The facilities are a bit old, but the room was quite spacious. You can see Mount Fuji right from the hotel, and every time I looked back while walking around, I was treated to beautiful views of Mount Fuji. There aren't many restaurants nearby; I tried a couple of places but they all said they were full when they saw I was a foreigner. Eventually, I had dinner at a family-run diner – it was very simple but still an experience. The hotel breakfast was better than I expected, prepared by two elderly people. It was a very Japanese meal, which was a nice cultural experience. If you want coffee, you need to ask the grandma working there.

The environment is clean, and the service attitude is great. The owner is very kind; they upgraded me from a quad room to a single room. Plus, you can rent bicycles, which is super convenient.

I was pleasantly surprised to catch a partial glimpse of the top of Mount Fuji from my room, even though there were buildings obstructing part of the view. The room facilities were very new and well-equipped. I was particularly delighted that the room provided an electric grill, perfect for tabletop BBQ; we bought wagyu beef and fresh vegetables from the supermarket every night to grill. There was also a microwave, which was very convenient. The self-check-in process was smooth and easy. Shopping and dining options nearby were fantastic; there's a convenience store just a few minutes away, and across the street, there's a row of restaurants. Paid hot springs are also available in the vicinity.

The hotel's location is a major plus, just a one-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. This meant no dragging luggage around after arriving, and it was super convenient for catching the bus early the next morning. You can even see Mount Fuji right from your window (as pictured), and it's about 500 meters from the famous Lawson convenience store (as pictured). We walked to Oike Park in about 15 minutes and enjoyed an impressive fireworks display there. The owner is a kind old man who can speak simple English and even a little Chinese, which was more than enough for check-in and check-out procedures. The room is small and doesn't have a private bathroom, but both the room and the shared toilets were impeccably clean, which was reassuring. There's also a public bath on the fourth floor. It's perfect for a short one-night stay.

As expected for a B&B, the room has tatami floors and is quite spacious. The overall house is a bit old and the facilities are relatively outdated. There is a public hot spring bath on the first floor with very good water temperature. The location is a 15-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, but the location is good, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's also very close to walk to the Kawaguchiko Bridge. The old lady runs the business alone and is very friendly and kind. She gave us snacks and flashlights, which was very heartwarming. She also arranged a mountain view room for us, where we could see Mount Fuji, which was a real surprise.

Even though it's a ryokan-style hotel, the private room was quite large and spacious. It had its own bathroom and sink inside the room. The bedding was a futon on the floor, and yukata robes were provided. The shared bathrooms, separated by gender, were outside the room. They were large enough for 3-4 people to shower at once and could be locked. There was also a large soaking tub in the bathroom. But the view of Mount Fuji? Absolutely unbeatable! Especially in the morning with the golden light, Fuji-san looked incredibly beautiful.

It's a perfect location if you plan to stay in Kawaguchiko area. The staff are very polite and they will offer you onsen for free during upon checking in. The room is very spacious and clean, they also have a bike rental for 500 yen per day.

It was an incredible stay. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They offer pick-up and drop-off from the nearest station, which makes getting there very convenient, and it’s easy to rent a bicycle to explore the area. The town itself is quite quiet at night with not much to do, but during the day you can walk around or rent a bike to visit nearby places. Overall, I definitely recommend staying here.

Although the facilities are old, the sanitation is very clean. There is a young man and two older men at the front desk who are very enthusiastic. One of them wears glasses and speaks English. It is only 1 minute away from Asahigaoka Station, with convenient transportation. There is a convenience store in 2 minutes on foot and the lake in 3 minutes on foot. However, there are almost no restaurants nearby. There is a Fujiwara Izakaya, which is best booked in advance during the peak season. The hotel has a bathhouse, which is not big, but very comfortable. There was basically no one on the second day of my stay, so it can be considered a private bath. The hotel has a curry dinner in the shape of Mount Fuji, but you have to wait for 20 minutes. The breakfast is raw egg rice and miso soup. Because I was going to participate in the marathon, the hotel decided to provide free dinner that day and breakfast the next day.

It's has very cosy feel local Japanese Ryokan(BB) style and we love it. Not luxury, not to expensive but suitable if you looking for Ryokan in Fuji Mt. area. Included nice easy breakfast, not big for Americans but it's delicious. The location is not recommend for walking to, if you drive a car it will be perfect (free parking) Some may say it looks old, but to me I would say it looks vintage and classic you couldn't find in the city. *Only 10mins drive to famous cafe”paper moon”
