The stay was comfortable an clean but the elevator boy I'll tell yah, will have you waiting like you in a slow fastfood line that's backed up an the breakfast just stay sleep don't even wake up I bet if the biscuits wasn't smothered in gravy they'd be harder than a used old dirty sponge but other than that the stay was comfortable.
Hands down one of the BEST budget hotels I have ever stayed at! Customer service is excellent and the rooms are always super clean and they look recently updated. Would definitely stay again!
Breakfast was to suppose to start at 6:30 and there was only eggs, cereals, and gravy. The pastries several packages were open in case, and an open carton of milk in the cooler. The security latch was missing off the door. The joining room door in our room wouldn’t lock.
Booked a room with what looked like it had a Walk in shower but it was a regular tub shower. Would have appreciated a nightstand with drawers.

GGuest UserFinding and getting into the motel is fairly easy as it is on Hwy 76. The main lobby is very clean and welcoming as are the staff. I did note that they had a No vacancy sign taped to the door, so that let me know they were a popular spot on the strip. We got there a little early, and there wasnt a guarantee that our room would be ready but the lady was very nice and was able to get us in without an issue. Process was quick and easy and we were assigned room 1121, ground floor, furthest away from the main road, on the backside of the building. We parked, used the key easily (just tap and go), and walked in. The smell made it obvious to us that there had been a major flood or leak because it reeked of attempts to cover the smell of mold and mildew. We could see water damage everywhere and even the sheets on the bed were damp due to excessive moisture in the air. We have worked restoration from flooding and could distinctly smell something reminiscent of an ozone machine. The air unit was black and broken in pieces, but it still worked, for which we were grateful. The carpets were dirty and in a serious need to be cleaned although by the door had the worst of it. The silicone in the bathroom is seriously moldy and, at best, needs to be replaced and at worst scrubbed with a mildew cleaner like Lysol mold and mildew. The in room fridge had serious condensation on the inside so we figured that it had been giving them issues. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed the patch job in the ceiling over by the door that it occurred to us that that is the bathroom of the floor above us and that there was a major leak that way. Overall, I have paid less for better rooms and if there had been an option, I would have asked for a different room. If not for the fact that we knew we would not be getting a refund, we probably would have left and went somewhere else. The staff were wonderful to interact with, but the room itself was not worth the visit. Its a flip coin or maybe a desperate act that will get us to book there again. Oh! Major gap in the door and the glass in the window to the room was cracked! Shower head was gross and growing stuff too.
RReedPAn absolutely great location that is right across the street from the new St. Louis city soccer stadium, it's two blocks walking distance from the city market Union station area. It's easily accessible just off of I64.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fairly well stocked. And the one downside would be the in room refrigerator. It was very tiny and had no freezer section, which depending on the visitor they may or may not need. I am coming from far enough away and with children that I needed to refreeze freezer packs for snacks.
The breakfast each morning was okay. It was scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs with cheese plus sausage. One morning it was a choice of turkey, sausage patties or pork sausage patties, while the next day was a choice of pork sausage links or chicken sausage links. Links. Plus they had the standard bread, English muffin, bagels, muffin, fruit. The downside would be the lack of waffle maker. I don't know why that makes a difference, because I don't really eat waffles. But my kid loves waffles and loves to make them. And instead of having a waffle maker, they had a hot plate filled with pre-made bagged frozen waffles that they had preheated for everybody. Oh yeah in my pics you'll see a pic of my kid's milk. IT wasn't expired, but the ad on it was and it gave me quite a scare when I saw it.
And depending on plans, and what I need to be close to, if need be I will definitely stay here again with my family. The area was safe, clean, and I forgot the funniest part... Directly across the street from the FBI. LOL 😂🚓🚔
GGuest UserLook, for the price it is probably better than most. The nonexistent staff was the biggest disappointment. Took me almost an hour to wake someone from their slumber (4:30-5:30 pm) to check me in. I had to be somewhere at 6:00 pm so this was very frustrating. Btw, ringing the bell does absolutely nothing.
Outside of that the room seemed clean and modernized but the heater did nothing so I froze through the night.
The breakfast, I'd say stick to the waffles. I'm glad they offered eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy but the eggs were watery and I didn't trust the gravy. Sausage was ok.
The gym is a joke. I spent most of my time trying to fix the cables on their Smith Machine that's shoehorned into the corner of a very small room. Then I did some free weights but I had to do all exercises while sitting down because I kept hitting the ceiling with shoulder presses and over the head tricep extensions. lol.
They're trying, kind of like the little engine that could. Like I said, for $65 it's probably your best option.
GGuest UserOn the plus side the room was very clean as was the building. The decorating is atypical, which I liked. In addition, the cost of the room was reasonable.
However the room was very small. It felt claustrophobic. We had a king size bed and it took up almost the entire room. I had to exercise in the bathroom as it
was the place with the most space! This is the first hotel that I have stayed that there are no closets. You could only hang up clothes on a rack that stuck out
in the room or on hooks that were a wall. I didn't check if there were drawers for clothes because everything that I had was hung up. However based on how small the room was and a sign stating that clothes could be stored under the bed, I am betting there was not.
Unfortunately due to how cramped the room was I will not be staying there again.
MMacDouggalCan’t say it’s run down per se, but dated. Great check-in guy, and a huge room, but that’s it. The place is dark and dank. I’m attaching photos which will be more descriptive.
The worst was noise in the room starting at about 1 AM lasting over two hours. The first hour and a half we experienced basically sonic booms in the room. The whole room shook, particularly the ceiling, making it impossible to sleep, in fact, waking us up. This noise repeated Every 15 to 60 seconds for the next hour and a half. Crazy loud BOOM. We were on the top floor so someone jumping above us was not an option. Maybe the noise was coming from a room next-door where someone was body slamming. The last 45 minutes we spent listening to a kid cry in the room next-door from about 2:45 to 3:30 AM.
MMCLUCKIEGreat central location, but very difficult to get to the motel from nearby roads. I went around the block quite a few times to find the entrance, each day! There is a deep pot hole spanning the entire width of the pavement to avoid every time.
Room was big and clean. Breakfast is typical mid-American junk fare— cold cereals, bagels, bisquits and gravy. Sometimes it’s cheaper to get book with breakfast and just skip it. There are restaurants nearby.
It’s a fine place, especially for the cost. Nothing embarrassing or foul here. Desk staff was friendly.
