Open late arrived at 9:30pm the lady receptionist offered me to go get freshened up and offered places to eat aall in walking distance at 10:30pm even has a kiosk outside the hotel very safe area for solo female travellers and a bus 15metres away that will take you to Athens for around $5aus including catching the metro train to stagima
At night, the subway bus stopped in Athens. From the airport, take the No. 95 bus to the Constitution Square and then take a taxi to the hotel for about 40 or 50 euros. During the day, you can take a small train for about five minutes from the hotel (the departure time is relatively long) It is quite convenient to transfer to the main city for about 20 to 30 minutes by subway. There is a supermarket next to the hotel and shopping is convenient.
The manager is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It's a shame about the shared bathroom, because when I read the description, I understood that the bathroom was private, and I personally don't like shared spaces with other people. However, I give him at least a 4 because he's really kind.
The hotel is super clean and situated in central, close to tourist attraction places. 24hrs front desk service and the receptionists were amazing, kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay with my families. Everything we needed was available , such as refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, strainer etc.
I recommend ERMASS to anyone looking for nice apartment to stay in Athens.
The hostel was new, clean and retro. The Kitchen was awesome and convenient to cook and store food.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they had great vibes overall.
Really enjoyed the stay with the arcade machines and everything being really new, really enhanced the trip overall after a long day of exploring.
Highly recommend the stay at Retroverse Hostel.
Oh, surprisingly, they readily allowed me to check in early!! I am very satisfied with this alone👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻My flight was delayed by more than 3 hours, so I was really tired, but they let me check in early in the morning, so I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. It was so nice to go to the Acropolis and come back~ If you pay by card, you will be charged 2.45 EUR including VAT for accommodation~ The air conditioner and refrigerator were also cool on a hot day~ The only regret was that the space in front of the toilet in the bathroom was too narrow. I think it was because I booked the cheapest room. In terms of location, it was very convenient because the bus stop number 12 was just 1 minute away. My trip to Jordan was canceled, so I suddenly came to Athens as a base for a day, and I was able to rest comfortably with the early check-in. Thank you again for the early check-in.

Bedbox Hostel is a gem!💎 As a 32-year-old solo male traveler, I found it perfect for my winter Athens adventure. The location is super central, near Monastiraki metro, making it easy to explore. The dorms were clean and the beds were comfy with privacy curtains. The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Free luggage storage and a well-equipped kitchen were great facilities. Overall, it is a fantastic and affordable stay in the heart of Athens. Highly recommend! 👍
- Great location, very close (less than 5 min walk) to the ferry gate needed to reach Naxos and Paros (which is opposite a great value bakery). Perfect place to stay before an early morning ferry.
- Very kind and helpful receptionist who went out of his way to welcome us despite us arriving close to midnight. He even gave us tips for our return visit to Athens.
- Clean, spacious room with good water pressure and strong air con.
- WiFi also worked well.
- We didn't experience the loud noise from a nearby club that other people mention in reviews for this place but it was a week night that we stayed.
- Only note for improvement would be for the curtains to cover the full window and for no plastic cups for water in reception and reusable toiletries in the bathroom so the hotel can be more environmentally friendly.
- We didn't have breakfast here so can't comment on the food.
Excellent hotel , I recommend it , very close to the sea , the garden of the hotel is beautiful.
Some little problems with the internet connection!!

GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind.
However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts.
And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well.
But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.
YYuDI decided to extend my stay because the cost performance was quite good. It was good that the cleanliness, facilities and amenities of the hotel were minimal.
It is necessary to be careful because it is said that only cash is accepted when paying tax to the accommodation fee at the front desk.
TtarchieI arrived around 1 am and was worried the hotel might be closed for the night. However they have 24hr service so you can check in at any time. The women who worked at nights was very helpful and told me to ask her if I needed to find anything and she’ll tell me where to go. The room itself was clean and came with all you need for the price I payed. The location is amazing, right in the centre and a short walk away from most of the main attractions that you’ll want to be seeing.

PPHILLIP JAMESThis hotel represents good value for money in Athens. I selected a room with a delightful balcony and interesting street views - there is also tiny park opposite. The desk was fine to complete several hours of work. The air-conditioned worked extremely well. I also appreciated the mini fridge in the room, which many hotels with Athens don't have.
However, the bathroom was little tiny. Its about 10 min walk to Omonia Metro station, which offers a direct line to the port area. There is an excellent supermarket about 10 min walk from the hotel. This area feels more like the real Athens, rather than hotels in tourist zones. This zone has wonderful multicultural feel. In the same street of this hotel, there are excellent hairdressers for $5 Euro a cut and fantastic stores to buy discount clothes and bags. I would certainly recommended this hotel for travellers that appreciate value for money and with great amenities like balcony and fridge.
GGuest UserBooked into this hotel by Trip as they had booked me into the wrong hotel- another story- on arrival the woman tried to charge me following trip having emailed me confirmation of payment by them following their blunder with the pervious booking. I got the impression she thought she could make a quick killing due to the confusion and me being in a tired/stressed state due to the booking blunder by Trip Which they had sorted after a little faffing around.
I was having non of it and she eventually relented. from thereon it was ok-The rest of the staff were ok and although it was inferior to the hotel I had actually booked it did the job. Basic hotel for a short stay, no facilities really but close to the ferry port and Metro for Athens. The room had a fridge which was handy and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, it is right next to the market which is interesting.
Make sure you have proof of payment if you choose to stay
BBazillionTruly 5/5. This place is everything. A perfect compliment that will made our Athens stay!
Lovely staff could not do enough for us and the location of 4m walk to the Acropolis metro and 15m to the Acropolis hill was unbeatable for us. The area was safe albeit touristy but we found locals spots with good prices an easy stroll away. Especiallly as the hotel was easy to find. We took a triple room and our friend said the sofa bed was very comfy. The room was spacious and quiet. The shower was exceptional and the bathroom modern and clean. Every day the staff refreshed our room and washed the dishes. The kitchenette included a microwave, industrial strength sandwich press and table and chairs in the bay window which allowed us to relax in the morning and evenings with our own snacks and beverages.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Very big thanks to the staff and owners.

Nnabiki2The location is very close to a main square and many streets lined with restaurants, also walkable to important sites. The location also provides a nice view from the rooftop bar (see the photo). The location is great! I marked the it low because being so central and close to all the main restaurants and bars also meant that there were extremely loud drunk people yelling in the street all night long. Bring your ear plugs or find somewhere that’s slightly farther away from the main drag. Clean and tidy, somewhat comfortable, there are lockers in the room if you bring your own lock. If you plan to drop off your bag before check in or leave it after, there are storage lockers for a fee that are somewhat confusing to operate. The front desk attendant assisted me.
