Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. I have stayed in other Big4 camps before that were considerably nicer. The electric bed heaters did not work and the unit smelled very strongly of cleaning product, so bad that we had to leave the windows open all night despite temperatures just above freezing. There are few options near Freycinet national park, but in retrospect I wish that we had paid more to stay at the Lodge within the National Park.
This place is stunning! We loved the location and chilled atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were so cosy we didn’t want to leave.

Definitely worth the price we paid! Hotel allowed self-checkin as our family arrived after-hours. They even provided parking coupons. Room was really spacious and clean. Toilet was well-equipped and really spacious as well. Would definitely stay here if our family visits Hobart again:)

Clean pod and was lucky to have considerate neighbours, making my stay better! Hotel was nice to arrange self check-in for arrivals outside of reception hours and clear instructions were sent ahead of time. Remember to bring your own slippers to go to the bathroom unless you’re okay barefooted!
I recently stayed at the Deloraine Hotel due to an incident in the Devonport CBD, which led me to find accommodation in the area. This hotel offered very affordable rates. I booked a room for one person on the same day, and although the facilities weren't the newest, they were well-maintained and clean. The shared bathroom was particularly tidy and spacious. The kitchen area was also quite nice, providing an opportunity to greet and chat with other guests. The only downside was some noise at night, possibly due to trains passing nearby. Overall, the quality and service were well worth the price.
Formby Hotel provides a decent stay with a convenient location. However, it would be nice if they offered a buffet-style breakfast. The rooms could also be a bit cleaner with a fresher scent. Additionally, there were no staff present during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient. If the price were a little lower, it would be perfect.
Formby Hotel

What a super little hostel! Excellent location just minutes from the waterfront. Lovely man in reception - they always give a tour of facilities. Hostel is set in an old Victorian house which is delightful. Large well- equipped kitchen, free food available from previous guests. A lovely garden although it had yappy dogs in it so I wasn’t a fan. Beautiful upstairs verandah with comfortable seating, and sofas in other spaces to no shortage of places to relax.
I was in a female four bed dorm which was a bit tight for space but I saw other rooms which seemed more spacious with wider beds. I loved the individual lights and fans for each bed. My bottom bunk had a curtain but I wouldn’t have like being in a top bunk as they didn’t, so you were exposed to the main light going o etc.
The only thing that spoiled my stay was the same thing that spoils every stay I’ve had when travelling - thoughtless guests who make noise early in the morning/late at night. The three girls sharing my room got up at various times from 5.30 onwards so needless to say my morning did not start well! Hostel management can’t do much about that though.
Immaculately clean bathrooms and a good vibe. I’d definitely stay here again, but in a private room!
Although no breakfast
But good location
And cost-effective
Ample parking
Safety
The store is also very clean
Warm attitude, provide local tourist information booklet
And dinner is good

The hotel environment is very clean and tidy. Although the restroom and bathroom are shared, the environment is very good. Opposite is the wow supermarket, very convenient. The restaurant on the first floor has cutlery, bread, and milk juice in the refrigerator. The hotel staff is also very friendly. In short, the experience is very good, suitable for young people to live. It is said that this hotel is 180 years old.

Ppatricia chengThe kitchen utensils are complete but the cleanliness is average, and the countertops feel greasy.
The bathroom is fully equipped with a heating lamp, but the water temperature of the shower head is alternately hot and cold, and the water flow is average.
The bedroom is old, the clothes drying rack is also stuffed into the closet, and the bed has an electric heating pad.
The advantage is that it is very close to the Bruny Island Cruise departure point, so you can easily meet there in the morning.
Close to Adventure Bay, the scenery is beautiful and the sound of waves is constant, making you feel cheerful.

승승우I check in late and check out early. So i don’t know how service is great.
You can check in after 5pm by call.
According to the information i’ve seen, if you check in after midnight, you will have to pay an additional fee.
高高The hotel is close to the seaside, it is a good 👍hotel, there is a kitchen inside, you can buy food and cook in it, there are supermarkets and petrol stations nearby. The hotel is clean and comfortable, there is sunrise in the morning, and you can see the rainbow 🌈. It is far from the city, about 20 minutes by car to Constitution Wharf
