Open late arrived at 9:30pm the lady receptionist offered me to go get freshened up and offered places to eat aall in walking distance at 10:30pm even has a kiosk outside the hotel very safe area for solo female travellers and a bus 15metres away that will take you to Athens for around $5aus including catching the metro train to stagima
30 euros a night hotel, at the foot of the ** mountain, 30, 40 minutes drive from the city center, the price is too high, the facilities are old and I don’t think it is, the Greek boss is not good in English, but the win is friendly, and it also catches up with the snow, so I stayed decisively for 10 days, 12 days of leisure time is too good

Booked this hotel as my friend needed a nap from the heat.
It's in the Arab/Indian/Pakistani side of Athens (I say this as a Birmingham South Asian) so might not be everyone's cup of tea but felt like Small Heath in Birmingham to us 😂
The receptionist was extremely friendly and couldn't fault her.
The room was quite dingey and it was a shared bathroom.
Great for an emergency but wouldn't spend longer than a quick nap there

Bedbox Hostel is a gem!💎 As a 32-year-old solo male traveler, I found it perfect for my winter Athens adventure. The location is super central, near Monastiraki metro, making it easy to explore. The dorms were clean and the beds were comfy with privacy curtains. The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Free luggage storage and a well-equipped kitchen were great facilities. Overall, it is a fantastic and affordable stay in the heart of Athens. Highly recommend! 👍
A lovely place to stay close to the metro ony 200 mtrs 3 min walk up a slight hill to the end of the street and across the main road and your there the train takes you anywhere you want to go you just may need to change over at the appropriate station. The staff at the hotel are great very friendly and helpful. All amenities are as stated the swimming pool is under renovations at present. But all the other amenities that are listed are their. Its a bit out of town but so worth the stay. The rooms are clean big and comfortable the ensuite is clean and well maintained . I give this hotel 4 stars .
The hotel is located on the east side, overlooking the sunrise; breakfast is good, there are fruits; the hotel is very clean, the front desk lady is enthusiastic, will inform the play to pay attention; about 5 minutes from the central station, convenient transportation, about 8 minutes from the Blue Top Church, opposite There are several supermarkets, which are relatively convenient, and 3-4 minutes from Fira Town, the meal is too good to solve.

TtarchieI arrived around 1 am and was worried the hotel might be closed for the night. However they have 24hr service so you can check in at any time. The women who worked at nights was very helpful and told me to ask her if I needed to find anything and she’ll tell me where to go. The room itself was clean and came with all you need for the price I payed. The location is amazing, right in the centre and a short walk away from most of the main attractions that you’ll want to be seeing.

PPHILLIP JAMESThis hotel represents good value for money in Athens. I selected a room with a delightful balcony and interesting street views - there is also tiny park opposite. The desk was fine to complete several hours of work. The air-conditioned worked extremely well. I also appreciated the mini fridge in the room, which many hotels with Athens don't have.
However, the bathroom was little tiny. Its about 10 min walk to Omonia Metro station, which offers a direct line to the port area. There is an excellent supermarket about 10 min walk from the hotel. This area feels more like the real Athens, rather than hotels in tourist zones. This zone has wonderful multicultural feel. In the same street of this hotel, there are excellent hairdressers for $5 Euro a cut and fantastic stores to buy discount clothes and bags. I would certainly recommended this hotel for travellers that appreciate value for money and with great amenities like balcony and fridge.
GGuest UserBooked into this hotel by Trip as they had booked me into the wrong hotel- another story- on arrival the woman tried to charge me following trip having emailed me confirmation of payment by them following their blunder with the pervious booking. I got the impression she thought she could make a quick killing due to the confusion and me being in a tired/stressed state due to the booking blunder by Trip Which they had sorted after a little faffing around.
I was having non of it and she eventually relented. from thereon it was ok-The rest of the staff were ok and although it was inferior to the hotel I had actually booked it did the job. Basic hotel for a short stay, no facilities really but close to the ferry port and Metro for Athens. The room had a fridge which was handy and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, it is right next to the market which is interesting.
Make sure you have proof of payment if you choose to stay
BBazillionTruly 5/5. This place is everything. A perfect compliment that will made our Athens stay!
Lovely staff could not do enough for us and the location of 4m walk to the Acropolis metro and 15m to the Acropolis hill was unbeatable for us. The area was safe albeit touristy but we found locals spots with good prices an easy stroll away. Especiallly as the hotel was easy to find. We took a triple room and our friend said the sofa bed was very comfy. The room was spacious and quiet. The shower was exceptional and the bathroom modern and clean. Every day the staff refreshed our room and washed the dishes. The kitchenette included a microwave, industrial strength sandwich press and table and chairs in the bay window which allowed us to relax in the morning and evenings with our own snacks and beverages.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Very big thanks to the staff and owners.
GGuest User- Great location, very close (less than 5 min walk) to the ferry gate needed to reach Naxos and Paros (which is opposite a great value bakery). Perfect place to stay before an early morning ferry.
- Very kind and helpful receptionist who went out of his way to welcome us despite us arriving close to midnight. He even gave us tips for our return visit to Athens.
- Clean, spacious room with good water pressure and strong air con.
- WiFi also worked well.
- We didn't experience the loud noise from a nearby club that other people mention in reviews for this place but it was a week night that we stayed.
- Only note for improvement would be for the curtains to cover the full window and for no plastic cups for water in reception and reusable toiletries in the bathroom so the hotel can be more environmentally friendly.
- We didn't have breakfast here so can't comment on the food.
Nnabiki2The location is very close to a main square and many streets lined with restaurants, also walkable to important sites. The location also provides a nice view from the rooftop bar (see the photo). The location is great! I marked the it low because being so central and close to all the main restaurants and bars also meant that there were extremely loud drunk people yelling in the street all night long. Bring your ear plugs or find somewhere that’s slightly farther away from the main drag. Clean and tidy, somewhat comfortable, there are lockers in the room if you bring your own lock. If you plan to drop off your bag before check in or leave it after, there are storage lockers for a fee that are somewhat confusing to operate. The front desk attendant assisted me.
GGuest UserThis hostel is located in a bustling area of the city center. There are many bars and touristy restaurants nearby but the authentic stuff is only 10 minutes away. You get a great view of the Acropolis from the rooftop.
You can get some work done in the kitchen area but there isn’t dedicated work area. No gym either. Breakfast is available for a fee.
The hostel is very clean and has good lighting. The bathrooms and showers are in each room. Air conditioning is available as well. The lockers are also in the rooms and secured by tapping your key card.
The price is excellent for the quality. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Athens.

BBecci WalkerThis was my first time staying in a hostel, as well as staying in a 6 bed mixed dorm, so I was a bit unsure at first but that changed from the second I got there. The staff and everyone that I met there were just great and so friendly! The rooftop bar was simply amazing! Not even a 2 seconds up there and you meet a whole bunch of new friends from all over the world. Oh! Not to forget the great view you get of the Acropolis from the roof top at night!
Without a doubt, I will be staying here again when I come back to Athens! Thankyou for making my solo trip here something to remember
