The front desk staff were really nice and upgraded us to a suite. It was a huge space with two bathrooms, a large double bed, and a single bed. More than enough room for a family of three! The cleanliness was great, and the soundproofing was excellent, so we slept soundly at night. The room also had an oxygen machine, and you can ask the front desk for disposable oxygen tubes. If you're experiencing altitude sickness like headaches, timely oxygen use can help alleviate the symptoms. It's also conveniently located about 3KM from the Salt Lake, and there's easy parking in the back if you're driving.

The hotel is located near the Chaka Salt Lake. The hotel does offer room with oxygen supply for guests who are concern over high altitude sickness. We were there during low season and breakfast choices were very limited. I would like to comment on the wonderful service of the staff who went up and above to assist the us. The staff offered to take care of our laundry as timer on the dryer was not working and it's unclear when the laundry load can be dried. Would recommend this hotel to folks who plan to stay overnight in Chaka.

The hotel upgraded our room to a lake-view room, and the scenery was absolutely stunning! The room had central heating, so it was much better to open the window a bit. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic, even recommending local specialty dishes. We had a very comfortable stay, and the oxygen tank was a thoughtful touch.

This hotel truly deserves a five-star review for both its facilities and service. Due to a personal issue, my check-in had a small hiccup, but the hotel staff were incredibly warm and patient in helping me resolve it. They even upgraded me to a family room free of charge – the service was absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and bright, with a sofa bed for the kids to sleep on and a desk for them to study. The bathroom was spacious with a separate wet and dry area. There was even enough space near the clothes rack to open my luggage. The tea and coffee station was conveniently located next to the sink, with a large countertop perfect for toiletries, which was much better than having to put them on the sink itself. They also provided children's toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel also provided complimentary fruit and snacks, adding a lovely touch to the stay! The breakfast buffet offered local specialties, and the dining environment was comfortable – very satisfying! A shopping mall is just across the street, so I'm sure there are plenty of dining options there too. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

This was the best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my time in Qinghai. InterContinental really knows how to deliver! The service was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast spread was impressive. When checking in, the front desk thoroughly explained the hotel's amenities and even openly addressed potential issues, like ongoing renovations. Though they mentioned renovations, I didn't hear any disruptive noise. My only real issue was how incredibly hot and dry the underfloor heating made the room; even with the humidifier and fan on, my nose was bleeding from the dryness, but honestly, that's more of a personal problem. The bedding was super comfortable, and they thoughtfully labeled the soft and firm pillows. Even with a bit of altitude sickness, I still managed to get a good night's sleep!

The hotel had a gym, cafe, and a morning breakfast buffet. The room was large and gave a nice view of the city. The staff helped with any questions or requests. They helped me setup their address in the Chinese delivery app *******. They also turned up the heating in the room when I requested that too. The buffet is norming 58 RMB per day, for the food offered this is quite high. The bread was stale and a lot of the food was cold or had an old taste too it. Luckily I was there in the winter when it was free and had no cost. Perhaps in the summer with the cost of 58 RMB the food is fresher. However, I would say that the food available had a lot of variety, with both Chinese and Western options. Room: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Location: 8/10 Buffet: 6.5/10 Now I would upload images of the hotel but I only filmed it and didn't take photos and trip.com only allows photos.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located on Qiyi Road in the east district of the city, offering convenient transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. The room was spacious and clean, with new facilities and stable air conditioning and hot water. The service was attentive, always responsive to requests and quick to act. The free laundry and parking were a thoughtful touch, and the Halal breakfast was a welcome bonus. The price is budget-friendly, and the experience easily rivals more expensive hotels. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Xining.

A hotel with a high cost performance in Lenghu Town, the overall environment is clean and tidy, the decoration is simple and atmospheric, the room is spacious and the layout is reasonable. The sound insulation effect is good, the night is quiet, and the rest quality is very good. The front desk service is thoughtful, the check-in and check-out are efficient, and the details are full. In the barren Gobi town, it is especially rare to have such perfect accommodation conditions, convenient travel, perfect facilities, full cost performance, this is the first choice for Lenghu tourism, and I will choose to stay next time.

