The host of this hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very healthy and delicious. I love how they always served it with fruits such as papaya, pineapple, and banana. The location is near shops, restaurants, and the beach. They are all within a 10-minute walk. However, if you are into diving or island-related activities, it will take you around 20-30 minute drive to get to the Marina. Overall, it's a good place to stay for a few days without hurting your wallet.

This was the second time we have stayed at the Palms. Will definitely stay again in the future because it is so convenient to Port Denarau. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious with 2 bathrooms , full kitchen and lounge. We had ground floor which had an outdoor seating area Higher floors had balconies.
We walked there from the Port after our 6 days in the Yasawa Islands.
I stayed here for two nights in a dorm, lodge 1. I had a top bunk and there wasn’t a railing so I was pretty worried about falling out. Also there weren’t any plugs inside the room - only one outside in the washroom area. Apparently the other dorm lodges do have plugs and railings though.
Food is only at set times but was pretty reasonably priced! I had the split pea soup for dinner one night (5/5!) and a veggie curry the following (3/5) and a veggie burger for lunch (4.5/5). Complimentary breakfast was pretty basic but good enough! They had soy and almond milk available.
There is a cute ethical shop/cafe nearby which is so nice but other than that I don’t think there’s much else within walking distance in terms of shops.
The resort had daily activities to get involved with which is a bonus!! The pool was also very nice and the beach is great for snorkelling!
My favourite part of the beach house was the shower in the washroom area attached to the dorm/lodge. It was an outside area but secluded and the shower pressure was insane!! And nice warm water. However, the toilet itself smelt pretty bad and I didn’t dare go near it.

NADI tourism takes one step from the island to the outlying island to the sailing boat. It is a very unique sea experience. There are snorkeling, diving, fish hunting, fish catching, sunrise on the sea, sunset and sunset. There is the deep sea, there are fish swimming in the coral from the distance, there are sea cruises, there are harbor night habitats, There are stars in the sky, away from the world and into nature; the captain and sailor brother are very nice, like the family accompanied and led throughout the whole process, taking care of everyone; the child unlocks the sea in just two days, snorkels deep dives, sailing boats full of harvest; Brother wiped the boat spotlessly every day, and the boat was very calm at night. Thanks to the captain and brother, a new world opened in just two days, thank you!
The location is a bit challenging to find even taxi drivers doesnt know how to locate it. When I booked the place I was not able to check in early thought the room that I booked has really good amenities and peaceful too.
Where do you start. Greeted us with sincerity and had bn upgraded. The Bures were beautiful, everything you need. But could have used a bigger fridge .Gardens were immaculate. Staff were amazing, kind, genuinely friendly. Went out of their way to know our names. At dinner we were welcomed with their welcome song. We stayed twice. We had already booked our timeshare for our second week and were very sad to leave. All the staff came together to sing Fijis good bye song ‘Isa Lei’ which brought tears to our eyes. Only spent three nights at our timeshare and rang Crusoes to say we were coming back. They welcomed us back with open arms. Snorkeling was great. Activities were pre organized for the next day. We loved every moment and we will def be coming back next year. We made lifelong friends
A very VERY strange experience here I must say.. I arrived at the 28 bed dorm room (even though trip.com said it was 10 bed) and there was no sign of any other life in the dorm at all. Most of the beds looked like they had been made months ago and nobody had slept in them since because they were covered in a layer of dust and dirt.. I went back to reception to ask what was going on and they said I’m the only one booked in so I just accepted it as it was. However, later on when I was sitting the bar a member of staff approached me and told me I had been upgraded (because supposedly the dorms weren’t clean due to a big group having checked out yesterday) so I ended up spending two nights in a luxurious Bure, the first night shared with someone else who was booked in for the dorms. The Bure was beautiful and spotless and I am very grateful for the upgrade. The outside shower was also very nice!
The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from! Eggs, sausages, beans, bread, cakes, yogurts, fruit, multiple cereals, tea, coffee and juice, one morning there were pancakes.
The only downsides to this resort is they don’t have any activities or excursions of their own and they direct you to the hotel further along - I did snorkelling there which costs $75 - the whole thing felt rushed in my opinion and the trip wasn’t worth the money. We got barely any time in the water and there was no time to stop and observe anything, seemed like the guys on the boat just wanted to get it all over and done with as fast as possible.

GGuest UserNo elevator. Got only 1 towel. Walking distance to airport. OK for a one night stay prior to flight.
SsereleaThe room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a villa, so there were a lot of locks, which was confusing. The back door was out of place and couldn't be opened or closed.
The sea is shallow and very good for walking! The staff were also friendly. It was wonderful to have a welcome drink while watching the sunset.
It's a shame that the access is not good, but it's worth staying!
I told them that I couldn't eat breakfast the next day because of a remote island tour I had booked, so they gave me a lunch box. In the morning, when I went to the restaurant to get my lunch box, the chef didn't understand what I said, so he made it for me in a hurry. There was only enough for four people instead of five, but I was grateful that they made it early in the morning because I had asked for something.

GGuest UserWe went as a family of 4.
Just a beautiful nice resort hidden away from people and other things
If you want to go to a place where your not bothered than this is it.
Not many people yet know this resort therefore the stay was private and no waiting for pools etc
We had a bure next to the beach
Staff were over and beyond helpful
Even helped us with our chilly storage
NNadia777!The place is good if you need to get to the airport in the morning or plan to take boat trips from the port, as the beach in the area is not swimmable. Wi fi in the lobby / room is not good, wi fi in the restaurant: good :) the dorm room can be cleaner tbh, but it’s cheap so can’t complain
People are nice and friendly. There’s a bicycle rental nearby and o highly recommend renting e-bike and drive around.
CChiaraLocated within walking distance of the airport. Some noise from the street and from the pool, but it quiets down at night. Clean room, simple decor. A/C worked well. Amenities included electric kettle and fridge. Well located power sockets. Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure. Helpful staff, let me check in several hours early.

LLow Siong Lye 27052025I recently stayed at Gecko's Resort and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. I especially appreciated the little touches like free DVDs available to borrow – a nice bonus for quiet evenings in.
The location is great too – just a short distance from the beautiful Sigatoka Sand Dunes and the Pacific Ocean, so there’s no shortage of things to see and do nearby.
One downside, however, is the Wi-Fi. Access requires a voucher, and if you're streaming videos (like on YouTube), the data only lasts around two hours. This was a bit inconvenient, especially in an age where connectivity is expected to be seamless.
Overall, Gecko's Resort is a great option for a peaceful getaway with a few nice extras. Just be prepared to manage your internet usage or consider unplugging and enjoying the serene surroundings.

GGuest UserThe location was excellent, and the cleanliness was great however I did see the white sheets were not as clean at all. I advised the staff to clean my room when I came back to the room I could see that they only made the bed but the same dirty sheets were used they did not even change the sheets so that was very disappointing. What also was disappointing, I ordered a Veg Pasta on one of my nights for dinner and within 5 mins I called upon the staff to advise that the Veg Pasta was not great at all however no apology or acknowledgement was made. They didn't even offer to make another dish for me or compensate another dish for me instead they charged me the whole amount which I paid for. So that was disappointing. The rest of the stay was great no issues
