In a suburb of Philadelphia, 30 minutes from the city center and 30 minutes by car to Penn State. Free parking. Staying in New York the night before, the room was huge in comparison. It's a very quiet hotel, and the front desk service is very friendly. Rooms that include breakfast include meal coupons in the morning, a special menu, a hot meal, and a drink.
The Hotel was lovely but there was some issues with beddings, cleanliness” but I had pictures so I was able to sent it to there higher up in which the issue was fixed immediately, the breakfast was really good but quite expensive so we chose to eat on our last day everyone in the hotel was pretty friendly and nice, my favorite part of the hotel were there cookies I think it did the trick with everything else they lacked and they weren’t stingy in handing out the cookies amazing” overall experience was a 3 star as expected what would make it for if they fixed things before check in like the beddings and vent system in the rooms” shower was good water pressure perfect
Our family booked a stay last April 2023, so it was only natural to book this venue for our April 2024 PA trip. We were disappointed in the condition of the room because both closet doors were broken perhaps by the previous occupant. The photos tell the story and the front desk. The other issue involved the loud noise in the hallway made by unsupervised children going to or coming from the pool area around 8:45 ish.
The folks at the resort were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a great place to stay; the rooms are clean as are the common areas and the room itself was spacious and (unlike most hotel rooms) will lit. The food options are plentiful so the only difficulty was deciding where to eat! The remnants of the steel mill make for an interesting setting and it was amazing to see the now abandoned rail lines heading into those old steelworks (see photo attached).
The location is clean and comfortable. The hotel facilities are very good. I am very satisfied with the stay. I will choose again next time.
Hygiene: clean
Environment: Greening is very good
Environment: birthdays are very comfortable and clean, greening is good
Service: The front desk is very good, I like it very much, come back next time.

The location is convenient, right in the city center, not far from the Art Museum and Independence Palace, and can be reached in half an hour. The surrounding area is relatively quiet, with no idle people. Parking is expensive, and you can save a little if you park on the ground nearby. The worst thing is the bedding, the cotton in the quilt has been lumped together, and the mattress has collapsed badly. The front desk service is also good, but there is no laundry room, so you can only take away dry cleaning.

A great location! The hotel itself is showing a little age. Our King room was huge but just in need of some updating. Staff was awesome, room was cleaned each day very nicely. Easy walk to many wonderful restaurants in Rittenhouse. A reasonable walk to Independence Hall and the historic areas of town.
A hotel that exceeded expectations. It is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The surrounding area seems safe and quiet. Parking is convenient, the room is clean and the air conditioning is designed, it will blow all over your head if it is a bit tasteless

GGuest UserExcellent stay at the Double Tree Hotel. Just stayed for one night and paid a little more to have a room on the 23rd floor. Had a beautiful view of City Hall. Parking was self park and $38 in the garage next door. However a nice perk is you get parking privileges until 11:59pm on the day of check out. So if you have a few more hours to explore Philly you can just leave your car in the garage. Room was very clean, bright and the staff were friendly. King size bed was comfortable. Overall very satisfied
WWiliam Paz blancoThe service is good, and the cleanliness is excellent, but the pool was closed for the weekend. The rooms do not have a minibar or smart TV.
SShuihuaFacilities: During the graduation season, the prices of various hotels in Philadelphia have increased a lot. We booked a twin room and a king-size bed room. The king-size bed room is relatively large and comfortable. There is a microwave.
Hygiene: OK
Environment: No supporting facilities. There is a gas station and convenience store not far away.
Service: Overall OK

湯湯米涼粉Door lock in the main entrance is broken. There is hair in the bathroom. No body wash, just soap. Anyway, the room is still confort to stay. With a gym room and free coffee all the time.
GGuest UserSofitel is an elegant brand and is often located at the heart of the city. The Philadelphia location is perfect for those who want to see the city and is luxurious enough to stay in for some rest and relaxation. There's a restaurant in the lobby. In walking distance are some of the best restaurants in the area as well as historical attractions. The room included a King bed, a roll-in shower, and many other amenities. Because I was here for a conference, transportation to and from the convention center was available. Next to the convention center is the Reading Terminal Market. However, if you like to walk, the sites are amazing and the Reading Market is only 1 mile away. Hidden costs were disclosed upon check out. You might want to ask about that from your travel agent or the hotel management.
KKate’s AdventuresOur experience at The Franklin on Rittenhouse was absolutely amazing.
We were greeted by John and another sweet woman at the front desk, and they were so kind and helpful.
We stayed in “The Monarch” room on the first floor. It is a very comfortable and romantic room. It was also extremely clean and updated! I loved the rainfall style shower as well.
While booking the room, I mentioned that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, and the hotel we so kind to write her a card and left chocolates on the bed.
It was such a thoughtful gesture.
I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. I highly recommend booking your stay here if you are looking for an amazing boutique hotel experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel was situated around the block from my daughter’s home which we were here to pack for a move, which made it perfect - however the mandatory two night minimum during April - not a holiday wknd- seemed crazy. The room was fine, the balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool would have been fabulous in better weather - however the noise level was horrible. The bar, I assume, was very loud til quite late and the other guests could be heard early the next morning. All in all, it served a purpose and I paid for two nights when only able to stay for one because of the proximity to my daughter but probably wouldn’t stay there again.
GGuest UserWas celebrating my brother's birthday. Fran in reservations took note of the special occasion, so a card and a banner were placed in room prior to us checking in. It's the little things that count and it put a smile on my bro's birthday. Well appointed room. Bed was very comfortable, shower pressure was nice. Front desk who checked us in was just going through the motions, doesn't know how the metro works and has a dirty jacket. F&B /IRD isn't fully restored but we're still in post COVID world so not unexpected.
This is a 3/3.5 star hotel, and assuming i am grading within that scale, i would give it a 4 overall.
