When I went to Hailar, I stayed at this hotel both on the way there and when I left. It was as good as ever. The free airport shuttle was unique among the high-end hotels in Hailar. Needless to say, the facilities and services are excellent. From reception to guest rooms to cleaning, all the service staff of high-end hotels are very good. The most important thing is that there is a parking space at the door, which is extremely convenient. You can consider staying at this hotel when you go to Hailar.

The room was quite clean, and while the decor showed its age, it didn't feel outdated. There were more hooks than in typical hotels, which made it very convenient to hang clothes and bags. The window soundproofing was excellent; as a light sleeper who is genuinely sensitive to noise, I barely heard any outdoor sounds once I was in the room. There was also no peculiar smell when I turned off the air conditioning. Crucially, I didn't see any bugs or get bitten by mosquitoes during my stay.
The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm, offering good support. I usually prefer a firmer bed, so this one was just right – definitely much better than those so soft you feel like sleeping on the floor.
I really liked the hotel's location. Right downstairs, next door, is a large sports field, and just past the field is Qingcheng Park. A short stroll from there takes you to Kuanzhai Alley, which was perfect for someone like me who loves to walk around.
Breakfast was quite plentiful. They offered shaomai (steamed dumplings) and milk tea; I ended up eating 7 shaomai! 😂 The milk tea was unremarkable, but I much preferred the soy milk. The cheese selection was a bit limited, seemingly only cheddar and Gouda. I didn't see any other varieties.
Service-wise, it's a matter of personal opinion, I suppose. The staff I encountered were all quite young and didn't come across as particularly warm or enthusiastic. However, their service quality and efficiency were definitely on point. They were helpful in solving problems; for example, when I called for earplugs close to 11 PM, they were delivered to my room within minutes. A minor downside was that food delivery couldn't come directly to the room; I had to go downstairs to the lobby entrance to pick it up.
I stayed at three different hotels over three nights in Hohhot, intending to compare them all. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it's highly likely I'll choose to stay here again next time I visit.

Wanda Vista Hohhot: A Five-Star Gem in the Green City
My business trip to Hohhot was made perfect by my stay at the Wanda Vista. The hotel's location is superb, just a 1-minute walk from the metro station and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping, dining, and getting around incredibly convenient. The Inner Mongolia Museum is also within walking distance, making it super easy to explore the city's attractions.
Stepping into the lobby, the high vaulted ceilings and grassland-inspired decor immediately impress with their elegant and grand style. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a high-floor room, offering breathtaking city night views through its huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The spacious room with plush bedding ensured a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom was thoughtfully designed with a separate wet and dry area, and plenty of hot water – every detail felt considerate.
The breakfast selection was extensive, featuring both Chinese and Western options. The local specialty shaomai and milk tea were authentic and delicious, while the freshly made omelets and homemade yogurt were outstanding. The staff were consistently warm and professional, from check-in guidance to check-out assistance, and even went out of their way to help me find a lost item – truly top-notch, heartwarming service. With its constant-temperature swimming pool and well-equipped professional gym, this is definitely the premier luxury accommodation choice in Hohhot. I'll certainly be staying here again on my next visit!

Baotou Shangri-La Hotel is simply amazing. The check-in experience is really good. Before I checked in, the hotel housekeeper Miss Bai Huimin called me in advance to arrange a satisfactory room for me. The front desk check-in attitude was also very good. The room facilities and equipment are very complete, the hygiene is particularly good, and a small gift with Inner Mongolia characteristics was given when I checked out. In short, it was a very good experience. I will definitely choose here next time!

I'd heard about the Matryoshka Hotel for a long time, but seeing it in person is even better – it's truly unique! Coming during the off-season meant fewer crowds, which made the experience excellent. The staff were very professional, and I even went up to the observation tower and got to try the legendary Russian cuisine.

