Hhwee yin LeeAlways love staying at Dormy inn for their free onsen, free yakult, free ice-cream and especially free ramen during the night time from 2130 to 2300.
The room is clean, quiet and spacious with a seating area. Location is just nice, about 600m walk from JR station, 500m walk to the Kehi -Jingu Shrine, 3.3 km walk to the Nihonkai Sakana fish market. Most of the shops in the fish market closed at around 4.30 pm.
A supermarket is just located at the opposite side, can get some offered items after 5 pm. Get lots of offered food from the supermarket for the breakfast. So I don't try their breakfast. Will definitely stay in this hotel if I return to Tsuruga again.
Hhwee yin LeeThe hotel is very close to JR Station. After exiting from the West Gate, you can immediately spot a tall building. Take the elevator through a door to the left of the building to the third floor. If it's not yet check-in time, you can store your luggage at the concierge desk on the third floor. From the third floor, take another elevator to the reception on the sixteenth floor to check in. Then, take another elevator from the sixteenth floor to your room's floor. The highest room floor is the 28th floor. The higher you stay, the more expansive the view, and you can even see the JR Station. Additionally, guests staying here can use the fitness equipment on the sixteenth floor.
The room was clean and quiet, with excellent soundproofing. I loved their small coffee machine and the Coway water dispenser in the bathroom, but I especially enjoyed the expansive view from the room. My only minor regret is not trying their breakfast. The next time I come to Fukui, I will definitely stay here again and make sure to try the breakfast.
CcircleyIt's a beautiful Japanese hotel, with Japanese-style accommodation and dining. The service is also very good, and the food is very thoughtful. But the room is too hot at night, the air conditioner is not adjusted well, the quilt is too thick, and I sweated when I slept in April, so I didn't sleep well.
RRachoooGood location, nearby fukui station, lot of restaurants surronding. Room was very clean, exceptionally clean in bathroom, with plenty of space, but the design was not quite making good use of space.
The hotel provides free late night snack at restaurant and welcome snacks & drinks in room.
GGuest UserThe room was exactly the Japanese-style room I had imagined, very comfortable. The balcony had a washbasin, which was convenient for larger groups. The onsen (hot spring) was fantastic. Complimentary drinks were served in the evenings, and you could comfortably relax in the lobby. There were three discount stores opposite the hotel, perfect for those who wanted to do some shopping.
TTudouThe hotel is super close to the station, about a 3-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel facilities and environment are great, and the staff are very friendly. The large public bath is also very comfortable. Plus, there's free ramen at 9:30 PM!
熱熱血娜娜Very good hot spring hotel, first-class service facilities, friendly staff, although the room is a bit old, but clean and comfortable. The Japanese-style room is very beautiful. The one I stayed in had a private open-air bath, which was very beautiful! On the day I stayed there, we were the only Chinese, and the other customers I saw were all Japanese. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly to foreigners! English speaking staff! Although the price is a bit expensive, it's worth it! The location is about an 8-minute drive from JR Aragatsu Onsen Station, and a taxi is not expensive. The hotel has a dedicated bus shuttle, just book it on the official website. There's not much to do around here. The buffet has a rich variety of food and drinks. But we only have 90 minutes to eat, it would be better if we could have 120 minutes. If you do not choose the buffet, you can choose the Kaiseki cuisine. You can drink as much as you want in the room, including Japanese sake, beer and juice. All in all, I would stay here again.
LLiboluofuThe hotel is spacious and well-equipped, located in the heart of the hot spring district, yet conveniently located yet quiet. It's large, with several different hot spring baths of varying styles and functions, including a rooftop observation bath. The food is decent, though not as good as my previous experience at Kurokawa Onsen in Kumamoto. The Japanese-style room is large, with 14 tatami mats, enough to accommodate over a dozen people! They even provided two traditional local snacks in the room, a very thoughtful touch.
