Clean and hygienic, with excellent service. It's right next to Odori Park and very close to Tanukikoji. The beds are surprisingly large for Japan; two single beds pushed together can easily accommodate a family of three. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit of a walk from the subway station. However, there's an airport shuttle bus stop just two blocks from the hotel, about a 5-minute walk, and it's cheaper than taking the subway.

The biggest plus for this hotel is definitely its location in Susukino. It's only about a 3-minute walk to the Nikka Whisky billboard, Cocono Susukino, and the subway station. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options right downstairs, which is super convenient. The hotel lobby is quite stylish with a projector screen, perfect for enjoying a meal or just relaxing. The overall decor has an industrial and camping-inspired vibe. The room itself is a bit on the small side, but the bed is incredibly soft. One minor issue is that the room door uses a thin curtain, which doesn't do much for soundproofing, so earplugs are recommended if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom facilities are great, complete with a hairdryer and basic toiletries. I just wish they had slightly larger room options. The hotel is in the tallest building right next to the Ferris wheel in the photo.

Hotel looks brand new, dimmer for bed room lights and bathroom lights were nice touches. It's a walk from sapporo station but all underground so in winter or rain it is not a big deal. Exit at a lift on the left after miredo. You should pass a montbell store on the right. Some renovation going on so Exit 7 was not available. If you were taking the Chuo bus to Niseko the stop at Sapporo Grand Hotel is nearest and just a stone throw away. Rooms are Japanese petite. Also a short 15 mins walk to Odori station.

Traveling with friends, we booked rooms on the same floor. On the first floor, right by the elevator, there's a convenient selection of toiletries available, including toothbrushes, bath products, and men's razors. The hotel is super easy to get to, just across the street from JR Station. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs and two Lawson convenience stores across the street, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. You can even get to Daimaru Department Store via the JR Station, and from the other side of Daimaru, there's an underground passage that leads to places like Tanukikoji. It's a bit of a walk to either end, but the best part is how close it is to the JR Station when you're heading home! Despite being so close to the JR Station, the soundproofing in the rooms is actually really good.

Location is good. It is close to the central area. Room is spacious enough for 2. Although you cannot open 2 luggages at the same time. There’s a mini fridge and a kettle. Free coffee and tea. Also you can borrow hair curler and iron on the front desk. They also offer other things you can borrow like nail cutter and others. They change towels everyday. But room cleaning is not allowed until your 4th night. The view is nice too. Here’s a photo taken from our room.

This is a fantastic hotel! The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and very functional. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes and cookware, making it perfect for cooking and doing laundry, ideal for longer stays. The location is also quite convenient. For transportation, it's a 2-minute walk to the tram station, a 10-minute walk to Susukino Station, and within a 15-minute walk to Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Nearby, there's a 24-hour supermarket and a 24-hour drugstore/daily necessities store. For convenience stores, there are several Lawsons, and one 7-Eleven and one FamilyMart. The lobby functions as a cafe during the day, and after business hours, guests can use the lobby space for dining or other activities.

Lovely boutique hotel located in the heart of Sapporo! Perfect location that is just a few minutes away and walking distance to Odori Park, the TV tower, Niju Market, Ramen Alley and the Nikka sign. There's also a SeicoMart convenience store next door btw. We visited during the Sapporo Snow Festival. The Knot Sapporo has direct access to the underground mall. From the underground mall, you can walk protected from the elements all the way to Odori Park. There are escalators, stairs and elevators that you can then take to go to the ground level. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only caveat is the in-house Les Bois Cafe hours. It's kind of weird how the cafe hours are. One time, after having lunch nearby, my wife and I decided to grab coffee at the in-house Les Bois Cafe when we got back at the hotel. It was around 2:45pm on a Saturday. We were told that the establishment was closing in about 15 minutes and we could not be served. Odd. We came back the next Sunday morning and were able to get coffee then.

