2-Star Hotels in Vientiane Province, Laos

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city's most popular area, facing beautiful scenery. Turn right when you leave, and there are plenty of dining options and tour services everywhere. The room amenities are clean, and the building itself is a bit old, but facilities like hot water, a fan, and air conditioning are all available. The terrace offers great views. Aside from the owner couple, the other staff members basically don't speak English, which is something that needs improvement. I checked in around 8 PM, and since the owner couple wasn't there, I couldn't check in immediately. I waited for over half an hour until they arrived. There should at least be someone at the hotel who can communicate in English; otherwise, it's impossible to resolve any issues.

The hotel's location is convenient, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. The facilities are complete, and the overall stay experience was very good. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

バンビエンは小さな街ですが、一番賑わっているエリア（ナイトマーケット辺り）までは歩いて10分ちょっとです。日中の移動は少し暑いかもしれません。アメニティは充実しています。石鹸、シャンプー（コンディショナーは無し）、歯ブラシがありました。ドライヤーもありました。廊下からは朝日と夕日がどちらも楽しめました。室内も清掃が行き届いていて清潔です。

Stayed here for a short trip. The air conditioning worked very well and the bed was huge and comfortable, which made resting easier. However, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling itchy, which was uncomfortable. The soap and shampoo holders in the bathroom also looked old and not very well maintained. Breakfast policy was disappointing — only one portion was included. I requested an extra portion but was told I had to pay more. Another thing to note: there is a dog at the property that may greet guests. Animal lovers may enjoy this, but personally I was scared and uncomfortable around it. Overall, decent basic stay with good air conditioning and a large bed, but there are several areas that could be improved.

Mad Monkey Vang Vieng has a fun and social atmosphere, and the staff are generally friendly and energetic. It’s a great place if you’re looking to meet new people and enjoy the party vibe. However, some areas could use improvement. The rooms and facilities can feel a bit worn, and cleanliness is inconsistent at times. Depending on when you stay, noise levels can be quite high especially from other visitors, even late at night, something to keep in mind if you’re hoping for rest. Overall, it’s a lively hostel with a strong social scene, but not the best choice if comfort and quiet are your main priorities.

It was a recommended spot for solo travelers, and I highly recommend it for anyone staying nearby! Thank you!

Leider war das Hotel eine Enttäuschung. Da es (wahrscheinlich, denn eine Erklärung bekam man nicht) überbucht war, wurde man zu einem anderen Hotel geschickt. Das dort zugeteilte Zimmer entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie. Es war dreckig mit kaputter Einrichtung, kein Warmwasser und kein Tageslicht. Nur auf eigene Anfrage konnte man nach der ersten Nacht wieder zurück wechseln. Das Zimmer was besser, die Einrichtung auch nicht mehr die Neuste und es gab überall Ameisen, selbst im Bett. Das Personal war bemüht, fehlende Englischkenntnisse behinderten stark die Kommunikation. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte hier als nicht, eine Empfehlung kann ich deshalb dieses Mal leider aussprechen.

ห้องพักใช้ได้ สะอาด การบริการพนักงานต้อนรับดีมาก ติดต่อได้ 24 ชั่วโมงเพื่อขอรับการบริการ แต่เสียอยู่ 2 อย่าง ที่นอนเป็นที่นอนชั้นเดียววางบนพื้น แต่มีสภาพเก่า ตรงกลางยุบมากตั้งแต่ยังไม่นอน ผ้าห่ม ผืนเล็กและสั้นเกินไป เป็นผ้าห่มขนาดใช้คนเดียวในขณะที่เป็นห้องพักคู่ น่าจะมีการพัฒนาปรับปรุง อาหารเช้าไม่หลากหลาย มีเพียงข้าวต้มหมู ผัดวุ้นเส้นใส่ไข่ และไข่ต้ม บริการพร้อมน้ำเปล่าขวดเล็ก และไม่มีอุปกรณ์อาบน้ำให้โชคดีที่เตรียมไปเอง โดยรวมถือว่าไม่ค่อยคุ้มกับราคา

Overall, it was a good stay! Location is perfect as it's the night market in front of the guest house. The air conditioning does not work well and still warm even at 16 degrees. The breakfast options were very basic (bread, an egg, coffee, some fruits, etc.) I stayed at another guest house in the area and the breakfast options (buffet) was amazing!
