It was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind. However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts. And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well. But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.

I just spent 4 nights at Bedbox Hostel in Athens, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is super convenient, the beds are comfy and clean, and the common areas have a really friendly vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great local tips. It's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it for backpackers and budget travelers.

I stayed in a single room on floor 4. The room was clean and had a window. The windows opened. There was a new fridge in the room that was fantastic and I was able to have ice cold drinks. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linens provided. The cleaner was very nice. There was enough room for all my bags, it was snug but very good for the price. I ate breakfast every morning. It was a really nice breakfast room. The breakfast is basic but everything is very fresh and nicely presented. Floor 1 had a strong scent of tobacco and I assumed it was the smoking floor. Floor 4 where I stayed was very quiet and I didn’t smell smoke at all. As a non smoking so traveller I have to have theses needs met! The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is central it’s only a 20 min walk to all the Athens highlights. It’s a great walk too! Lots of interesting shops! The Archeological museum is only a short walk from the hotel so well placed. The train station main line is only 15 min walk too. There’s a great place to have a full dinner just round the corner for around 12 euros which is great value. I loved the shopping in the area. A very comfy stay I would definitely come back. As a solo female traveller I felt quite safe at the hotel. It is a basic clean hotel and at a budget price. The images attached are of the things mentioned including pictures of the room.

The hotel is located in a nice place. All the major attractions are 1 - 3 metro stops away, which hardly takes 10-15 mins from the gate of the hotel to the gate of the attraction. The staff is really nice, the person who was doing morning shift on 22nd gave me an early checkin, very kind of him. The lady in the night shift, I think her name is Lana, she is also very helpful. Caffe and restaurant near the hotel are nice, multiple options are there. Now coming to the condition of the hotel - it’s not up to the basic standards. The rooms are very very old, the bathroom is in a pathetic condition ie old fittings, old marble (worst ). The building is in a mess. It looks like the hotel is not renovated since the time it was built. The lifts are scary. The lights in the room are dull. It’s better to book a hostel than this hotel in the same price point. There is a smell of chemicals on the Hotel floors. The hotels next to this hotel are way way better, there are 3 4 of them in the same lane. PS - incase you want to use the aircon they’re gonna charge you 5 euros per day , though I really doubt that the aircon will work, but still. The heater in the room was also not working. In the night you don’t get hot water, it will only come in the morning.

It's missing energy plugs near the bed for charging phone. The room was clean but the shower was too small, no handles, nothing to dry the feet after shower so the room got always wet and with a weird smell. The bed they put me was upper, in front of the air conditioning, i was freezing during the night, couldn't sleep properly. The staff is great.

The hotel's location is fantastic; you can walk or take a short bus ride to any attraction. It's right in the city center of Athens. The room size was decent. The owner speaks basic English. The cleaning staff were very nice, but they finish work at 12 PM. So, if we were in the hotel at noon, they couldn't clean the room in the afternoon. Our room had a view of an important local landmark, which was great.

This is the hotel we returned to after traveling from Athens to Italy and then back to Athens. I absolutely loved the terrace. The sunset view from the 7th-floor terrace at dusk was so beautiful that I booked it again. I loved Greece so much that if I ever come back, I definitely want to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is clean and offers a good price, with helpful staff who can even boil water for you. Its location near the National Archaeological Museum is a major plus. However, be aware that the surrounding area is a little bit dirty, and there are homeless people. Also, the shower in the bathroom is quite small.

Arriving in Athens late at night, I took the X95 bus from the airport to the last stop, then followed the map for about 10 minutes to reach my hotel. There was no one around, and I felt safe traveling alone as a woman. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, and the staff speaks English. If you need to go out, you must leave your room key with the staff and retrieve it upon your return. You can access your room via the stairs or the attached elevator. The room wasn't large, but it was tidy, clean, and adequate. It had a full-length mirror, a hairdryer, a small refrigerator, and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The sink in the bathroom was really small, and the water flow was a bit slow. However, the shower had stable water pressure, warm enough water, good drainage, and the showerhead could be adjusted, which was excellent. Overall, it's a good value hotel in central Athens!
