The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the rates were very reasonable. My only negative point is the noise levels. Music was blaring from early morning to night & relaxing was very difficult without earplugs. There’s a DJ on Thursdays I think that plays very loud club music from early in the morning & it’s not very nice to wake up to. Apart from that, it’s a great little hostel with lots of chill out space and all the lovely plants in the courtyard really make it quite lovely.
When I got there, I told me that I booked a women's room. Then I didn't choose on the platform, there were 8 people and 12 people. I also asked me to add money to upgrade to a single room. After nearly half an hour of battle, I was allowed to upgrade to a single room for free. Not very pleasant
12 people are OK. After all, there are many people, that's it. The toilet is OK, it is not convenient to put clothes.
The location is fantastic and easy to locate. It is a simple and charming building more for functionality than luxury. The walls are thin and water pressure could use some attention but for two nights, it was more than ok. Be very careful on the tule bathroom floor as it gets slippery!! The staff is bilingual and very helpful. Wi-Fi was strong and continuous even on the roof which is a hidden gem(!)with views of the central square, many ruins, and clear view of mountains and the volcano. Would recommend!
The location is very good, the room is very small! Tipping luggage on the third floor! Antigua City is worth a few days to stroll around. The hotel is not equipped with a hotel. There is a kitchen and a garden. There is a sofa at the door of the hotel. It is especially intimate to sit! Saw a bicycle race in Antigua
Small and cosy hotel in Antigua per reasonable price. Old colonial appropriately designed casa with all basic services. Breakfast is included as well as small terrace and interesting talks with the room neighbours :) it’s also possible here to exchange the money and ask to arrange some activities / tours.
The room is very hot during the day, no air conditioning. I think it is normal in Antiqua hotel/casa with no air conditioning. The room is clean and comfortable but it is hot.the rest is good

GGuest UserSecond time I stayed and I had the same room. Once again I had wonderful experience. This property is a short walk (15-20 minutes) from central, it’s very spacious, clean, kitchen is well equipped and very quiet. I loved it and can only recommend it.
Little advice, contact the property before your arrival as it is a self service and so you will need codes to get in the house and your room. I didn’t have an internet connection but luckily there was a lady inside who let me in and showed everything.

GGuest UserI had a double room and I had a right to 2 breakfasts according to booking and wanted only a smoothie instead of a breakfast I had to pay this.
Friendly young woman at the reception who spoke very good English .

Jjulie998We stayed in the Glamping tent at the front of the Hostel. There was a picture of a fan advertised in the tent. However, when we got there, there was no fan so it was a little hot at night. the Hostel is clean and I had a party atmosphere.
HHesaiThe place is completely great, the staff very kind, the location was strategic, everything is very close. The toilets and bedsheets are clean
