I recently stayed at Hotel 98 in Kuching for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by how well it caters to business travelers. The location is central and convenient, with easy access to major offices, eateries, and even a nearby pharmacy and convenience stores — ideal when you’re on a tight schedule.
The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with reliable Wi-Fi and a comfortable desk setup — perfect for catching up on emails or preparing for meetings. Check-in and check-out were fast and efficient, which I appreciated after long working days.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions or logistics. Despite being a boutique hotel, it provides excellent value and everything a business traveler needs for a smooth and productive stay.
Highly recommended for solo business travelers or work trips to Kuching — practical, quiet, and professionally run.
Book the time to go to the sister's funeral, the room we can get is clean and the amenities provided are quite good. This hotel is located close to the road but not noisy. Very recommend because the service is the best. TQ

It’s all about this view. You can literally see the entire city. It’s amazing. 👌
The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. I would stay again. Thank you 🙏🏼
I’ve stayed here twice and super satisfied with the place, the cleanliness and everything. Recommended for families too. Would like to stay here again in the future
I had an overall pleasant experience during my stay at this hotel. The property was very clean, and the bed provided excellent comfort, ensuring a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the sense of safety within the hotel, which contributed greatly to a worry-free stay.
The location is another strong point, as it is situated in the city and conveniently close to restaurants, shopping malls, and popular attractions. This made getting around both easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the staff were consistently friendly and professional, which created a welcoming atmosphere.
One area that could be improved is the check-in procedure. At present, the process requires the identity card of the person who made the booking. This can be inconvenient in cases where a reservation is made on behalf of family or friends as a surprise. Allowing check-in using the booking number or the guest’s name would provide a smoother and more flexible arrival experience.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel, with the hope that such enhancements to the check-in process can be considered in the future.
The room and toilet is good, however the air conditioning is too old and it is slow to reduce the temperature inside the room. Nevertheless, the hotel reception is responsive by calling and offer to switch the room.
I love this small town. Tranquil, serene and peaceful. Compact town almost everything can be found in 1 place, administration, banks, food, night market, etc. But the streets are quite packed and busy no wonder bus terminal cannot be near this town.
But I love this place, kinda wanna go here again.
The hotel that I stay is old school hotel, but I loving it because it reminds me the old good day of the past
I love staying at this hotel due to its convenient location near supermarkets, malls, restaurants, etc. the room is comfortable besides its attentive staff.
Good place to stay. Easier to park our own car which is can view from room.
Price suitable with room condition☺️
Luckily i bring out my own fabric freshener so can spray for buang bau asap rokok from previous customer i guess🥺
But i still love to stay here for next time maybe

AAnonymous UserAlthough it's a 15-minute walk from Kuching Airport, you'd be walking along a main road, so taking a taxi is much safer. It's located in a small mall right next to the Kuching Bus Terminal. The mall also has a 7-Eleven and several eateries. Bottled water is cheaper if purchased at the hotel's front desk. If you're catching an early morning flight or bus, or arriving late at night and just need a place to sleep, this hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are very small but are adequately clean. However, there was no kettle or shampoo provided in the room. The staff are very friendly.
GGuest UserDuring my recent stay at Maxi Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of luxury and comfort it provided. From the moment I checked in, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making the process smooth and stress-free. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail, like the complimentary toiletries and well-stocked minibar.
The hotel's facilities are top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, which offered stunning views of the city. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, catering to a variety of tastes with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The on-site restaurant also provided an excellent dining experience, with a menu that featured both local and international cuisine.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided easy access to major attractions, shopping districts, and dining options. Despite being in a bustling area, the room was quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep.
Overall, Maxi Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.

SSophia Law MKStay in room 205. Room is clean, equipped with air cond & ceiling fan. However, during the booking, it stated that it should be standard double with window, and what i got is a windowless room. Staff are friendly, check in is smooth, location is great, the hotel overall just need some touch up and maintenance works.
AAZARYLJust minus (The Management should take actions)
1. The toilet bowl covered is shaking (need to replace or repair)
2. Shud provide slippers as whenever I take a shower the floor is wet.
3. Instead, cheap soap should be replaced with shower gel.
4. TV is not user friendly and does not have a standard channel to every room and it is possible to add more news channels.
Luckily this trip we mostly spent outside..
Overall, satisfy staying at this hotel moreover the staff (FO - Mimi n her colleagues), Maintenance & Housekeeping team are generally attentive n friendly plus the location. Fully recommended and for Muslim travellers the Kuching City Mosque is walkable (5 mins from the hotel)..
Lastly, I missed the Quran recites as before along the corridor. 😔
Also, this is my 1st time to write long reviews 😅
Thanks.

AAnonymous UserA Memorable Stay with Exceptional Service and Comfort
From the moment I arrived at Little HouseI knew I was in for a great experience. The staff greeted me warmly, and the check-in process was quick and seamless. My room was immaculate, with tasteful decor and an incredibly comfortable bed that ensured restful sleep every night.
The amenities truly set this hotel apart. The rooftop pool provided stunning views, and the spa was the perfect place to unwind. I also dined at the hotel restaurant, where both the food and service were outstanding—especially the breakfast buffet, which offered fresh and delicious options.
Location-wise, it’s ideally situated for sightseeing, shopping, and dining, with many attractions within easy walking distance. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the level of care the staff put into ensuring my stay was perfect.
Overall, Little House made my trip unforgettable. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious, and hassle-free stay. I can’t wait to return!

DDe XingThe hotel is located at a convenient location, at the center of Miri city. We got the street view room which comes with some problems. It can become noisy at night as the road in-front is very busy. On the first night I could not really can a good sleep due to the noise but subsequent nights I used ear plugs which solves all the problem.
The hotel provides free parking to it's guests, there are only about 10 open-air car lots in-front of the hotel if there are no available slots the staff allowed us to park beside the building. There is a cafe right beside the lobby of the hotel and many restaurants within walking distance around the hotel. It is not recommended to park outside the hotel building zone as you might get fined.
Wifi was bad at the level that I was staying at, my mobile data has better connection haha. The room was really spacious and the TV has hdmi plug so we just played our own media in it. Overall it was a good experience given the price per night.
