2-Star Hotels in Tibet, China

I lived very happily, the room was very comfortable and hygienic, there was a humidifier and oxygen generator. The oxygen generator really saved my life in the first two days, and I obviously slept comfortably at night. Because it is a little distance from the road in the Barkhor Street area, it takes a short walk, but it is very close to the Jokhang Temple and the snack bar, suitable for friends who travel here for the first time. On the day of arrival, the boss enthusiastically came to the bus station to pick me up and sent a set of Tibetan clothes photo! The balcony can see the Potala Palace!

Let's talk about the accommodation first. Although there wasn't a private bathroom, I still found it quite comfortable. Figure 1 shows a rough overview of the camp. Our tent had six double beds, Figure 2 showed the communal dining table inside the tent, and Figure 3 showed the room (which only had a bed and two nightstands). The tent had a sink with a water heater next to it (Figure 6), as well as a basin and disposable basin cover (Figure 5), making washing quite convenient. The bathroom was portable and a little further from our tent, about a minute's walk. We couldn't find a shower, but at 5,000 meters above sea level, it's best not to shower. 😅 As for the value for money, we checked in around 3:00 PM and left at 12:00 the next day. We didn't have to worry about the bus's arrival time back in town. If the weather was good, we could easily watch the sunrise and sunset from Mount Everest. We didn't have to pay for two bus rides, which was equivalent to saving one. Minus the room rate, I think it was a good value.

I have been staying in a star hotel before, and I have slept peacefully. This time I entered Tibet and decided to try this rural homestay. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. When I entered the door and sat down, I could see the wine on the display cabinet in the hall. The body of the wine softened the strong sunlight in Tibet, and it was as transparent as amber. Back to my room, order a bottle of fruit wine, nest in the sofa to have a few drinks, then have a sleep, turn around to climb to bed, sleep lazily until dark, wake up is full of stars, put on pajamas to sit in their own small courtyard, because there is a pot of two-color jasmine in the courtyard, That feeling is ”night wind sends cold, with the fragrance of flowers.” Look up at the starry sky, the mood becomes more comfortable. I want to come, I can't buy this feeling in the hotel. Today, I simply continued the room, half-masked the courtyard door, and occasionally glanced at other guests living here... I just haven't checked out yet, the boss will have a five-star praise, and simply give it in advance.
