Had a fantastic time at Docklands Marriott! Location was great, the room was lovely and the welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch š staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooftop pool was relaxing and beautiful. Tho it had a fair bit of people, it didn't bother us as everyone just kept to their own spot. It has lots of eateries around, Woolies, Chemist and free tram stop are all right across from the hotel. Will definitely come back and recommend!

Always a pleasure to stay
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stayed in Oakwood Premier Hotel. The receptionist guy on Friday Morning, 10th Jan, was super nice, friendly and kind. He changed our room facing the city view. We went straight to the hotel after we arrive in Melbourne to put our luggage in their luggage storage because the check in start at 3pm. However, our room were already ready, so we managed to get some sleep and rest. The bed is so comfortable and we got a amazing view! So I really enjoyed our stay there for the whole time! What a great first travel experience in Melbourne! Surely, we will be back!
It's only two minutes' walk to St Kilda Road and you can take any of the seven trams to the city. Very convenient.
The room is very decent in size and the view is nice. The only complaint I have is the ceiling lights are so dim that I couldn't even pack/unpack my luggage in the evening. The bathroom lights are motion triggered and only work when it is dark enough. I had difficulties shaving in the morning. I think it's a design fault.
Balgownie Estate Yarra Valley is a lovely place to stay, surrounded by a beautiful vineyard. Thereās a walking path that leads up to a scenic viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the vineyard, and you can even see cows up close if you are lucky.
The room was cozy and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. However, the air conditioning unit was a bit of a downsideāit was blowing out dust and positioned right above the bed, which wasnāt ideal. A little more maintenance on that would improve the experience. The hotel eventually helped us to change to a new room which did not have any problem.
Overall, itās a great place for a peaceful getaway in the Yarra Valley, with gorgeous scenery and a tranquil atmosphere.

Spent a little extra to upgrade to a high city view room . Well worth the extra $30 , view was great . Room large but a little tired looking ,decor dated especially the bathroom . Hard to control the temperature in the room. Bed was comfortable though and suited us for Grand Prix weekend. Would likely try another brand next time though as needing a revamp
We decided to stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel because it was closer to the airport for our early morning flight, and is on the site of the former Pentridge Prison. We stayed in one of the regular rooms, not a former prison cell(!) The hotel is very clean and modern, and only a short walk to trams and train. The hotel bar is within the bluestone walls of the former prison and looks amazing. Unfortunately, the hotel bar and restaurant were closed on Monday evening, but we had eaten dinner before coming to the hotel. You can book a night time ghost tour and there is a cinema and small shopping centre on the grounds of the prison.
It is not fair to comment on the facility and interior of the hotel because I made a mistake on date. I tried immediately amend through the app, but the robot does not give me options. I called the apps customer service, but was told that I have to wait. I try to take things on my hand to handle it calling the hotel but getting into the call center. everybody at the call center says that they cannot help with third-party reservation. But the third-party which is Trip.com told me through its agent and itās robot that itās talking to Hotel and itās checking if the hotel can help me to change the date. This is not true the hotels I told me that they cannot touch the reservation. Iām not sure which side is lying, but I know Iām being kicked around by both side. OK fine. I will never use you again and I will do my best to make sure that everybody knows my experience. Thank you very much.
There is a surprise, the scenery is so beautiful! The front desk service of the hotel is good, warm and professional. The facilities include an indoor swimming pool and a golf club. The view from the ocean terrace in the room is very good

Not a 5 star hotel, anymore. Booked for 7nights though I only need 5nights as early check in and late check out arenāt available, but thatās ok, I understand itās business and I donāt mind it.
HOWEVER,
Aud7 delivery fee required for asking a chopsticks to my room.
Was told by front desk drinking water only free when you check in as a welcome drink. Thankfully
Choices of Breakfast is as of a 3 star hotel if not worst.
Location is not as vibrant as early years of crown, almost dead.
Tablet instructions werenāt working in the beginning. Thankfully it was fixed after complains were made.
Requested housekeeping in the evening and was told itās not available anymore at this hours.
Thereās a food stain on the coffee table when I checked in. Could be easily cleaned, did not complain, itās still there the day after, it shows how āthoroughā this hotel does their house keeping work.
Bottomline, not value for money, not a 5star, wonāt be back, not recommended.

