Self checkin was easy and simple. No fuss. We arrived a couple hours early. Phoned the Mob No @ unmanned reception desk. Mgr gave us access code to our unit. Lovely cleaning lady arrived to complete finishing touches cleaning our unit but not expecting we had arrived early. No problem at all. Finished off her task.
Our self contained unit no.2 was clean, warm & fresh.
Parking space for our vehicle was great.
Great value for money.
Will definitely recommend staying there.
Cheers
The motel is located a bit away from the main wharf and from all the main stores in town but still within walkable distance. The room was really clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. There's also an outdoor seating from our room which was nice for having breakfast.
Suitable for taking children. Our room sleeps 5 people, 3 single beds and 1 double bed. There is a kitchen in the room, the pots and pans are all complete, and there is a refrigerator for your own simple dishes. The hotel is very close to the city centre. Remember to bring toiletries, shower gel, shampoo.
Like a model set for crime watch. So smoke-infused we walked inside and felt like we’d replaced someone who’d just left after staying inside for 5 years chain smoking darts. Lacking basics like milk, clean dish cloths, dish rack, etc.
The bed linen and towels were clean.
Booked this last minute in our way from the airport to Arthur’s Pass. The room was great with all we needed in the kitchen as well. There is a small gas station not far away where you can buy some food to cook. Other than that there really isn’t much at the town. But we loved it. Also the owner was super sweet and welcoming. Great to be able to park right in front of your own room.
great location, in front of new region street, close to city center. facilities are good, there are several bathrooms and toilets, never waited for one. kitchen is big, didn't use them but I think it's enough for backpacker to cook and storage their foods in fridge. I living in room for single, got a locker wardrobe and a window inside. I think there should be a table inside but there isn't, not big deal. the window was tricky, I don't.know how.to open or close it, it's like a trapdoor, maybe during winter it would be cold.

Very Good
GGUIYINGThe hotel has a parking lot and no breakfast, but the location of the hotel is very good. It is a few minutes away from the large supermarket, Chinatown and food street. It is very convenient to eat. You can also come to the supermarket to buy food and cook for yourself. This hotel has Chinese service.

MM_PorschaWe stopped there for one night. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and helpful.
The bed was super comfy. bedsheets, bathroom, towels were all clean. Handwash, soap, hairdryer were provided. Plenty of hot water to enjoy a nice shower.
There was a small kitchenette with everything in it if you want to cook something. A bar fridge, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, kitchen utensils, and microwave were all avail. There was also a nice table with 2 chairs and 2 couch where you can sit comfortably and enjoy your meal.
Parking facility on the spot. Free WiFi. Close to the town centre. We would highly recommend this place.
AAtripcatcherIt is a very nice place if your intention is to experience a night in jail. The double bedroom is very small, but since it is a jail it is nothing that you would not expect.
A bit far from the city center
GGuest UserBooked this last minute in our way from the airport to Arthur’s Pass. The room was great with all we needed in the kitchen as well. Jjjx1102The room is large, a bit like a one-bedroom, one-living-room, one-bathroom house. Everything is convenient. You can park your car in front of your room. The location is great, very close to Roy's peak, only 7 minutes' drive away. It's not far from the town center. If you like to walk, you can get there in half an hour. The scenery along the Wanaka Lake is amazing!
Vvinbo98The location is good, near the train station, with an induction cooker, but the downside is that the shower is not separated into wet and dry areas, so taking a shower makes a mess. The reception was quite enthusiastic, and they also agreed to use their car to take us to the train station at 6:20 the next day. As a result, they didn't show up until 6:22, and I couldn't get in touch with them by phone, so I had to take a taxi and leave.
LLuyaozhilaomaThe room is very clean and tidy. It should be noted that the check-in office is at the intersection opposite the house. When checking in late, it will indicate which room the guest will stay in. The door is unlocked and you can go in directly. The room also has a small courtyard, which is suitable for drinking beer and chatting! There is also a fireplace in the house for drying towels.
The Motel is very close to the popular breakfast restaurant Fairlie Barkey. You can buy breakfast and set off the next day. Their pancakes are very solid and filled with fillings and meat.
What is a little unpleasant is that I paid the reservation fee for 2 adults and 1 child. When checking out, the landlord saw the three of us coming out and said that we only paid for one person, but it was considered for the sake of us taking care of the children. . We feel wronged. It was explained at the time that it might be a problem with the agent. My order was paid by 3 people normally. After we left, we asked the Ctrip housekeeper to communicate clearly with the landlord. The agent asked her to confirm that we had paid the three people. Therefore, families with children should pay attention, because a room for 2 people and a room for 3 people may have the same room type, but the price will definitely be different, because overseas, the cost of cleaning the bed and cleaning will be included. Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but the room was really nice anyway! Ctrip customer service is also reliable.
RRETA oyaIt was Easter 🐣 week so the shop was closed, so I called and they opened the door for me.
The shop is a bar, so it may be crowded on normal days, but I think it's a good idea to check with the staff. Everyone is very friendly and kind, so you can enter the room with peace of mind. The private room is as shown in the photo, and it even has a refrigerator. It was kept clean and very comfortable. It was raining and the outside temperature dropped, but it didn't affect the room. The shared space is the kitchen, shower and toilet, but this shop has been there since the 1800s, so you can feel the history. However, the kitchen has been remade and is induction compatible. I have only ever used gas, but I was able to use it without any problems!
I also decided on this hotel because I was planning to watch a rugby game. It is about a 15-minute walk away, and there are McDonalds and other places, and the street lights are basically on, so I think the security is not a problem.
I highly recommend this hotel over other Doritomi, so please give it a try!
Thank you for a wonderful time!