Let's start with the positives: The overall service, from the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, was quite good. The location is also excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The room was spacious, and it even had a bathtub.
Now for the negatives: There was only one duvet per room, with no extras, just a blanket. This isn't a huge issue, but the next morning, I woke up with fresh red bites all over my body and arms. I just wanted to report this to the hotel, but then 2-3 people came up, supposedly to solve the problem, and immediately asked, ”Did you go to the grasslands? These must be mosquito bites. Our duvets are disinfected, so there shouldn't be any problem.” I was speechless. First, we had just arrived in Hailar and hadn't even been to the grasslands yet. Second, if the bites were above my waist, would mosquitoes really bite me while I was under the covers? Do you change the duvet inserts for every guest? They wouldn't admit there was a problem and instead tried to push the blame onto the customer. It would have been better if they hadn't sent anyone at all. We didn't make any further demands; we just checked out and left.
Reception is very helpful and extremely welcoming.. Mariott always lives up to its name. It's the only hotel that allows me to change money into smaller change.
Room is comfortable and cosy. Worth every single cent. Location is great too. 2 malls are within walking distance.

If you're looking for an excellent hotel in Chifeng, Yulong International Hotel is undoubtedly the best choice. It boasts a convenient location near the city center, with expansive grounds and generously sized rooms. The attention to detail in the room's furniture and soft furnishings is remarkable, evident in everything from the wallpaper to the decorative accents. It's a treat to stay in a property designed by I.M. Pei's team. We also received a complimentary room upgrade, and they even provided a free extra bed for our child. Highly recommended!

We had to change rooms because we found an insect. To make matters worse, while getting settled, I accidentally scalded my arm with hot water while preparing tea. A staff member kindly provided some ointment, but it was still quite painful.
The new room, unfortunately, was on an upper floor facing the main road and lacked proper soundproofing. We could hear traffic noise throughout the night, which is far from ideal for light sleepers or elderly guests sensitive to noise.
Adding to our troubles, the strip lights in the room couldn't be turned off. It was too bright to sleep, and despite not wanting to bother anyone late at night, I had to call an engineer again to fix it. We were told the ballast was broken. It was just one thing after another!
As a gesture, they waived the charges for our drinks and water, amounting to over 40 yuan. Honestly, I wasn't looking for compensation; I just felt completely worn out, physically and mentally, after the injury and all the accumulated hassles.
This was our experience. To be fair, despite these specific issues, our overall stay wasn't entirely bad. Bugs can appear anywhere, and thorough pest control might prevent them. However, lights shouldn't be faulty, especially in a hotel. Perhaps this Wanda property is getting a bit old.
(The attached photo was taken on the third day. I hadn't initially planned on writing a review, which is why I didn't take pictures of the issues as they occurred.)

My first stay at the Rongde Hotel was absolutely stunning. It's arguably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The lobby's mahogany decor is magnificent, the staff are warm and welcoming, and I experienced a dignified welcome. The location is perfect, facing the park with expansive views, perfect for evening walks. It's also close to Ulanmulun Lake, where you can see the musical fountain and enjoy dining and drinking. The rooms are brand new and clean. The hotel's exterior and interior design are aesthetically pleasing, parking is convenient, and the hotel's attention to detail is meticulous, and the staff are well-trained. Ultimately, the most important thing when traveling is comfort, a great environment, excellent service, and a high-quality stay. This time, I chose the Rongde Hotel with these in mind. The bathroom and bathtub are both enormous, and after a day out, it was a delightful soak while gazing at the beautiful night view. The weather in Ordos is perfect for sitting outside. The comfortable Simmons mattress and smart toilet are also excellent, and the fireplace humidifier is a real plus! The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff closed promptly! It's truly the best hotel in Ordos! Definitely worth staying at!

XXieyuanyuanAs luck would have it, we all work in the government affairs system, and we naturally developed a good impression before we even checked in! The hotel has a beautiful natural environment, standardized management, and is not far from various scenic spots in the city. The front desk staff who checked in at the Guobin Building 11 were polite, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and responsive. Zhang Yanan, the manager of the housekeeping department, personally sent us to the room, introduced the relevant facilities of the room, and sent welcome fruits. The area in the room is relatively large. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are still well maintained, and there are full of details everywhere, giving people a feeling of being at home. The breakfast is currently a set meal, with a reasonable price and good taste. Next time I come to Hohhot, I will choose Xincheng Hotel.

