2-Star Hotels in Uusimaa, Finland

We stayed in a triple room for a family trip. There was a sink in the room, but the shower and toilet were shared. The room felt a little dusty, but we could open the window for ventilation, so it wasn't a problem. The bathroom was very clean, and there was no noticeable sewage smell. There is only one shower, but it's fine if you time your showers right. Towels provided in the room included one bath towel and one face towel, as well as body soap and shampoo. The shared kitchen was very convenient, and we were able to cook and eat food we bought at the supermarket. Coffee and tea were also available. We were able to leave our luggage in the hallway when we checked out, and they held it for us. If we visit Helsinki again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The Yard was decorated beautifully and the common area was a lot of fun to hang out in and interact with outher people. The kitchen was small but servicable to prepare your meals, and the place was very clean. The location of the hostel is also ver y good, located near shopping malls, supermarkets and the central train station and ferry ports, making it a very convenient hub for a Helsinki trip

The distance is very close. There is no self-service check-in. The environment is not bad. There are shared bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens. You need to bring your own ingredients. The price is high and it is only about 1.5 kilometers away from Vantaa Airport. It is very cost-effective for those who want to travel for a short time or transfer. It's like living in a semi-forest! The heater is not very warm and the temperature is a bit low. I don’t know if the cold spot will be higher!

This hotel is perfectly located, very close to the harbour. The Metro Line 4 stop is just 50 metres outside the door. It is immaculately clean, fitted with a complete kitchen set so we could cook our own meals. There is also a free Finnish sauna, which was lovely. The staff are very nice to us, and we had a really pleasant stay. One parcel arrived late after we had already returned to Poland, and they kindly helped to delivery it over to us. Overall it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely book this place again when we travel to Finland next time.

The staff are friendly, they have a kitchen. When many people cook at the same time. It’s a little crowded. The sign on the wall clearly says that everyone should wash their pots and dishes after cooking. Unfortunately, some guests still leave without cleaning up after themselves. It's inconsiderate and makes the shared kitchen unpleasant for everyone.

I had a wonderful stay at Skyhostel. The view is simply magnificent, and the location is superb.

Peaceful place, no noise from the traffic and otherwise also very quiet. Room had tv, refrigerator and a comfy chair beside the bed. What can I say? For this price I say this a steal. Also breakfast was very good. I fully recommend this at least for solo travelleres like I.

Never been to other places in Finland. There is no comparison, so I can't judge, I can only say that this shop is the cheapest shop I can find that can walk to the train station. Dorm room is not bad. The toilet and shower are too tight. I only stayed one night, so it was OK. If you want to stay here for a long time in Helsinki, it won't feel too comfortable. But it is too expensive to book a hotel or bed and breakfast in Finland. So my fellow citizens, don't come to Northern Europe if you have no budget. The staff here is very nice btw. It's not cold, very enthusiastic.

It was easy to spend because there was a feeling of cleanliness at the hotel on Suomenlinna Island and the rules of the hotel itself were firm. However, I don't know if I don't have to lend a towel or pay for it, so it's a caution there.
