The free airport shuttle drops you right at the hostel entrance. The staff gives you a map and your key. It’s a big room with lots of bunk beds, really takes you back to college dorm days! The beds come with disposable sheets and a bath towel. The communal bathrooms and toilets are in the central area. There are lockers available, but you need to bring your own padlock. At night, you can step outside and see a sky full of stars. I stayed on May 30, 2026. The daytime was hot, and the nights were cool, but not cold. The hot water tap at the sink was quite cold at night, but a bit lukewarm in the morning.
After a long day of driving, we arrived at the place because we just needing a place to sleep for the night. It’s basic, as expected, but at least it was clean. The room was small and plain, with just the essentials—a bed, a desk, and a private bathroom.
It wasn’t particularly comfortable, and the amenities were minimal, but it served its purpose as a quick stopover. The staff was polite enough, and while it’s not somewhere we’d stay for more than one night, it worked for what we needed: a budget-friendly, no-frills place to rest before hitting the road again.
Great place to stay for both business and holiday. Staff are friendly, cabins are clean and spacious and the location is fantastic. #1 pick for staying at Katherine.
Surprised to find peacocks and tropical kangaroos, it is simply an animal paradise, the accommodation is clean and tidy, although simple, but very comfortable! Bring us too many surprises!
