4-Star Hotels in Mimaropa, Philippines

It was absolutely worth booking this hotel again for my family. We stayed in Villa 102, which had a stunning ocean view that made the experience even more special. The resort also has its own waterpark, where my family ended up spending most of our time. It was a fun and relaxing getaway, perfect for both kids and adults. Highly recommend this resort for families!

This hotel is in an excellent location, right next to the airport, which makes it incredibly convenient for travelers. They offer a free shuttle to the airport, which was very helpful. The breakfast was also decent, with enough variety to start the day well. Although my check-in experience wasn’t perfect, the staff handled it as best they could. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived, and since the hotel was fully booked, I didn’t get the twin room I had reserved. However, they were quick to accommodate my family by adding an extra bed for the kids, which made the situation more manageable. Overall, the location, amenities, and helpful staff make this hotel a solid choice for airport travelers. With a little improvement in managing bookings, it would be even better.

However, there was no access to cold drinking water, only room temperature, and the two complimentary bottles provided were insufficient. While you can request more, the service can be slow at times, which is inconvenient when you need water quickly. A cold water dispenser or more readily available bottles would greatly improve the experience.

The only drawback is that when we came the 1st night they had to arrange for us to stay in another hotel bec they had a system glitched which messed up the bookings on that day. However they helped us with everything and it turned out our first stay at another hotel was fantastic. Very accomodating and helpful staff! Kudos still!

This has been the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. The hotel is brand new and all the facilities are so beautiful! Nearby there is a village with locals and there are a lot of nice shops and cafes with local cheap food. Very convenient! What strikes you there as well is how good the service is. Everyone is highly competent and sincerely happy. I want to say a BIG thank you to Niki at the reception and Amy in the restaurant. They are so professional and just excel at their jobs. Overall, we had amazing time there.

Booked a room and stated that we will arrive in roughly 20 minutes. Once we arrived the hotel then started to prepare a room for us which meant a little waiting of roughly 20 minutes. Room itself is nice ans comfy. The room also had little balcony. As poor design of the doors there was a whistling noise from the wind at all times when the left balcony door was completely shut. No hairdryer in the room. Pizza at dinner was one from the freezer and before i ordered it i double checked with the waiter if the pizza is made inhouse - which he stated. Rice dish was plenty and really good. Staff at the breakfast didn’t care at all about our orders. We had to order everything we ordered at least two or three times. Please have another look also trough some reviews which are already on Google. It seems that we - as caucasians - were not the preferred type of customer. Conclusion; it’s a nice place but we wouldn‘t come back as we absolutely didn’t feel any welcomed as per the uninterested staff.

The funny lion is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The service was great I couldn’t ask for anything more. They were very accommodating and helpful. The staff made us feel welcome every step of the way. The rooftop bar w jacuzzi was perfect to start or end your day w the sprawling view of the lake and the mountains. One of the best trips I’ve ever had. This hotel is not pretentious. The breakfast was great with good variety of foods.

We had a pleasant stay BUT the check in was not a good experience. We were thankful that we got to check in at an earlier time (around 1-1:30pm) but we were disappointed that upon arrival no one helped us with our luggage. We have 1 large size luggage and 1 small one. After checking in, we were told that we are going to be assisted by one of their staff to our room. We expected that our luggage will be brought to our room but no one did that. The staff who assisted us did not really assist as helping with our luggage, she was just accompanying us to our room, she could not assist us because this staff might not be able to carry our big luggage so we did not ask her to carry it for us. Its just hard to carry the luggage because the room is far from the lobby and the pathway going to the room is not flat or smooth that is suitable for the luggage to be pushed. We had to carry our luggage all the way to our room. Good points are, the room is huge, the pool is large enough. Breakfast is decent. Wifi is good. Bad points, that time our cellular network has no signal, brown out some times but good thing they have generator. Please be mindful of your guests. From the arrival, to departure please be aware of their needs. The hotel itself is very good but the service should be improved.

Downside was - having to ask for our room to be cleaned. This is the 2nd time we have stayed, the first was amazing, but the 2nd time here (only for 1 night) our AC wasn’t strong enough and made for quite an uncomfortable feeling. It is said that it will cost 800 pesos. Here, the airport is about two kilometers away from the hotel. I have lived in Manila for more than ten years, and the fare for two kilometers is less than 200 pesos. This is what I don’t like. I have stayed in many five-star hotels and four-star hotels on many islands, and there is no such charge. So in the end, I took the local tuk-tuk by myself! 150 pesos to the airport, within ten minutes. The hotel is in a deep alley, and there is not much food around! The restaurant in the hotel charges a high fee, and you will get tired of it after two days. The swimming pool is very dirty, so there is no entertainment in the hotel. It is very boring. It is said that the hotel is by the sea, but the sea water cannot be played. It is simply a stinky ditch. Stand by and take a look! The service is very good, and snacks are delivered every night! The water in the hotel is very unpalatable. I started to get sick on the day I went there, and I got better after I came back, but the thoughtful hotel waiter helped me find medicine! There are not many types of breakfast. It looks hygienic and tastes good, but it's basically cold. Anyway, it fills your stomach! Let's evaluate the entire Palawan Island! This is the worst place in the Philippines among the many islands I have visited. It is greedy and the consumption level is extremely high, even higher than Manila City. The hotel called a car for me and charged 750 pesos within 10 kilometers. I returned to Manila Airport today and it was 265 pesos within 10 kilometers. The commercialization is too serious and annoying. I never want to go to this place again. It's a serious rip-off! There is nothing fun!