Originally booked for two nights, but I had such a good experience that I extended my stay for another two. It's located in a bustling area with plenty of food and shopping options, yet the hotel itself is incredibly quiet. The facilities are new and the rooms are clean. I visit Sapporo once or twice a year, but I hadn't known about this hotel before. From now on, this will be my go-to place to stay. Please keep up the great work! Bravo! 👏

This was my first stay at Via Inn Prime Sapporo, and the location is definitely the highlight. Being right on Tanukikoji is so convenient, there are tons of restaurants and shops just steps away. The room was a bit small, but that’s typical for Japan. For a solo traveler, it was perfectly fine and, most importantly, very clean. The check-in lobby on the 2nd floor has a really comfortable atmosphere. I liked that you can pick up your own amenities like toothbrushes and coffee there. The staff were also very polite and spoke good English. I I had breakfast buffet at the 1st-floor restaurant for 1,980 yen. The food was fresh, tasty, and had a good variety. The only thing is that the coffee was a bit light for my taste, but everything else was great. The restaurant was tidy, and the staff were very polite and quick to refill the food. Overall, a very satisfying 5-day stay. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again when I’m back in Hokkaido!

GGuest UserKudos to this hotel. My stay there was amazing. The hotel is close to streetcar station, but during winter it still pretty challenging to pull your luggage. That is expected situation for any hotel in Hokkaido 😆. The receptionist was really helpful. She help to call taxi for me when I don’t know how to do so.

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained. It’s a bit far from the city and public transportation, so having a car makes things much easier. The free coffee and tea in the lobby are a nice touch, and overall it’s a comfortable place to stay if you don’t mind driving.

AAnonymous UserThe room isn't huge, but there's just enough space by the bathroom door for two suitcases. To fully open them and pack, you'll need to use the bed, which is typical for Japanese hotels, so it's acceptable. It's a bit of a walk to Susukino subway station, a few blocks away, and it's even harder in the snow. I had to go to the Susukino airport bus stop, which is only a few hundred meters away, but with snow and luggage, it would have taken about 40 minutes to walk. I ended up taking a taxi from the hotel entrance, costing less than 100 RMB, and got there in just a few minutes, which was very convenient. Overall, the price was reasonable, around 400+ RMB per night.

WwoodyzhouThe hotel's location isn't super convenient, but getting a taxi from Furano Station is easy. The room wasn't huge, and we paid a bit extra for our child, which was a reasonable charge. It was easy to get to the ski resort with their shuttle. Our child absolutely loved the hotel dinners; staying two nights meant we got to try both the cheese fondue and shabu-shabu!

GGuest UserPerfect location for skiers - a two minute walk across the carpark and you're at the gondola/chairlift base station. The hotel also has a bus stop outside which is helpful to get to the JR station or into town, although buses are pretty infrequent. There are some dining options nearby, and a convenience store about 10-15 min walk away. The hotel sells discounted lift tickets (which you need to exchange at the ticket booth for a real ticket). The hotel has an eclectic older style charm. The ”owl” branding throughout was cute, and there's a nice lounge where non-skiers can relax with lots of reading material (most in Japanese). Free snacks and drinks each afternoon in the lobby are a nice touch. The onsite indoor and outdoor onsens are relaxing. There's a laundry with coin operated washer dryers, which is handy. Breakfasts were decent, although some dishes were a bit sweet for our taste, and there was very little variation from day to day, which is an issue for a ski resort where guests typically stay for multiple days. Staff allocate you to a table (different each day), a system which works pretty well and avoids having to hunt for a table at busy times. Some procedures seem a bit overcomplicated - checkin involved our name being taken, then being called 10 min later and guided through a self-checkin touchscreen system which wasn't super reliable at reading passports. Also you need to specify your breakfast time each day and then come back and get a ticket later, which seems overcomplicated - better to just let you specify a default time on checkin with the option to vary manually if desired. However staff throughout the hotel are polite and helpful. The room we had was spacious with a view over the ski field. The bathroom was a modular unit - clean but a bit dated and with an awkward step up to get in. Beds were made up in a rather strange way - rather than a having a fitted bottom sheet, there was a thin mat laid on top of the mattress. If you move around at all while sleeping this mat ends up a lumpy mess and you often find yourself sleeping partially on the bare mattress.

