The hotel is very close to JR Station. After exiting from the West Gate, you can immediately spot a tall building. Take the elevator through a door to the left of the building to the third floor. If it's not yet check-in time, you can store your luggage at the concierge desk on the third floor. From the third floor, take another elevator to the reception on the sixteenth floor to check in. Then, take another elevator from the sixteenth floor to your room's floor. The highest room floor is the 28th floor. The higher you stay, the more expansive the view, and you can even see the JR Station. Additionally, guests staying here can use the fitness equipment on the sixteenth floor.
The room was clean and quiet, with excellent soundproofing. I loved their small coffee machine and the Coway water dispenser in the bathroom, but I especially enjoyed the expansive view from the room. My only minor regret is not trying their breakfast. The next time I come to Fukui, I will definitely stay here again and make sure to try the breakfast.
The room is very big! The view from the 10th floor overlooks the rice fields and distant mountains, which is very healing! The hot springs are also great! The morning and evening buffets are rich and have Japanese characteristics. There are free wines (red and white wine, whiskey, Japanese sake, beer, etc.) for dinner. During afternoon tea time, the lobby bar has hot spring eggs, various drinks and delicious draft beer 🍺. The most commendable thing is the service attitude and service quality of the hotel staff. The whole state is very energetic and enthusiastic 😄 It seems that the boss also personally carries luggage and drives to pick up hotel guests. It is a good travel experience!
Good location, nearby fukui station, lot of restaurants surronding. Room was very clean, exceptionally clean in bathroom, with plenty of space, but the design was not quite making good use of space.
The hotel provides free late night snack at restaurant and welcome snacks & drinks in room.
Lobby is grand and great area, check in service is fast, smooth and patient for serving. Lobby contain a 24-hr shop for us buying snack. Room is clean, big and window can sightseeing city view, great. Bed is comfortable, hotel provide types of pillow for selection , comfortable for sleeping well.
Highly recommend this hotel! The hot springs are fantastic! Plenty of self-service laundry machines and they're all very clean. The hotel is spotless, and the service is excellent! Tsuruga is amazing!
The hotel is spacious and well-equipped, located in the heart of the hot spring district, yet conveniently located yet quiet. It's large, with several different hot spring baths of varying styles and functions, including a rooftop observation bath. The food is decent, though not as good as my previous experience at Kurokawa Onsen in Kumamoto. The Japanese-style room is large, with 14 tatami mats, enough to accommodate over a dozen people! They even provided two traditional local snacks in the room, a very thoughtful touch.
The location of the hotel is good and easy to get there! Staying in a room for three people, the space is not bad, and the luggage is more than enough! In addition, the facilities in the room are neat and uniform. I will choose this room again next time I travel, and I will recommend it to other friends around me.
The room was exactly the Japanese-style room I had imagined, very comfortable. The balcony had a washbasin, which was convenient for larger groups. The onsen (hot spring) was fantastic. Complimentary drinks were served in the evenings, and you could comfortably relax in the lobby. There were three discount stores opposite the hotel, perfect for those who wanted to do some shopping.
The hotel is super close to the station, about a 3-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel facilities and environment are great, and the staff are very friendly. The large public bath is also very comfortable. Plus, there's free ramen at 9:30 PM!

DDVS-SHLocation, please note!
From JR Awara Onsen, a taxi costs about 2,000 yen, and it takes about 6 minutes to arrive directly. For the return journey, you can reserve the hotel shuttle bus at 9.30, and it will be delivered to the station for free.
Many guides write that it is the closest to the ”Awara Onsen Tang Street” station, and it is indeed a 3-minute walk from the hotel. But there are very few slow trains, so it is not recommended. Don't get me wrong, the transfer between the two needs to be at Fukui Station, a V-shape, which is a waste of time.
There are 🈚️ convenience stores around the hotel, but there is a big local supermarket.
The guest room is just tatami. The next day's breakfast is a set meal, which is very rich. The weather will say hello to your meal time, from 7:00 to 8.30, every half an hour, so you can't sleep late.
There is a temporary market in the hotel lobby, local aquatic products, which are very special highlights.

GGuest UserThe experience of Zen meditation and the service was very good. The vegetarian food was delicious and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was an experience worth more than the price.
