The noise was too loud and I couldn't sleep. The front desk service was very good. The facilities are all clean and brand new, but they are all under renovation. The round moon gate window, the quiet garden courtyard, the tea rooms, the shaded seating areas, and the traditional-style architecture all create a relaxing escape from the busy streets outside. This is the kind of place where you can wake up slowly, enjoy tea in the courtyard, listen to the quiet, and still be close to the cultural life of Enshi Tujia Girl’s Town. It is perfect for travelers who want more than just a room. It offers a sense of place. The design blends modern comfort with local character. The wooden furniture, tea sets, plants, stone details, and courtyard layout make the hotel feel connected to Enshi’s culture and landscape. It is especially beautiful during the day when sunlight moves through the garden and reflects across the clean, peaceful interior spaces. For anyone visiting Enshi, this hotel is a wonderful choice if you want to experience both convenience and calm. Quanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient. - Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.

Recently Open hotel. no issue checking in. staffs is very nice! room is clean. love the huge hallway and a 24 hours mini market inside the hotel Great location! right next to Crown Plaze and Wyndham Hotel at half the price. This hotel is brand new! lot of local food around the area. 400 meter to Wanda Mall which have ever national food chains. 5-10 mins walks to the tourist ferry which take you the famous the three gorges dam. the area feel very safe and clean.

I struck gold with this wabi-sabi style homestay on my trip to Yichang, and the stay far exceeded my expectations. The room features a warm and rustic wabi-sabi aesthetic, with great soft furnishings and thoughtful details that instantly slow you down and help you truly relax. The biggest surprise was the view from the rooftop terrace—standing here, you can overlook the magnificent Yangtze River, catch distant glimpses of the grand bridges spanning the river, and on a clear day, even see the direction of the Three Gorges Dam. With the river breeze blowing and the sunset spreading across the water, the ambiance is absolute perfection. The homestay is spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and fully equipped amenities. The host is warm and welcoming, prompt with answers, and recommended great local spots for dining and sightseeing. Spending the day exploring Three Gorges attractions, and coming back at night to head up to the rooftop to catch the river breeze and night views, washed away all the travel fatigue in an instant. The location is also very convenient for getting around, making trips to both the riverside and scenic spots hassle-free. I will definitely choose Shi Yunjian Homestay (Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area) again next time I visit Yichang, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Facilities: The room facilities are relatively new, except for the kettle. 😓😓😓 Hygiene: Found cockroaches in the room. 😨😨😨😨 Environment: Parking is convenient, but it was a bit hard to find the first time. Service: The service was attentive. 👍👍👍👍

The hotel room was quite nice, split into two levels with the bed upstairs. The toilet and shower were separate, which was very convenient as you could use both at the same time. However, the TV was a bit low, placed on the floor, but you could grab a pillow from the bed and lie on the sofa to watch it, which was just right. I wouldn't particularly recommend booking the room with a balcony. The balcony outside was a bit dirty, and there was construction noise downstairs during the day, so we never actually went out there or opened the doors and windows. Plus, these rooms are a bit more expensive. Overall, I was very satisfied 🎉. The room was clean, and the front desk staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is also fairly close to the evening ferry terminal. There's a show on the third floor of that ferry that's worth checking out, but remember to bring a jacket as it can get a bit chilly. If you're parents traveling with an adult child, you can say the child is underage when buying tickets – they won't check, but make sure the 'child' doesn't look too old 😋, as this will save you a few tens of yuan on the ticket. Wuhan is a lot of fun, I wish everyone a pleasant trip! 😉

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

This is my second stay at this hotel. The last one was quite good, so Starry Sky Garden Hotel was my top choice again. The service is consistently excellent. When checking in, the lady at the front desk even gave us complimentary iced bottled water and ice pops, which was really heartwarming. They also offer free laundry service, drying clothes and delivering them to the room – we barely had to lift a finger, just a quick WeChat message to the concierge. It's truly a blessing for lazy people like me. Highly recommend!

The newly built hotel has very tall rooms and complete facilities: the courtyard is spacious and the garden landscape is great. The boss is friendly and the food is delicious and affordable. It is very close to the Earth's Core Valley (2.5KM to the visitor center), and it is very convenient to drive there.
