Fujishan Station is a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient to travel. The page may not be clear enough about the facilities. When booking the room, it was considered a homestay because of the cheap price, but it was actually a business hotel. There was a separate bathroom in the room. The room was small, but the environment was clean and the price was very high. I only stayed for one night this time. Have the opportunity to stay again.
They provide good service and helpful when asking for direction to different destinations. The environment is clean and quiet. Best point is can see mountains Fuji from your balcony.
Overall, the services is good and recommend this hotel if you want to come to Mount Fuji.
Remember to bring your own breakfast as well.
Quiet, clean, and welcoming, it's a 16-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and a 17-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Bridge. There are three restaurants right next to the hotel, and a great ramen shop not far away.
We stayed with four friends and our room was spacious and comfortable.
We could see Mt. Fuji from the window and enjoyed watching its appearance change with the hour.
Each room also had its own private bath, which we appreciated being able to choose the time we wanted to bathe.
The mascot cats were also cute and soothing.
We had a friendly and fun chat with the owner after bathing, and the breakfast was also very satisfying.
This is a pension we'd like to stay at again.

My best stay in Japan. The scenery is amazing (all photos are within my room). The host is a pair of lovely couple, they offered us a ride to nearby event place in the evening. Food is great. Great hospitality. Good location, I took express bus from Hinaro (5 min walk away) to Tokyo next day morning. Please pay a visit if you travelling there!
I had an amazing experience staying at this place! From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making check-in smooth and easy. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making me feel right at home.
One of the things I appreciated most was the attention to detail – from the comfortable bed and quality amenities to the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and local attractions.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely come back again. Thank you for such a warm and memorable experience!
The front desk staff is Chinese. The service is really good. There is a free shuttle to Kawaguchiko Station (book in advance). The washing machine and dryer are very helpful. The tatami is also very clean. I will come again next time.
I booked the Fujisan view room and it is absolutely worth it. Amazing view from the room and their comforter is soooo fluffy. They provide yukata(?) toothbrush, water heater, and green tea in the room. They also have clothing iron if you need it. Only thing we wish they have is a mirror in the room but the toilet was near so I guess it is fine. The inn is right in front of Kawaguchiko station so its also very convenient. The receptionist lady also offer to help me call Yamato when I asked her about an issue I have with my luggage delivery which saved me a lot of headache. The public bath was amazing as you can have a view of Fujisan while bathing.
Lake Kawaguchi at the foot of Mount Fuji has beautiful scenery. On a sunny day, Mount Fuji looks great in photos. The accommodation is very close to the station, only a few minutes' walk away. I would recommend it to other friends who come to Japan.

PPpemikaI arrived late at night from Fuji Station and had to pay 3,700 yen for a taxi. I was surprised when I got there because the house was located on a hill and the road was very dark. I asked the taxi driver to wait while I walked down to check. Luckily, the lights were on and I found the host waiting to welcome us warmly, even though it was already late.
Owner had already prepared hot water and asked what time we would like to take a bath. She even guided us to a small onsen. The host was very attentive and kind.
Although the place looked a bit scary at night from the outside, the inside was very warm and cozy. When I woke up the next morning, I felt completely rested. The room was clean, and the host’s hospitality made the whole experience feel so worthwhile. I felt like the money I spent was totally worth it—it gave me not only comfort but also beautiful memories.
The atmosphere was like staying in a countryside vacation home—quiet, peaceful, and heartwarming.
If you’re planning to rent a car, this is definitely a place I’d recommend. There’s a parking space, and it’s not crowded at all.
I truly want to recommend this place!
EEmmanuel chan 8One of the characteristics of a traditional hot spring hotel is that the shower time is from 4 to 9 o'clock. If you don't pay attention, it will be awkward.
Among other things, the food is quite good and relatively average, but it is more difficult to communicate.
The hotel is relatively remote and there is no shuttle, but it is probably one of the hotels closest to Lake Kawaguchi. You can walk to Lake Kawaguchi in 3 minutes. The scenery is beautiful and you can see Mount Fuji directly.

He has special red slippers, they are so special
There is a convenience store across the road, how convenient is it?
If you have a car, there will be no problem. If you don’t have a car, there will be some inconvenience.

SSMO32Booked last minute the night before. Great price and location. Low price was the main reason for booking. The shock and big surprise was the 11 out of 10 service and TLC I got from the owner Marie. I stayed in a room with its own bath shower toilet. Best customer careI have ever had even compared to a high end hotel for $200 a night. Yes you read that right. Something about these smaller hotels and the quality of service can't be matched. Very clean and very cute stay for exploring the Fuji mountain area. She speaks Chinese, Japanese and some English. And an amazing cook. Wow I was thankful I chose to eat at the hotel and not out somewhere else. My Bed was also very comfortable. Great sleep. It was More comfortable than the Disney Hilton Tokyo bay for $200 a night. Terrible beds.

Everything here has been an amazing experience.
I’ve had the chance to meet many international friends,
exchanging and experiencing different cultures in our exploration of Japan.
The staff feel like brothers and sisters —
they help with everything, big or small.
It feels like we’re all living together as one big family.
Before 5 a.m., everyone wakes up to head out for the sunrise.
We go out to capture the sunrise over Mt. Fuji.
When we return, we share the highlights of our day.
This place is filled with the warmth of a real home.
Looking forward to coming back next time.
I’m the friend from Taiwan who shared some little things with you.
I hope you enjoy the small keychains that represent life in Taiwan.
Taiwan welcomes you!

GGuest UserA beautiful quaint guesthouse with a goat pet. Ben san and Kaori san were great host. I had dinner at the guest house which was beautifully presented. It was a 5 course italian theme meal with coffee. Thr gurst house is a littlr further from train station but pick up can be arranged. There were many restaurants within walking distance from the guest house. Several Walking and hiking trails are doable from guesthouse. The walls were not totally soundproof, but no issue in japan. My room had a sun roof which was great but it also woke me up with the sun light shinning through early morning. May not be a bad thing as it helped tp start the day early.
SSTReceived the instructions to check in days before our stay, and instructions are super clear.
The house is very clean, and comes with everything we need - stove, washer and other basics. Ground floor is the living hall and bathroom, upstairs there’s one bedroom and outer area where are floor bed are placed.
We went there with average temperature of 4 degrees so the floor were freezing cold and it took a while to activate the heat.
Location wise pretty good, right opposite there’s a 7-11, and down the street 10-15 mins walk there’s the Hikawa Clock Shop, but we don’t see any restaurant nearby maybe because we were there during New Year closure
KkimkimujintaniIt takes about 15 minutes to walk from Kofu Station. There was a staff inside. (Recently, Japanese guest houses are corona and there are many unmanned places where staff do not correspond.) The staff response was normal. The building is also like that, but the building was old and it was a Russian style building that reminded me of the old building when I traveled to Russia from Japan.
