Clean pod and was lucky to have considerate neighbours, making my stay better! Hotel was nice to arrange self check-in for arrivals outside of reception hours and clear instructions were sent ahead of time. Remember to bring your own slippers to go to the bathroom unless you’re okay barefooted!

If you just want to sleep, it's cheap and the location is good, so it's recommended for saving money. However, don't imagine it as a capsule hotel in Japan. Even though it's a capsule, it's just a bunk bed with plywood attached, so it makes a loud noise when opening and closing the board and when you get on the bed. In the women's section, all the beds and lockers are opened and closed with a card key, so if you get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and close the bed door with the card key still in the bed, you will be locked out. I don't recommend it for people who tend to be forgetful. The noren curtains in the women's section are too smelly. I don't think they've been washed even once. There is a human smell, but the whole hostel smells. The trash bins don't seem to be collected every day. There are no staff at the hostel, so I'm a little worried about security. Even though it's Tasmania, there are suspicious people in Hobart who are a little crazy and can be found everywhere... I'm also worried that anyone can enter the women's bathroom. Check-in and check-out are quick and easy. It's also nice that you can use the washing machine and dryer freely for free. Be aware that even though it's a hostel, there is no microwave or kitchen, and open flames are strictly prohibited.

Formby Hotel provides a decent stay with a convenient location. However, it would be nice if they offered a buffet-style breakfast. The rooms could also be a bit cleaner with a fresher scent. Additionally, there were no staff present during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient. If the price were a little lower, it would be perfect. The hotel environment is very clean and tidy. Although the restroom and bathroom are shared, the environment is very good. Opposite is the wow supermarket, very convenient. The restaurant on the first floor has cutlery, bread, and milk juice in the refrigerator. The hotel staff is also very friendly. In short, the experience is very good, suitable for young people to live. It is said that this hotel is 180 years old.

I recently stayed at the Deloraine Hotel due to an incident in the Devonport CBD, which led me to find accommodation in the area. This hotel offered very affordable rates. I booked a room for one person on the same day, and although the facilities weren't the newest, they were well-maintained and clean. The shared bathroom was particularly tidy and spacious. The kitchen area was also quite nice, providing an opportunity to greet and chat with other guests. The only downside was some noise at night, possibly due to trains passing nearby. Overall, the quality and service were well worth the price.

The hotel is about 15–20 minutes from Salamanca Market and the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre. The room is spacious, and everything is clean, neat, and pleasantly fragrant. Each room comes with a microwave, electric kettle, some dining wares, dishwashing liquid, and a sponge. The heater works well, though the room still felt a bit cold—possibly because it’s quite large, especially for a solo traveler like me. The male receptionist was very helpful with all my requests, from fixing my internet connection to allowing me to extend my checkout time from the standard 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