__WeChat252205****It was my first time staying at Shuangman Huarui. It felt better than the Shuangman in Yiqi. A young man at the front desk took the initiative to deliver the luggage to the room and gave welcome fruits. Seeing that our family brought two children, the hotel also took the initiative to provide children's slippers and toothbrushes. Since we were not familiar with Kangbashi, the hotel also kindly informed us of the travel route.
The room was also very clean. After taking a shower, my slippers were wet, so I called to get two more pairs. The lady who cleaned the room also put a few more bottles of mineral water.
Worth recommending! !

AAnonymous UserIt was a perfect choice to choose the Lotus Hotel when visiting Xiangshawan! I have to give a special shout-out to Manager Shi Yongchun of the resort reception center's concierge. When I arrived with my large suitcase, he immediately arranged for someone to check it in, making the entire process from the entrance to the hotel worry-free and incredibly efficient. When I checked in, I discovered I had forgotten my charger on the shuttle bus to the scenic area, so I asked him for help. He immediately coordinated with everyone involved and retrieved it for me in no time. He was incredibly reliable.
The hotel room was very clean, with a charming desert-style design. The endless sand dunes outside the window, a dazzling display of golden crimson at sunset, were breathtakingly beautiful. Spending the evening in the courtyard, listening to the wind and gazing at the stars, was truly relaxing. With such a professional and enthusiastic manager like Manager Shi, coupled with the hotel's unique atmosphere, this was a truly perfect experience. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe butler service from JET Yan and Justin Yao was exceptional. They proactively anticipated my check-in needs and had the room prepared perfectly according to my requests. The room itself was clean, spacious, and featured incredibly soft and comfortable bedding and linens. I particularly appreciated the bathroom's three-fixture layout, with a separate bathtub, toilet, and shower area. As a thoughtful touch, we received a complimentary, high-quality, and very cute small camel plush toy. Another convenient feature was the ability to replenish mineral water from dispensers located in the elevator lobbies each evening. Both check-in and check-out processes were seamless, with no queues or unnecessary delays. The Sheraton standard of quality was consistently evident throughout my stay. Although the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Hohhot Station, it was remarkably quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep.

GGuest UserFirst impression of the hotel was good. We stayed at 25th floor, So that the room is bigger than others.
The reason we choose this hotel because It has a swimming pool. So, after checking in, I went to check the pool. I was shocked to see so many people there. It turned out there was a swimming lesson with 6 instructors and twenty something students. The lesson is running from 9am to 8.30pm. ( pool is closed at 9.30 and only 4 line.) I was very disappointed, therefore I called the duty manager and told him the issue. Soon after, the front seat manager Mr Li came to my room with apologetic attitude. Even though he couldn't resolved the issue, we felt that it was out of his hand. Food at fifth floor was so so. Breakfast has a lot of room to improve. If you want to relax in the pool. Don't go there. Otherwise it is a good choice to have a peaceful sleep.

GGuest UserThis hotel deserves more than a perfect score – I'd give it 200 out of 100! The experience was truly exceptional, offering incredible value for money. My business trip coincided with the summer vacation, so I decided to bring my family and kids along to stay at this hotel.
Firstly, the service was absolutely superb. The rooms were spacious and inviting, featuring a large bed and comfortable tatami-style seating. Complimentary fresh fruit was provided daily, and the shower water pressure was excellent.
The breakfast was another highlight – incredibly varied and delicious! They even provided complimentary breakfast for our child over 130cm tall. While kids might not eat much – perhaps just a bowl of noodles and a few side dishes – this thoughtful and considerate gesture truly set them apart from other hotels.
Overall, the experience was outstanding. For any friends visiting Ordos Kangbashi district, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as their top choice. Its location is also excellent: it's close to the Ulan Mulun River, perfect for watching Asia's largest musical fountain at night, and there's Mother Park right behind the hotel. In short, the location is absolutely superb. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserDuring the business trip, the boss arranged to go to Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia. The air here was very good as soon as I got off the car. He also booked Boyuan Hotel, which was very luxurious and had Mongolian flavor. The lobby environment was very beautiful and tidy. The waiter received me warmly and arranged a non-smoking room. The room was clean and tidy. The restaurant had seafood and local special snacks. The gym and swimming pool on the first floor were free to use. The only shortcoming was that the room temperature was too hot, the air conditioner could not cool, and the bedside of the room was a little shabby, but overall I was still very satisfied, and the hotel parking was convenient. 😀 Next time I will definitely bring my family to live in this hotel👍👍
