Villa Mount Royal

The location of this hotel is a bit hard to find, but it was really unexpected after entering the hotel. The hotel staff is very good, there will be drinks and drinks, the dinner is really good, and then the breakfast will be prepared in advance in the morning. The only downside is that the room is small, but the scenery outside is very good.
Serenity Sigiri Resort
4.6/56 Reviews
One of the best hotels I lived in Sri Lanka, running by a local family. They are very nice and hospitable and even provided very delicious local breakfast with wild honey and welcome coconut water. The room was a quite big with high ceiling, clean and all the stuffs were available. The hotel is in the closest location to climb the rock mountain called Pidurangala to view panorama view of Sigiri and sunrise and sunset and very close to Sigiri Lion Rock as well. The hotel can provide car and jeep services. Jeep safari to see a herd and other wild animals were quite an experience to feel the wilderness and nature. This hotel is 100% recommended when you are in Sigiriya. If you need a car service for city to city travel, here is the service provider, called Danu and his contact number is (0774) 642 805. He is a nice and humble guy with certified local guide. We got his service from Sigiriya to Kandy to Yalla to Colombo, the trip went very smooth and we are happy that we covered all the attractions places with his assistance. Highly recommended!!
Sigiri Hibiscus Villa
4.6/515 Reviews
This is the best place in Sigiriya! :) we stayed here for two nights and it had been one if our favourite places in Sri Lanka. We loved EVERYTHING about this place. Everyone should come here! Mori our host is the kindest sweetest man. He never stops making sure you are happy. the food (made by his lovely wife) is INCREDIBLE!!! The most wonderful home cooked Sri Lanka food. absolutely delicious and giant portions…they just want to make you happy they’re such a nice family! The bed was very comfortable, cute place with a nice hot shower and the gardens around the place are beautiful. Mori is also an experienced senior guide of 30 years and knows everything about Sigiriya Rock and the area. He can give you a guided tour if you want (doesn’t pressure at all though he’s so nice). we climbed both Sigiriya and Pidurangala with him and it was really worth it! we got so much more out of it that way. The place is an amazing value - Just book it now! you won’t regret it :)
Villa Tea Fields
4.3/543 Reviews
This was a great place to stay in Nuwareliya. The Villa is beautifully kept with 3 cozy rooms and a great small garden for some early morning teas! The staff were quite helpful, and the villa is located in close proximity to the Nuwareliya town. It is one of the most peaceful villas to stay at with a good view of some tea fileds. It is definitely worth a visit for couples, a group of friends and/ or Family.
Unique Cottages

Nuwara Eliya City Center
Unique Cottages is very much in theme with the town of Nuwara Eliiya’s roots of being built and established by the British, in their traditional style. It is like an old English cottage with high beams, cottage gardens, bookshelves, wooden stairs etc. Dinner was selected from a set menu, The continental breakfast was excellent with fruit, coffee, toast and jams and a cooked component of sausage, beans and omelette. The room and bathroom were both clean and spacious, room had a nice little balcony overlooking the street. I liked it was close and walking distance to the main part of town, and lake Gregory allowing a walk to get to know the town a little. There was only me and one other party of four staying, so as solo traveler I would’ve liked something more lively but if you’re looking for a B&B type arrangement close to town, this quiet place has the right ambience/vibe. (Alcohol is not served and house rules do not permit consumption).
Adams Peak Inn
3.7/515 Reviews
Really enjoyed our stay with Adams peak inn. A great place with clean rooms and helpful staff. The rooms on top floor are the best but it could get bit noisy due to the road traffic right in front. The rooms underground’s are also spacious and definitely value for money. The food here is really good. Sri Lankan rice and curry is a must try. Dilpa and family owns this place and they were supper friendly and helpful. This surely will be our stay next time around
The Tea Garden
4.1/524 Reviews
The service at the hotel is very good. The hotel staff prepared gingerbread and tea for us when we arrived. The room is very large, with two king-sized double beds, which is enough for a family of four. The room has a balcony facing the tea garden. The view is very good, and we can sit there. It was very comfortable to drink tea and chat. The hotel provided breakfast, which was prepared for us early in the morning. We were given two boxes of tea before leaving. Recommended
Nelu Villa Sigiriya
4.2/524 Reviews
Nelu Villa is a stunning hotel nestled in the serene rice fields with a breathtaking view of Lion’s Rock. The property boasts a delightful swimming pool and a superb restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all while gazing at the majestic Lion’s Rock. The staff at Nelu Villa are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel offers excellent free Wi-Fi and wonderfully cool air-conditioned rooms. The rooms are adorned with crisp white linens and provide a comfortable, relaxing ambiance. Overall, the room was exceptional, and our experience at Nelu Villa was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend booking your stay here; we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our visit.
selene city hotel

Kandy Central
This hotel is newly opened and quite clean, but it is on the street, and it is the main street. It is too noisy. The sound of cars and motorcycles running non-stop, and the sound of horns, can be heard very clearly late at night. My heart is almost sick. I can't sleep all night. It's so painful! I originally booked two nights, but if I stay for another night, my heart will have problems. I went to negotiate the check-out at 6 o'clock the next morning, and found Ctrip again, and they agreed to check out! Because this homestay does not include breakfast, we booked breakfast when we checked in, and paid two breakfasts extra, two omelets, two plates of fruit, a few slices of bread and jam, no drinks, no coffee, 4200 rupees, I don't know why this price is so expensive! ? Is it because we canceled one day or the breakfast price is so unreasonable? In addition, the waiters are not bad, but the location and breakfast of this homestay are really not recommended! Facilities: General, the room is relatively small Hygiene: OK Environment: too noisy, facing the street, can't sleep Service: good, breakfast is not good
