Blanco Hotel Spa

I really enjoyed the breakfast - they had even freshly squeezed orange juice, different kinds of fruit, cheese, ham, sausage, bread and sweets. Also excellent espresso and other coffee drinks. Room was nice and included a bath. Everything was stylish and modern. Service was excellent also. Fist I was little worried about traffic noise but windows were soundproofing and the traffic was very low, so it.wasn’t problem at all.

We booked this hotel due to its location not far from Real Oviedo football ground. We visited Oviedo for my son’s birthday and to go to football match. Room was triple deluxe room which was large enough for the 3 of us. Bathroom was large and more than adequate. Shower very powerful. Toiletries included, including toothpaste and toothbrushes. Beds were comfortable and wardrobe large enough for what we needed. Cafe in the hotel was nice and very reasonably priced. Staff in cafe and on reception were lovely Downside - air conditioning did not work in room and when I spoke to reception they said that it had been turned on - it seems that this is centrally controlled and even though we turned room temperature down to 16 and turned fan high, we could not get the air conditioning to work which meant the room was far too hot and I slept approx 8 hours over 3 nights due to the heat. Another issue was we were shocked to discover there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room - we have never been to a hotel that did not provide tea and coffee and we found this a huge let down

San Lorenzo Beach
The reception and the lifts are small. The guests who had room looking at the sea thought they were opaque glasses and they were seen naked, people who passed by commented and laughed, should tell the guests. The rooms and bathrooms are large but little gift in the room. The bathroom has a pad that does not have to do with the floor, but as a old bathroom, it is thankful for the quality of materials, size and large bathroom.
Abba Playa Gijon Hotel

URH Hotel Spa Zen Balagares

The hotel is good with a range of amenities but it is well away from the town centre. It looks as though there were plans to develop the area but they have not been completed yet. A good location for a conference rather than a holiday.

We chose Gijon at random, just because it was halfway between two other towns we were visiting, and we were very glad we did, it’s charming. What made the two night stay even better was this wonderful hotel. We had a junior suite, which was huge and extremely comfortable, the staff are lovely and it’s very well located. We thoroughly recommend El Moderne.

All in all, we found this hotel to be impressive, all rooms are clean, tidy, beautiful and correct, the hotel is well located about 15m from the old town. For ”but”, I will introduce the following. When arriving at the reception, the girl who attended our meeting (by the way, very beautiful) explained that if we want to eat breakfast and enjoy a 9 euro discount, then we can hire him the day before because it is 18 euros. In general, we went out for dinner and then returned to the hotel. The next day we wanted to rent breakfast. To our surprise, the boy at the reception told us that in order to benefit from this offer, we must We hired him during our stay and he gave us so angry that we didn't do it because it was not what they told us in the first place. But on the Sunday before leaving, there was another girl at the reception. In order to confirm the true version, we told her what happened and confirmed the version of her first companion. She asked us a thousand apologies. The facts are facts. There is nothing we can do. Could not have breakfast.
Munna Hotel Boutique

Very aesthetically pleasing hotel, large bedroom, good quality shower, great location, plus check out at 12 which is nice. The not so good: Requested where we could get breakfast at check in, we were given the names of two places close by. We didn’t even know there was breakfast available at the hotel as an option until we spotted the tea and coffee point one evening. We went down to get a drink just after 10 and told it wouldn’t be available until 12. A bit odd, especially as it’s not available in the room and we didn’t know about breakfast. The corridor gets a bit noisy if your located near the storage cupboard as the doors slam shut. It is a nice hotel , but I think there are just a few things which need adding, e.g. do not disturb signage in the room, information sheet in the room about things like the number to call to reach reception.
Oca Villa de Avilés Hotel

Perfectly good hotel located a short distance from the old quarter. Doesn’t really feel like a tourist hotel due to its location in the less attractive part of town - more the sort of place you’d expect to go on a business trip. Clean, comfortable and modern, but would probably want to stay in the old town next time. Aviles is a pretty ugly city on the whole and the location of this hotel is not the best.
NH Oviedo Principado

Excellent hotel, comfortable, functional and beautiful in the heart of Oviedo. About everything and with good connections to the motorways to Gijón and airport. Very recommended junior suites, with a small room attached to the room and desk to work.
