2-Star Hotels in Shandong, China

The location is fantastic, close to the Mixc Mall and convenient walking distance to see the light show at night. Unfortunately, as for us we felt the hygiene standard was not quite up to standard.

Although the hotel is very close to the train station, it's a bit far from the main tourist attractions. Since the city doesn't have a subway, taking the bus can take about an hour to reach places like 趵突泉.

Such an amazing place. Staff personnel are charming and the place is cozy. As for the room with private bathroom was clean, amenities for the people staying there were enough. They provided bathing slippers and ear plugs. Overall cleanliness and privacy was amazing and free wi-fi. The place is at taidong pedestrian street and very close to beer museum. Just an amazing walking dustance to enjoy all the festivities. 25 minutes to qingdao nirth railway station. Good security for luggages and belongings. I cant wait to be here again.

Location It's very close to Wanxiangcheng. It's adjacent to The Westin Hotel, so it's best to book a Westin taxi. Since it's centrally located, taxis can get a bit congested, but overall, the location was good. Cleanliness This was my second visit to Qingdao, and I had a good experience staying at another apartment before. However, there was dust where the beds were, unorganized liquor bottles in the kitchen cabinets, moldy wallpaper near the front door (as seen in the photo), and a sticky, almost Chinese-style sauce container. While not severe, there was a general feeling of cleanliness throughout. Perhaps it was just my accommodation, but overall, the cleanliness was poor. Amenities The air conditioning was described as centrally controlled, but I'm not sure if that's accurate because it was translated. There are two rooms, each with two beds and a built-in closet for hanging clothes. There's one bathroom. There were three of us, so we just used it, but for four, it wouldn't be enough. But perhaps it's just China, but the air conditioning in the living room wouldn't go down no matter how low I turned it. Each room also had an air conditioner, which was adjustable and kept it comfortably cool. I set it to 21, but don't expect it to be 21 in Korea. I usually set it to 24-25 at home, so it felt about the same. There are four elevators, but they take forever. There's a floor sign inside, but no outside, so you can't tell where you are. The lobby on the first floor is also hot. Check-in and check-out are in room 3605. When you check in, if you add us as a WeChat friend, they'll bring towels and other things you need. I only received one card key, but I'm not sure if they provide more. I stayed for two nights, and the cleaning service consisted of a simple cleaning, towels, and water. The outlets all have the same voltage, so you don't need to bring your own. It may vary from person to person, but I woke up with a sore throat. If I get a massage and relax and sleep there, I'll have a sore throat again. This was my first time staying at this place, and aside from the cleanliness, I felt it was a decent place to stay for the price. However, if you're someone who expects above-average cleanliness, you might find it difficult. If I were to go to Cheongdo again, and the flight and room prices are expensive, I'd probably go back again if I wanted to save money. Otherwise, I wouldn't!

The apartment is ideally located, just a few minutes' walk from May Fourth Square, and surrounded by numerous restaurants and convenience stores. It's incredibly spacious, featuring two bedrooms, a living room, and three beds, providing more than enough room for 6 people. From the sea-view room, you can truly enjoy ocean and sailboat vistas, with the listing photos accurately reflecting the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartment also has a washing machine with a drying function, which was a lifesaver for doing laundry. (A quick tip for summer travel: quick-dry fabrics are a must – wash them at night and they'll be dry by morning!) The shower had excellent water pressure and stayed hot and strong even after four consecutive showers. The air conditioning was very effective. Initially, the central AC controls (each room has its own wall-mounted panel) were a bit tricky to figure out, but once adjusted, they worked perfectly. The TV was quite interesting – a huge screen with a touch-sensor power switch hidden on the back, which took a moment to figure out how to operate. While I'm not sure if accommodation in Shinan District is generally pricier than Huangdao District, it was certainly more expensive than our last stay near Golden Sands Beach. Overall, it's a great choice for family trips, offering ample space and plenty of beds.

This accommodation is near Wangsheren Metro Line 3 Station. It's convenient for traveling, and the room is much better than the price. There are cleaning staff every day. You can leave your luggage after checking out, but the counter is on the other side of the building. I highly recommend it. You can take a single bus into the city and reach the tourist spots.

I arrived late at around 2330 and i checked in fine, the place has a homey feeling. Clean and amazing. It is near to the Sankong scenic area. Has a restaurant where you can get drinks and also play pool table and karaoke. The street lights up during the night and you can go close by areas on foot. Just amazing. Also there was drinking water machine on the wall so free water

The place is comfortable enough but there’s really nothing Grand Hyatt about it.  Location was good, basically connected to MIXC mall which is the premium mall in the city. However it’s not a very tourist part of town more business area.  Also they give disposable towels, better to bring your own. Washer and dryer is good but no detergent given. No plates and cutleries either.

Service: Full marks for service💯, the handover matters are comprehensive, detailed and considerate; Location: Convenient transportation, convenient to go anywhere, you can directly see the sea upstairs; Hygiene: Cleaning can be arranged if necessary🧹, overall very satisfied👍

The reception of the hotel is located on 25th floor of the building which may not be obvious for first timer as there is no signage for the hotel at first floor. Apt is rather old. They provide microwave but there is no kitchen utensils not even a plate and a knife. You have to keep reminding them to send towels for 4 pax as they only provide 2 towels even though checked in 4 guests. Location wise, it is conveniently located next to the metro station exit which is connected to a big commercial mall where you can find nice restaurants.