The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there.  The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)

White Breeze was a great stay, the staff were lovely and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile :) Breakfast was worth the extra few pounds and it also provides free filtered water. However the location was quite remote but they can call a tricycle for you which is roughly 150 pesos to get to the centre.

It’s got a beautiful pool and reception area. Outside it looks nice. The state of the rooms inside was a little disappointing. Quite old. Unkempt if i may. the wallpapers are slightly peeling at the edges, it’s stuffy and really can use some renovation work. The staff is nice and friendly and the restaurant makes good food. Even though the dial code wasn’t working and i had to call reception everytime i wanted to order.

The transportation company sponsored by the resort from airport to resort was BAD - book airport transportation to resort once you land and not with resort sponsored company. There is a Starbucks coffee on property, limited menu. Staff does not make the stay experience more enjoyable. The breakfast is average at best - Somewhat boring and limited selection. No bacon, poor sausage taste, no cheese or sliced meats as an option like so many other resorts/hotels. Coffee is super basic. Main dishes are limited. Resort pool is nothing unique and boring. Pool waitstaff not friendly. The food prices are over priced for how basic the food is. The pool chairs are nice. There are no resort activities, especially for little kids.

The Bacau Bay Resort was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great. A little far from the main town but the staff are helpful to get you wherever you want to go! Really recommend for a relaxing time!!

Want to see the sunset🌇Choose a sunset villa, just go out~ Since we played in Coron for two days, the stay in Paradise Island was too short, and we haven't finished walking on the island😅. The swimming pool is a bit small, and the water is stagnant, which needs to be improved. The room assigned at the beginning was too far from my friend, so I asked to change it. Because there were customers in other rooms, I changed to the next room😂, and the front desk did not arrange your luggage to change directly. I had to call the room to change it. The service was not detailed enough (•︠ˍ•︡)🥺Facing different customers every day, maybe they are also **~Smiling on the surface, ** in the heart, hahaha😁The pretty front desk lady was indifferent~Others would take the initiative to say hello when they saw customers🫰🏻 Then there was no fruit for breakfast, probably because of the island, the supplies were scarce😰. Finally, overall, it is very suitable for taking children to get close to nature. There are bats, lizards, and many birds on the island🐦~ Very good photos.

We enjoyed our stay at Two Seasons Coron. It was close to town proper and there available tuktuks outside the whole which was convenient. If you want to open the curtains and enjoy some sunlight, book facing the sea. Ours was by the road so every time we step out so hang something, we have an audience lol This is something I will consider again next time but over all, it was a pleasant stay. Please change your hand bar soap to just a bottle soap, for sustainability purposes. They already have shampoo, body wash and lotion and refillable bottles which was good to see. Bar soaps dont finish in 3 days, and a shame thinking were it will end up after use. Thanks!

The owner is the only Mongolian in Cologne, so the design of the yurt is very authentic, which is a very special experience. The refrigerator in the room is quite noisy, and the neighbor's chickens will crow very early, so the earplugs provided in the room are very useful. There is unlimited supply of water, ice bath, etc. The price of the shuttle bus to the airport is also reasonable. At this price, it is good value for money

Super satisfied, highly recommend this hotel, the king of cost! Location: 5 minutes drive from Coron Town, 20-25P one person. Environment: The picture is consistent, we have set a deluxe room, although the hotel looks small, there is a hole in the sky, there is a beautiful swimming pool (free use of life jackets and ankles), as well as lounge chairs, swings, etc., elegant and pleasant. Service: The waiter is very polite, cleaning is super clean (remember to tip) Breakfast: The free breakfast is very rich, and it is not heavy every day, full! Equipment: There are safes, hair dryers, disposable toiletries, hot and cold water. From the hotel overlooking the sea, it is very beautiful, then the hotel also has a spa (on the opposite side of the two swings), behind the showcase selling jewelry in the hotel lobby is a small supermarket. If you want to buy daily necessities, but do not want to go to the town, go out of the hotel door and turn left to go 100 meters to have a canteen (cheap than the town), turn right is the road to the town. location is perfect just few block for a market and walking distance to the marina we're the boats for excursion is dock and load. The hotel accomodations is just basic small bed low and very thin mattress, pillow and blanket is excellent soft, water supply is abundant although electricity us intermitent on and off, our aircondition unit has been affected that doesn't giving cold air glad it was just out last night. pool is beautiful and cleaned , food for breakfast is superb better and giid quality selection. the staff are very polite and respectful, very helpful and get job done as much as possible, they pack a sandwich breakfast for us as we have early trip to El Nido that was very nice if rhem. The water supply is not drinkable so they provide bottled water and you can ask for a refill. They will give you a welcome drink of a fruit drink. This is really a good location, my only dislike is the bed, as it's very small when they say twin bed it is a twin bed, other than that it's ok. Yes its more pricey compare to the sorrounding hotel but the food and pool are the best.
