is a newly built hotel, so it is clean and has good facilities that make it look like a 2-star hotel.
The washing machine and detergent are all free, and the dishes are all provided, so I want to visit again. I thought it was better than an old 4-star hotel.
I would 10000% visit again.
The hotel is very close to the airport, so you can hear the frequent takeoff of planes. The room is average, but the hygiene is very good. Parking fee is $40 per night, and registered members are $20 per night. The hotel includes breakfast, and the variety is OK. It is also average. It is very suitable for transit at the airport. If you stay for a long time, it is better to choose a hotel by the sea. Finally, I would like to thank the sister with color-changing glasses at the front desk. Sorry, I don’t remember her name. The check-in explanation was very clear and the speed was also very fast.
A little run down, but still decent. Exceptional place, great sunrise view. Very convenient going anywhere, lots of choice of restaurants.

GGuest UserUhhhhh..... We stayed in this hotel because our flight got in late and we needed a place close to the airport to crash for one night. This hotel fits that purpose well. That said, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for any other situation other than the one I just described. They were pumping sewage right outside of our door the morning we woke up. Also, our room key didn't work the morning we were checking out. The only other positive of this hotel is that it is within walking distance of THE BEST little food place we came across on our whole trip: Joe's Grill Express. We cannot wait to come back so we can visit Joe's again.
JJoseph St. EsparzaStaff friendly and helpful. I had trouble booking online rate, one of the staff indicated that gave a discount for Ex-military/Military, assisted and booked the room for 3 more nites. Service was very good. Extra towels available and amenities provided as needed. Location was great, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and more.
GGuest UserI booked through a third-party and thought I was getting a really good deal then a check in they charge another $30 for the resort fee this is common scheme to add value to their income and I will never ever book a hotel that charge of the resort fee because what the hell is that for.? This trip was for medical diagnostic purposes and not a vacation to Waikiki would never vacation to Waikiki. So the aqua hotel it's a little deceptive so my advice to travelers is to make inquiries about resort fees before you book good luck. I booked a room on the city side with no view and by doing that the room was much quieter than room is it face face Ala Moana Boulevard
GGuest UserIt's very expensive during the Christmas period but it's relatively cheap compared to others. The service is average. Hawaiians don't seem to be very enthusiastic. No one cleans the room. You can go to the front desk to ask for towels but you can pick them up yourself. Parking around is difficult. Walking You can find paid parking spaces on the street in the latter larger street. Since I rented a car, I don’t know how the public transportation is here. There is no meal service here, there is a small swimming pool and an outdoor coin-operated laundry.

GGuest UserGood hotel for a short stay in waikiki. The location is great right in the center but the fact that it is just above a nightclub is a downside as you can quite hear the music until 2 or 4 in the morning. The staff is helpful and the hotel provides beach gear for free which is great
GGuest UserThe landlord is very welcoming, the environment is too primitive, and the air is good. Family come to play and experience the life of American family villas. The environment is the best place to live in the off-season of Hawaii.
