Good location next to Matsuyama station, easy access to Okaido, big shopping street, and famous Dogo onsen hot springs by tram. 2nf floor is the front desk/lounge for free drinks and soft ice cream/breakfast restaurant. The public bath is on 3rd floor. Room size is the Japanese standard, more storage space under the bed. Breakfast offers various food, many local cuisine and food, and 6 different kinds of local orange juices from Ehime.

kay_fightExcellent! The location is fantastic, right on Ookaido Street, meaning you can shop comfortably protected from both sun and rain. The onsen (hot spring bath) on the upper floor was exceptionally clean and delightful. They also offer free laundry washing, with drying available for 100 yen. Step right outside, and you'll find the tram station and a bustling food street. Virtually all of Matsuyama's highly recommended restaurants are within easy walking distance. Cannot recommend enough!

I stayed here as part of my Tokyo Love Story pilgrimage. The facilities, hygiene, and environment were all absolutely perfect, truly impeccable. The only issue was that when I booked, it showed no breakfast included, but the reservation slip provided by the front desk indicated breakfast. I returned the breakfast voucher to the front desk and asked them to double-check, as 3000 yen isn't a small amount. The front desk said they would verify and call my room, but I never heard back, even until check-out. For a hotel of this caliber, I really think this is unacceptable, especially since this was the part I was most looking forward to in Matsuyama. However, despite this minor flaw, the rest of my experience was absolutely perfect.

ChrisPeaAmazing value for such a high class hotel. Spacious rooms, beautiful spa with indoor and outdoor baths. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. About 10 mins walk from JR station. I always stay here when visiting Imabari.

Guest UserI really had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and simple, with separate bath and toilet, a sauna, and the bathtub was so relaxing I could stretch my legs out for a long time. I really respect the architect who designed this hotel. I think it was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The breakfast was Western-style and excellent. It was delicious. It was so comfortable that I relaxed right up until the last minute before check-out. It's in the Mitsukoshi building, and it's conveniently located along Okaido. I'll go again.

MiemieI really love the Daiwa hotel chain... it's affordable and comfortable. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Mitsukoshi, and Akihabara is also nearby. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to Dogo Onsen, but the parking lot can be busy since it's a multi-story garage, so there might be a wait. The parking fee is reasonable, and the parking attendants are very helpful... Overall, I recommend staying here.

The hotel is quite new and modern. The onsen is nice, but tattoos are not allowed (covering them with stickers is ok). The rooms are impeccable and well furnished, but on the smaller side.

Guest UserWe wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!

블랙잠만보During my trip to Matsuyama, I stayed at the Hiyori Hotel and was thoroughly satisfied overall.
The room was clean and surprisingly spacious, making it comfortable for my family and me. The staff were also very friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel interior felt clean and well-maintained throughout.
Its location was particularly convenient for exploring Matsuyama city sights and dining. I think it's an excellent choice for accommodation during a trip. The breakfast was also clean and well-prepared, allowing us to start our days energized.
Considering the facilities, cleanliness, and the staff's kindness, it was a hotel with high value for money. If I visit Matsuyama again, I would definitely want to stay here again.
I recommend it for family trips or stays with friends. It's a great option for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay while traveling in Matsuyama.

You can think of this hotel as a 'plus' version of a domestic Orange Hotel Crystal. The decor is that of a five-star hotel, but the price is that of a business hotel. The renovations were clearly done with great care, and the breakfast across all their locations maintains a consistent standard. They all feature a free rooftop hot spring bath with a view. I've stayed at various Candeo hotels in different locations, and overall, the bathroom facilities at the Ehime branch feel a bit old; I suspect it's an older hotel that was renovated without updating the bathrooms. In winter, since the windows don't open for ventilation, a lot of condensation builds up. At night, when there's a lot of condensation, it drips down the walls, leading to mold in those areas. This results in a musty smell when you first enter the room. It must also be quite a hassle for the cleaning staff to deal with the condensation in every room daily. What I disliked most was the lack of a duvet cover; a single sheet separates you from the duvet. I've only encountered this at the Ehime and Kagoshima branches, perhaps it's a local custom… there's nothing much one can do about it. Everything else was great.