Absolutely fantastic! Hands down the best Hampton I've ever stayed at. From the bespectacled manager at the front desk who helped with our luggage on arrival, to the friendly chef preparing noodles at the ADD restaurant, and even the auntie in the laundry room, everyone left a truly memorable impression on us. We were so impressed, we ended up extending our stay for three nights. Every single staff member genuinely cares for the hotel, looks after and satisfies every guest, and goes above and beyond to resolve any issues they might have. Even though I'm not one to usually leave reviews, I felt compelled to praise them. Hope to see you again someday! Tashi Delek 🙏

Extremely satisfied! The front desk offered a complimentary upgrade to a huge suite and thoughtfully provided two oxygen concentrators, maximizing comfort. Upon departure, they even gave us a special souvenir. The attention to detail in their service was so heartwarming; we felt right at home throughout our stay. It's definitely worth staying at this place when visiting Chaka Salt Lake!

Tthe_wanderlust_jellyWas told I am given a free room upgrade, but honestly I can't tell the difference. Also the room in the listing image was larger and brighter but the actual room I received was extremely rather grim looking, not to mention it doesn't even look like half the room size in the listing image. I also can't seem to adjust the aircon temp as it will remain at room temperature no matter what I set, however xining is quite cooling in general so it's still acceptable. In the room I was give, the glass panel at the washroom side had a severely cracked side which seem like it will break if I had closed the glass door too hard. I took a video immediately before using the toilet in case it really does get shattered, but luckily it did not Very unsafe nevertheless. The shower was the worst, every night I had to gamble if it will be cold or scalding hot water. I set the shower value slightly towards the warm side, and the water became scalding hot within seocnds, and if I move it to the cold side, it became freezing cold within seconds. Even if I set it exactly in the middle, it will give me either one of the extreme temperature. Had to keep adjusting from hot to cold so that it stay at a comfortable and safe temp range. The toilet bowl flush in a very stupid manner too, by first flooding the bowl from bottom up, this means that if you took a dump and it's a slightly sticky one, it's gonna stick. The electric kettle was so noisy when turned on that it sound like a train passing right beside my room. And speaking of noise, the sound proofing of the room was one of the worst of every single hotel I stayed in before. You can literally hear new occupants dragging their luggage or family chattering non stop right after they exit the lift. FYI, my room was literally the furthest away. Every time your neighbors from 3 room away turn on their tap water, you can hear it, even if that's like 4am in the night. The hairdryer is a safety hazard too. Tried to use it once and after plugging in and turning it on, smoke immediately came oozing out of it, so I immediately switched it off and remove the plug. Never used it since. Oh yes one last thing I have to say is that as a hotel PLEASE NEVER USE MOVEMENT OR VOICE CONTROLLED LIGHTINGS. While I wash up every day, I had to keep waving my hands like an ***** every few minutes in order to prevent the lights from going out. The detection is sooooo off that unless there's a huge action at the correct spot, it will not turn the lights back. This was absolutely annoyance. However the things I mentioned above are although not welcomed, but can be tolerated. Personally, the only thing I really love about this was the free tea. And that is also a highly recommended must try. I believe that's ******* black tea which is also a local specialty. I regret not trying earlier because at the latter of my trip, I no longer pass by stores that sells ******* black tea. Recommendation to the hotel is include a way to buy some of this tea. Overall, I will only recommend the hotel to someone who do not have any other choice or have a lower budget in mind.

GGuest UserForgot to take photos, but the hotel was great, and the location was excellent, right next to Nanguan Street. For this price, you'd easily pay 400+ yuan in mainland China; I guess it's so cheap because it's the off-season. The service was fantastic; the front desk staff and security guards always greeted us warmly. They also provided local tea, anything we needed like earplugs, and even gave us two yogurts. The only downside was that the underfloor heating was too hot. As someone from out of town, I'm not used to it in winter, and it made it hard to sleep. Even with the windows open at night, it was still sweltering.

