This small hotel has a perfect location, in an old house facing the river Maas, in the most picturesque part of the historic center, near charming shops and restaurants. It’s clean. The rooms are modern, minimalist but well thought out. No breakfast, no coffee makings in the room, no drawers or shelves, certainly no safe, hair dryer only on request from the front desk- it’s not luxe, and a bit of a challenge for older travelers. I didn’t find the staff rude- egalitarian, perhaps- brusque when dealing with complaining, entitled guests but otherwise friendly and very helpful. They were young and cool enough that we actually took their restaurant suggestions.

Voor een t****aagse wielerwedstrijd hier met het team een overnachting geboekt. Vooraf eea afgesproken met de meedenkende manager/eigenaresse wat betreft de avond maaltijd. Bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen en zijn we in de watten gelegd met de tortilla wraps. Zeer uitgebreid gegeten met vele extra’s en toetje ijs/slagroom en verse vruchten. Cute little hotel in the heart of Maastricht. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and try everything to make the stay pleasant. It has a hostel vibe, but is perfectly adequate if you don't expect the utmost luxury. The rooms seem a bit ”self-made” but nevertheless it is quite nice here. The price is absolutely fair and the steep staircase keeps you fit and saves you the gym. 😁 The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and plain decorated. The bar downstairs is a great place to end the evening with some cocktails.🍸 There are a few parking spaces that come with the hotel, which makes the stay even more relaxing and easy. All in all, the hotel is highly recommended! 😊

The hotel is located in the old town directly on the Rur (Roer). In keeping with the historical structure, it has no elevator and steep stairs. The room was clean and had comfortable beds. The restaurant is very cozy and very well attended. Breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality. The house offers a good price-performance ratio. Parking is available nearby in public parking garages. Gladly again 😊
