Really cool location to spend a night in a jail, but a bit away from city center. Beds where comfy but lacks curtains for more privacy. Bathrooms a quite old.

It was Easter 🐣 week so the shop was closed, so I called and they opened the door for me. The shop is a bar, so it may be crowded on normal days, but I think it's a good idea to check with the staff. Everyone is very friendly and kind, so you can enter the room with peace of mind. The private room is as shown in the photo, and it even has a refrigerator. It was kept clean and very comfortable. It was raining and the outside temperature dropped, but it didn't affect the room. The shared space is the kitchen, shower and toilet, but this shop has been there since the 1800s, so you can feel the history. However, the kitchen has been remade and is induction compatible. I have only ever used gas, but I was able to use it without any problems! I also decided on this hotel because I was planning to watch a rugby game. It is about a 15-minute walk away, and there are McDonalds and other places, and the street lights are basically on, so I think the security is not a problem. I highly recommend this hotel over other Doritomi, so please give it a try! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Pros: The location is really good, it's convenient to take public transportation or goto restaurants. Kitchenwares are sufficient for people who living there for usage. The hygiene of shared toilets are reach the standard. Cons: The facilities of the hostel are not in the good condition. my assigned room was near by the kitchen, even midnight still have some tenants walking around, the noise is really annoying.

The location is good with good water view. But the toilets n showers are a bit limited for the no of guests on each floor. The kitchen is sufficient but the stove is a bit old.

As advertised. Nice pub, basic accommodation. Good for single traveler for an overnight stay

The environment is good, everyone is quiet. One night, there was a little brother outside the sister, very exaggerated No for one night.

We stopped there for one night. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy. bedsheets, bathroom, towels were all clean. Handwash, soap, hairdryer were provided. Plenty of hot water to enjoy a nice shower. There was a small kitchenette with everything in it if you want to cook something. A bar fridge, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, kitchen utensils, and microwave were all avail. There was also a nice table with 2 chairs and 2 couch where you can sit comfortably and enjoy your meal. Parking facility on the spot. Free WiFi. Close to the town centre. We would highly recommend this place.

The room is large, a bit like a one-bedroom, one-living-room, one-bathroom house. Everything is convenient. You can park your car in front of your room. The location is great, very close to Roy's peak, only 7 minutes' drive away. It's not far from the town center. If you like to walk, you can get there in half an hour. The scenery along the Wanaka Lake is amazing!

Located just opposite the sea is great. Free laundry room is the motivating point for me to return. Room is clean and spacious.
