fantastic! The location is excellent and the hotel is well managed. I do. It hesitate to recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants to stay one or a couple of nights I the beautiful city of Heidelberg. The breakfast is variable and rich. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The location is great for visits in the old town but also for early morning walks in the nearby forest
The hotel is on a mountain, overlooking the town at the foot of the mountain. The hotel has many saunas and a restaurant next to it. The courtyard with autumn leaves is still very beautiful, but it is very difficult to access the Internet in the hotel. There are rooms with almost no signal. The king-size bed room does not feel very big.
The room was nice, new and clean, except for the location, which was behind the train station. You can go directly to the overpass after getting off the train, but the elevator didn't work at night, it was a bit shady, and the road behind the train station was a bit dirty. The breakfast was good.
Breakfast: Amazing food, view from breakfast was the highlight
Room: Stayed for several nights, had sparkling water free bottle for first day, but water was not provided for the remaining days. I ended up boiling water with the coffee machine and had water with coffee taste for those days, because there were no kettles. If you like coffee, this would perfect though. Overall, would still highly recommend the hotel despite the ”coffee water”.
Noise: Very quiet and peaceful. I noted some comments said it was loud, but I couldn't hear any train sound. Great for business trip.
The location is superb - Heidelberg Central station is practically next door (3 mins on foot). The hotel is very new and has an open plan in the lobby and breakfast area - appeals to the young travellers. True to the German style, the craftsmanship and design in the room are well thought-through. Everything you need for a long or short stay is there in the room. We don't need daily cleaning services, so that's fine with us, much better that way to save water and detergents. Breakfast is good, too with a nice wide spread of choices of juices, hot drinks, continental bread, cold cuts. We had 2 encounters (couldn't figure out how to use the cooker and hair-dryer) with the staff and they are really efficient and helpful.
There is free parking at the entrance of the hotel, which is very good. There is a large chain supermarket next door. The hotel is also very clean. It happened to be the World Cup that day. Everyone was watching the game in the lobby. It was very good.
Great hotel not too far from the airport.
All good for my stay but the only complaint I had was that there was no hot water on the last day of my stay. It would have been good for them to inform guests in advance if this was scheduled maintenance. I had to boil a kettle to have a shave and ended up having to go without a shower.
The hotel is very big, probably with hundreds of rooms, a swimming pool and a sauna. The rooms are the largest of the same level hotels I have stayed in Europe, and the decoration is also relatively new.
We were there for the second time and would love to come back. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Another tip for saving money: There is a Norma supermarket nearby where you can buy snacks/drinks before you head off to Europa-Park.😉
It's a great apartment, well equipped and well organized, the only thing missing is air conditioning.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserVery friendly and new hotel (the hotel building is on the right at the end of photo 1). It has a self-service luggage locker. It is commendable in every aspect. The breakfast is rich. It is right next to the two famous hot springs. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the center of the old city.
GGuest UserVery chic interior, nice furniture, comfortable room. Staff friendly and helpful. Cocktail bar was also nice. ”Fancy”, as they say, describes the whole thing very well, in a positive sense. Absolutely top price, breakfast at €20 is above the standard price but there is also a lot on offer at the buffet. Coffee could also be fetched after breakfast times, an absolute plus point, also for the small machine in the room 🙏
TToon FokWhile the hotel was generally clean and comfortable, several aspects of the stay were disappointing—especially considering the nightly room rate. One major issue was the €22 per day charge for parking. Many comparable hotels offer complimentary parking as a standard courtesy, so this felt unnecessary.
Another inconvenience was the lack of daily replenishment of bottled water in the room. This is a small but basic amenity that many hotels provide, and its absence was noticeable.
Additionally, the room itself felt quite old and in need of some updates. It didn’t quite match the standard expected for the price.
On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near a Rewe supermarket, just about 2 to 3 minutes away, making it easy to grab any essentials.
Overall, these added costs, the room's condition, and the overlooked details made the stay feel less guest-friendly and not quite worth the price.
LLeon ChouIt is very close to the airport, less than 5 minutes' walk. There are large supermarkets and subways nearby, which makes it very convenient to get to the city center. The breakfast options are diverse. I will stay here again next time I go on a business trip.
HHermosaIt’s a pretty new hotel with large rooms and a good location. It’s about 15-20 minutes’ drive from the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The parking lot downstairs is public, but the hotel’s instructions are unclear. Although it’s marked with air conditioning, it’s not found in the room. As for the air outlet, I found a regulator in the toilet that seemed to be an air conditioner but it had almost no effect, so the room was a little stuffy and I had to open the window to solve the problem. You can walk to rewe and pharmacy nearby for 7 minutes' walk, which is convenient for shopping. The sauna and swimming pool facilities on the 5th floor are temporarily suspended, which is very regrettable.
GGuest UserI had an all-round fantastic stay at the InterCity Hotel in Karlsruhe! As soon as I entered the lobby I was greeted by a bright, modern ambience that immediately gave me the feeling of being in good hands. The rooms are not only extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished, but also immaculately clean - a perfect retreat after a long day in the city.
VvUvUThe station is right in front of the hotel, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the central station.
The rooms are clean.
The front desk has coffee service in the morning, which was nice.
The bathroom also had a bathtub!
The shower glass partition sometimes let a little water out, so it might not be suitable for families with children.
