I was a bit daunted by reviews when booking but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, you get what you pay for (and a bit more). It’s a hostel with private rooms, not a hotel. Once you realize that, you manage your expectations. It is in a prime location next to Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. It is near a metro station and there are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The room was adequate (I booked a single room). It was clean and comfortable. Inside the room was a small tv, a small refrigerator, a desk a twin bed and a small closet area. I wasn’t too concerned about the room because I didn’t intend to spend much time in there but it was comfortable enough for my stay. The bathrooms are shared but are privately used so you don’t actually share it with anyone while using. It was always clean and regularly checked (but of course as they are shared some people clear up after themselves better than others). There were several so I never needed to wait more than a few mins. The shower pressure was fine and the water temperature was perfect for me. Even though you pay for gym and facility use when you stay, I never used them so can’t comment on them. The checkin and check out processes were easy. The staff were all friend and helpful. The building felt safe and I never felt worried about anything. I don’t really have any negatives to comment on. There was a little noise at time from other residents but that’s beyond the control of the staff etc.

This is your no frills place for a place to lay your head. It was relatively clean, had all the necessary amenities, adequate breakfast, housekeeping. I would definitely stay here again. It gets the job done a peaceful rest without breaking the bank. The room had a slight odor not sure what it was but maybe they should do a deep clean to all the rooms and bathrooms. It could be just the one I was in. The toilet seat wasn’t cleaned that well but I survived.

The hotel looks old, but it is well maintained and belongs to the HILTON hotel. The room has no way to open the window, it is a bit wet. The hotel front desk Xiaohe is quite willing to chat. It was very convenient to book the airport where Red Dot’s car went.

The check in process was very quick and felt very rushed. There was no tour of the building so I was left to find things on my own. Thats my only complaint, other than that it was accurately descirbed.

The room we stayed in for the first two days was small, on a low floor, and had only one window facing the patio, so the room was not well lit. The order was changed to the 12th floor for the next seven days. The room was also larger and had windows on both walls. After opening the curtains, we could directly see the street view of W 71st Street and the view of Midtown, which felt good. The loud sound of the air conditioner was the only unacceptable problem, but this is a problem that many two- and three-star hotels in New York have, so we can only tolerate it. The quality of service varies from person to person. Some front desk staff are friendly and some have average service attitudes. There is not someone to clean every day. I cleaned it myself in the first few days. Later, I found that the sink was blocked. I called the front desk and someone was sent to fix it. In the following days, someone came to clean it continuously, so it is also important to make requests. Most of the service staff are of South American descent and speak Spanish. They may not be good at English, so communication is a bit difficult. The hotel is in a prime location, close to Central Park and the 72nd Street subway station, with convenient transportation. It is a quiet place in the bustling Upper West Side of Manhattan. It is highly recommended in terms of cost performance. Attached is the street view taken from a room on the 12th floor of the hotel and the hotel front taken from W72 Street.

I was fine with the hotel but it is not for everyone. The hotel is a bit dated. The room is quite simple but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was a good selection of tv channels. However, there is some deep cleaning required as the heater intake was VERY dusty (see image). The shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. The towels were fine for me, but they are quite thin and small. When checking in, I noticed shampoo packets were available at the front desk, but only hand soap packets were provided in the room. Water was not provided in the room nor was there a water dispenser to fill a water bottle. The hotel may want to consider providing a water dispenser in the lobby. The hotel description gives the impression that parking is not available though there was ample parking. It is near a highly developed area with lots of restaurants nearby. However, it is in a bit of a secluded area so it is best suited for travelers with a car. I was a bit disappointed that my room was not available at 430pm (check-in is at 3pm) but the hotel was short staffed that day. The staff I interacted with were polite and tried their best to be helpful. The main concern people may have is safety. The hotel is at the end of a quiet street and it is brightly lit outside of the hotel. However, many of the rooms open outdoors and there was no security staff visible at the hotel. It is certainly a budget hotel and many of the clients had a rough appearance. I was fine but some may not be comfortable, especially single female travelers. I would consider booking again but only for a quick and inexpensive stay.

Except for the remote location, the hotel has other advantages! Of course, 800🔪 for four nights, I don’t have any requirements for the location😁 1. The hotel is very new and the environment is clean, especially like the domestic All Seasons chain hotel, with simple decoration and staff cleaning every day. 2. Free breakfast! Oh my God‼ ️Such a cheap price also includes breakfast, and the breakfast is also delicious🥹The choice is quite rich! 3. The staff is very good! When I first came to check in, I noticed that there were Chinese people at the front desk, very friendly!