GGuest UserFive-star review | Xining Xinbo Hotel (Caojiapu Airport Branch) This time I brought my two kids to Qinghai, and because of our itinerary, I specifically chose this hotel close to the airport. It turns out this decision was incredibly smart! Definitely a five-star review. Location & Transportation: The hotel is very close to Caojiapu Airport and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice. Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly. Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring. Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated. Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. Next time I fly to Xining, I'll choose this place again! Recommendation Index: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

SShiyuedeguangThe hotel is located in the city center with convenient transportation, and it's next to Shuijing Lane, offering plenty of dining options. The hotel staff are warm and attentive, and there are Want Want snacks available throughout the hotel, with small treats provided daily. However, the facilities and equipment are indeed quite outdated; hopefully, they can be upgraded soon.

MM345863****Choosing the Park Plaza Hotel for my Xining trip was a fantastic decision; from the moment I stepped into the lobby until check-out, I was continuously impressed. This is absolutely a top recommendation for accommodation when traveling in high-altitude regions! As part of the Jin Jiang chain, the hotel's quality is outstanding. Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the grand and elegant decor. The bright, clean environment, combined with the front desk staff's warm smiles, instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful; the staff were soft-spoken, answered all my questions, and professionally handed over the room card with both hands. The whole process was smooth, and they even patiently answered my questions about local attractions – truly a great first impression. My room experience exceeded all expectations! The spacious room, around 50 square meters, felt incredibly open. The smart home system made everything convenient, with voice control for curtains and lights being super easy to use. The Simmons mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring a restful sleep whether I was tired from sightseeing or a business trip. What was most thoughtful, especially considering the dry high-altitude climate, was the in-room humidifier and complimentary hot compress salt packs. After a day of exploring, relaxing with these really melted away all my fatigue. The bathroom had a dry-wet separation design, and the international brand toiletries were reassuring to use. The coffee machine with capsule coffee and complimentary soda water at the tea station were also lovely touches – every detail showed genuine care. The amenities were also incredibly comprehensive! The gym on the 20th floor had excellent equipment, and the self-service laundry room was clean, tidy, and regularly disinfected, which is so practical for long-term travelers. Dining was another highlight; the Tingyuan Halal Restaurant on the 3rd floor served authentic Qinghai specialties. The hand-grabbed lamb, stir-fried noodles (kàng guō), and traditional yogurt were delicious. Enjoying a barbecue in the evening breeze was incredibly pleasant. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety, ensuring a great start to the day. The hotel's location is also excellent, with convenient transportation nearby, making it easy to get to the train station or city attractions. Whether for family trips, business travel, or romantic getaways, the diverse room types can meet every need. I honestly couldn't find any faults during my stay; both comfort and value for money were exceptional. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xining!

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay at the Mehood Hotel in Xining. The location is excellent — perfect for a stop before and after our trip to Yushu. As with many centrally located hotels, drop-off and pick-up are a short walk from the entrance, but this wasn’t an issue for us. The lifts are shared and can get a bit busy at times, but once on the hotel floor, it’s peaceful and quiet. The breakfast offers a good variety, mostly Chinese dishes, but the staff were understanding and didn’t mind us bringing extra food for the children. The staff were consistently friendly and especially kind to our kids, which made our stay even more pleasant. I really appreciated the laundry room with washing machines — being able to do our own laundry was such a bonus during our travels. The air conditioning wasn’t working but the staff quickly moved us to a cooler room on the other side of the hotel, which we really appreciated. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Xining. We’d happily come back!

GGuest UserExceeding expectations, the hotel is like a park, a quiet place in the city center. Three-story buildings are scattered in the park, with a patio in the middle. The general service desk is in Building 8, dining is in Building 9, and accommodation is in Building 7. It seems that the shuttle bus can take guests to the room after checking in. The indoor furniture seems to be solid wood, equipped with desktop computers and welcome fruits. Breakfast has freshly made ramen, the chili oil is fragrant but not spicy, the ramen is thin, chewy and smooth, the soup base is mellow, and there are special yogurt and barley cakes. Looking forward to staying again.