GGuest UserA very comfortable stay. I was in a Single Rm on d 13th flr. Super quiet at the end of the hallway. Window facing another building wall, no view. Comfortable bed and PJ set. No daily housekeeping provided but they'd leave a bag of towel, new PJ set and stuffs hanging on your door in the morning. Early check-in would cost 1000¥ per hour till the official 3【pm check-in time. I opt to leave my luggage in their storage rm, after I checked in around 4:30p, my bags already in my rm. Professional and polite staffs in general. I took the airport bus, but on my day of arrival, bus companies not dropping off passengers infront of the hotel due to severe snowstorm 2 days prior. And they also not picking up infront of d hotel on the wkend and final day of d Sapporo Winter Festival. Nearest airport bus stop would be Odori Park or Grand Sapporo Hotel. It's about less than 10mins walk. If it's during winter with snow on d ground, the Grand Sapporo Hotel bus stop would actually be a better route. I took the Odori Park route and was a bit tedious. Hotel is attentive to amenities details eg: charging cables of different ports ( type-C, Apple, usb-A etc...) available in the rm; utensils available at each floor's elevator lobby, free tea/coffee and extra toiletries at Lobby. Coin laundry(cash only) is 300¥ for each load of washing ( laundry detergent will automatically add in) and 100¥ for 30mins dry. Coin exchange avail at Check-in desk. Great location to Odori Park just across the street and plenty of choices for food + shopping. Rm facing the park during Winter Festival might be noisy due to stage performances and safety announcements or whatnot from the megaphone. Loves the onsen; Female and male has each of their own sections. Closed for cleaning 10a-2p daily, but daily operation is 2p-2a. Delicious mini fruit popsicles/ ice cream available to onsen users. No mini-fridge nor microwave in the rm. Breakfast buffet cost 2300¥/pax with mostly cold dishes, hot food only a handful of choices - wished could be more though; but they do serve wine (red+ white). Will stay again.

GGuest UserA bit on the outskirts of popular places but hotel is cery new and great for families, business people and those who can't get lodging during baseball season or ski season. Very pleased with the place. Wonderful new hotel, directly connected to the JR train and Chuo bus station. Spotted a couple of grannies using the long covered indoor sloped path for strolling exercise early every morning. Good idea. The hotel gym is spacious, well equipped, clean but underused. Transport by bus is easy around Kitahiroshima. No bath in our room but having a hot shower is really fantastic too. Flip over the pillow, there's a surprise on the other side, we liked its firm and textured filling (plastic pebbles or beans?) Room even has a sofabed! Tokou and Coop Elfin supermarkets, the friendly izakaya inside the bus ticketing station are very walkable. Google xlate is your friend here, like Cash & your physical Credit Card is in this area. Working people, friendly gruff guys. Service was prompt, kind and friendly by the assistants at the self check in area. One of the staff seemed surprised to hear that Singapore had no snow but was average 30-32°c and only had rain. Fair deal cos it was my 1st time being in snowy conditions too! Shuttle bus for ES CON Field Stadium every 15 mins from beside the Lawsons of the same building. Pastry shop, Soft Serve shop served quality food at reasonable prices, no wait. It's a wonderful place to stay with kids too. Many families there. A nice place to start exploring from, away from all the crowds and traffic. Good for a slow pace I guess. If you're a Fighters fan, this is the spot for you! Also, I guess in other seasons it is more forgiving too. Snow there is so much cleaner and finer than in Sapporo. Loved it. Next time I'll start my trip from Tomakomai Port and move upwards perhaps and stay a few nights here again.

GGuest UserWe took a tour bus directly to the New Akan Hotel. The hotel is very grand, and although it's a bit old, it's very well-maintained with a European-American style decor. I booked a Japanese-style lake view room in advance, and the size was definitely larger than what was stated in the description, at least 30+ square meters. The indoor and outdoor onsen, all-you-can-eat dining, and service were all excellent. The location is superb, close to both the onsen street and the ice mountain attractions. There are two minor drawbacks: the dinner includes a buffet yakiniku, and the smell can't be dissipated, so the entire public area smells like it... thankfully, the rooms are fine. Also, as many have mentioned, there are a lot of tour groups, all from Taiwan, so the hotel is crowded everywhere you go. You need to plan your meals and onsen visits to avoid peak times. Despite this, the hotel's order is still quite good. The internal shops are not tax-free. If I have the chance to come again, I would still choose this hotel, but I'd try to avoid the times when there are large tour groups, as the environment is quite important when you're on vacation!
