Courtyard Fukui is my favourite hotel in my trip across Chubu region. The location is fantastic; it is just a small street across he Fukui Station where you will find a few dinosaurs with animatronics. No lack of food and souvenir options around. It’s a new hotel and lots of modern amenities. The twin beds are big and comfortable. The hotel and FUKUMACHI BLOCK, a mall of sorts are linked. You park at FUKUMACHI BLOCK which costs JPY2000 for 24 hours. Marriot Bonvoy members get a discounted rate for JPY1500 (you validate and pay at the hotel reception).
New hotel, spa really nice. Spacious and modern room. Staff was nice. The problem is that parking area is a bit small, people mainly use cars and risk to not get a space is high. Same for breakfast, small area compared to hotel numbers so you may have to wait.
But overall experience is super nice.
The hotel is old but the maintenance is very good. The front desk said that there are more locals, so the front desk staff is also more laborious in English. They still work hard to be very enthusiastic. The one berth and two meals are set, the meal is more regular, and the overall is good.
Very good hot spring hotel, first-class service facilities, friendly staff, although the room is a bit old, but clean and comfortable. The Japanese-style room is very beautiful. The one I stayed in had a private open-air bath, which was very beautiful! On the day I stayed there, we were the only Chinese, and the other customers I saw were all Japanese. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly to foreigners! English speaking staff! Although the price is a bit expensive, it's worth it! The location is about an 8-minute drive from JR Aragatsu Onsen Station, and a taxi is not expensive. The hotel has a dedicated bus shuttle, just book it on the official website. There's not much to do around here. The buffet has a rich variety of food and drinks. But we only have 90 minutes to eat, it would be better if we could have 120 minutes. If you do not choose the buffet, you can choose the Kaiseki cuisine. You can drink as much as you want in the room, including Japanese sake, beer and juice. All in all, I would stay here again.
The biggest problem is that the window cannot be opened and it is very hot. The air conditioner can only reach 20 degrees at the lowest. The decoration of the room is a bit old and the table is unstable. There are not enough plugs. The good thing is that the location is convenient. There are many small things in the lobby that can be taken. The front desk staff are very helpful.
I stayed at Dormy Inn. The room facilities are very good. It is a new type
It was a Japanese holiday that day, and many people were at the bathhouse. You had to wait to take a shower. The bathhouse was full and there was not enough space to blow dry your hair.
The hotel is in a good location, just 5 or 6 minutes walk to the station
The room was renovated, clean and bright, the hotel had a shuttle bus, the service was good, and the large bath was renovated. Breakfast is not bad, typical Japanese meal. Two suggestions: 1. Increase English staff and reply to guest emails quickly; 2. Towels are not provided in the large bath, but the towels in the room are thin and small, which is not enough for each person. I hope to consider adjustment.
This time I ordered breakfast and dinner, so it was perfect. Dinner is buffet, good quality, especially beef and sweet shrimp. If you want to eat hot pot, just make up some money. The buffet ticket can cost about four thousand. It also includes tickets for the primary ice and snow park. I didn't know when I made the reservation. I discussed with the front desk to change to a cable car ticket. Originally, the cable car ticket for 3,700 a day was changed to two thousand and five. The front desk sold 800 tickets for the primary stage, which was worth twelve thousand. It's worth it

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the train station, just two or three minutes' walk away.
The hotel is medium-sized, the rooms are spacious, but the bathroom is a bit small.
There are not many types of breakfast, but the taste is good. There is free ramen for midnight snack, and the noodles are chewy.

DDVS-SHLocation, please pay attention!
JR Asahi Onsen comes out, the taxi is about 2000 yen, and it takes about 6 minutes to get there. On the return trip, you can reserve a hotel shuttle bus 9.30 and send it to the station for free.
Many guides write, arrived at the ”Awahara Hot Spring Tangzhi Street” station recently, did leave the hotel for 3 minutes. But slow trains rarely work, not recommended. Don't make a mistake, the two transfer needs to be in Fukui Station, a V-shaped, very waste of time.
Convenience stores around the hotel, but there is a big local supermarket.
The room is tatami, the next day breakfast is a set meal, very rich, the climate will say hello to your meal time, 7 o'clock to 8.30, half an hour, can not sleep late.
There is a temporary market in the hotel lobby, local aquatic products, so special highlights.

AAnonymous UserJR Asahi Onsen Station takes bus 97 for 15 minutes and then walks for 5 minutes.
But before the check-in time, the hotel locked the door and needed to ring the doorbell to receive someone. Fortunately, the receptionist let me put my luggage temporarily.
I only learned that the hotel has a free bus transfer (trip.com completely did not mention)
The room was clean and the dinner and breakfast food was very varied and delicious!
I think 3.5 score is too low (without regard to location), it should be worth more than 4 points!