KKarinaCannot fault the staff however the amenities need overhaul. The rooms TV didnāt work was advised couldnāt be fixed until the following day. Went to use hairdryer to find out no power points on that side of room were working. Again advised cant be fixed straight away. Had to use TV as a mirror for blow drying hair! Then we continued to get calls after 10pm from reception checking if everything was alright despite being told it cannot be fixed. Really disappointing. On a positive to GM and receptionist Cheryl were outstanding in trying to assist and did remove some charges.

MMalaithipThe Chen hotel is in a great spot, near the tram, mall, hospital, and campus, and you can walk to tons of restaurants in under 6 minutes. The rooms are a good size, even if the bathroom is a little small. Plus, the service is awesome, and it's clean.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very new and has complete facilities. I like Lanson Place in Hong Kong very much. The new one in Melbourne also brings the feeling of home. There is a washing machine in the room, which is really a plus for long-distance travel. The service in the breakfast restaurant is very good, and everyone is very warm and thoughtful. We booked two rooms. On the morning of check-out, we wanted to ask the hotel for a 1-hour delay in check-out. The lady at the front desk answered very officially that it was not possible because the room was full today. The gentleman next to us kindly asked about our needs and promised to help with the delay in one room. Although the lady did nothing wrong, moderate flexibility may bring warmth to the service, especially in the hotel industry.
GGuest UserThe room was a really good size. The balcony was at a level where there was no building blocking either the view or afternoon sun - we had to pay extra for this though. The fridge didnt really seem to work, at least the freezer didnt. When putting icecreams in the freezer, they melted, so I turned the dial to cooler and then the fruit in the fridge froze our fruit. We really shouldnt need to adjust settings in the fridge/freezer for them to work. Also the toilet keep running after it flushed. The only way to stop the running of water was to push down on the flush a few times quickly.

AAnonymous UserRoom was ok and on the dark side. Furnishing like table and bathroom looks slightly dated. Water in shower took a while to heat up. Far from tourist street but very close to southern cross stations.

YYICHICHENThe room was spacious, and the location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and it had a massage bathtub, but unfortunately, it was covered in rust stains.

GGuest UserWe initially booked just two nights at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, but the outstanding service we received made us extend our stayāand Iām so glad we did. The level of attentiveness and genuine care shown by the staff truly elevated our experience.
One moment that stood out was during breakfast. My husband asked a staff member at the pastry section whether the items were halal. She explained it to him politely, and to our surprise, about 15 minutes later, the Assistant Director of the restaurant, Mr. Albert, personally came to our table. He took the time to explain the halal options available and even assured us that eggs could be prepared using separate utensils.
While I was getting bread, Mr. Albert noticed and came over again, kindly asking if I would like my eggs prepared then. He immediately instructed the chef to prepare eggs and nuggets for me and told me to sit comfortably while he arranged everything to be brought over.
His thoughtfulness and proactive service left a lasting impression. Itās rare to see such initiative and care, and it made me feel confident that I had chosen the right hotel.
I will definitely recommend Grand Hyatt Melbourne to my family and friends. The hotel is fortunate to have a staff member like Mr. Albertāhe truly deserves recognition for his outstanding hospitality.

Amazing
AA-y-e-s-h-aCan not rate this place and experience high enough. Truely felt like being transported to another world (think living your best Beatrix Potter life) despite only being an hour away from the city. šø š¦šæļøš¹š
The decadent interiors of the suite amongst the most beautiful grounds/garden made for the most perfect stay. The jacuzzi style tub was an absolute treat to soak in with the lounge TV perfectly within viewing, along with the log fireplace! š„šŖµ The four poster bed was also beyond luxurious with the most breath taking views from the window.
Arina & Alex were wonderful hosts providing a fully stocked fridge (ingredients for multiple hearty farm breakfasts - eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, avocado, yoghurt, muesli, fresh orange juice, coffee/tea) along with even arriving to a freshly baked loaf of bread (still hot with butter)! š There was even mini ice-creams in the freezer. The antipasto board Iād ordered as an extra treat was also 10/10. Theyād thought of everything and the place was impeccably clean.
I feel so inspired after staying at such a beautiful place to continue to replicate as many of the awe inspiring touches in both my home and routine from interior/planting inspiration to self care. Thank you for such a memorable stay. š
