Booked this in short notice. Easy to book. Live horse racing was fun and you are very close to the action. The casino was great the room was big very comfy and clean!! The staff is was friendly and very helpful. Can’t go wrong giving this downs a try!!!

Their 3 bed room (including a sofabed) was nice.
Sofabed was clean/comfortable and it can turn into two small beds or one big one. We liked it so much we booked the same room twice.

The rooms in the old-fashioned luxury hotel are spacious, and I especially like the bright and clean bathroom. The facilities are a bit old, especially the carpet. The big bed is very comfortable, the lobby is warm and luxurious, and the casino is also fun. The hotel is located in a good location by the river, and the parking building is also very convenient. In short, it is worth staying there for two days on the weekend. The price-performance ratio is good.

On the edge of the highway, I didn't expect to encounter such an elegant town and such an unexpected hotel. Very clean and refreshing. New facilities, good service, except for a smaller scale with a five-star standard .

Everything was perfect when we arrived. We had no problems at all. Location was perfect for us and very easy access to and from event! Receptionist was very personable and attentive to our needs. Thank you for a lovely 3 night stay. Will stay here again.

We came to celebrate my birthday and the room was clean, comfortable and customer service excellent. We had purchased the breakfast online option to our room and this saved us about $30 or so on the breakfast buffet, which had your normal things on it but it was fresh, hot and good service. Would definitely stay here again.

My experience at this location was excellent. The room was what I expected it would be. Just a few things I didn’t like but the good was way better than the the bad. The staff was super friendly and professional. I will be booking here in the future again.

GGuest UserThis place is very hollow and loud. It's very close quarters and no sound proofing. You can hear everyone's TV in the hall amd your room, people screaming on the phone, doors slamming, people getting ice on another floor, people outside on the nice patio, water took forever in sink to go down, black blanket they give you was so nasty, looked like snot or semen smeared on it. Hair was everywhere. I say this with the understanding that hair is harder to get up. It was In our bed, everywhere in shower. I know you can't say no children but this is not a place for small kids to run around and talk in hallways bc everything can be hear so clearly. No proofing or weather*****ping under doors so there is a huge gap. Of maybe 1.5 inches under the doors that doesn't help the sound. Cute place, in a sketchy up and coming neighborhood. They have street parking only which was plentiful and said there was security roving through neighborhood. Never saw them but our cars were fine. Good idea for a small neighborhood hostel/hotel. Decor was simple and so cute throughout and it comes with a MW and fridge. The attached coffee and bar was nice.

GGuest UserRoom was clean, spacious. Reception was quick but did not inform us that daily housekeeping would NOT be done.
The hotel had a pool area but we were not informed that there was a charge for it.
We had a lap next to the bed that was not working. An evening maintenance person had to replace the whole fixture, the way it was mounted he was not able to secure the new fixture completely and he said the day maintenance crew would take care of it. Never got done even though we told the front desk about the situation.
We had a drawer on the dresser that insisted on opening itself about four inches. The night maintenance man attempted to fix it but was unable to accomplish it, so he said he would leave a note for the day maintenance crew to attend to it. Never happened.
Hair dryer had some sticky stuff all over the handle.
Many of the retail areas were not open Tuesday and Wednesday. Their weekend. Just happened to be the days we were there.
****** was large enough with plenty of machines.
There is an event center but nothing was scheduled. There were no nightly entertainment as in other ******s.

BBrian Rose HensleyThe shower did not have enough pressure so it was hard to feel clean/get soap out. Another friend's shower had too much power and sprayed hard in multiple crazy directions. The vanity mirror light did not work in most of the rooms our friends had but it did in ours. And the lighting in the rooms is very minimal so that mirror is necessary. The street was sometimes closed off due to construction so Lyft drivers were easily confused, but sometimes it wasn't. We woke up one morning at 8 am to the sound of a jack hammer right outside the window. It didn't stop that morning but the lady at the front desk did call and make sure it didn't happen again which we very much appreciated. When we checked in, there was a water station in the lobby. It broke and they did not set up another one, but said we would need to go to the main hotel to get water. There were a lot of negatives but the rooms themselves are very large and lofty (as the name suggests). It has a TON of potential but needs better service/management.

Our bedroom was impeccable, same as the bathroom.
This hotel has kept the old style and it is a very charming place that is kept really nice.
 The room was very comfortable. It also has the old style and it is very cozy and nice.
 The bathroom in our room is 100% remodeled and it is now really nice
We stayed for three days and during our stay, we were never bothered by knockings on the door or anything like that. It’s a very nice and quiet place to stay.
We were very happy with the way the room is set up and the way it is decorated, and it is good to mention that the bed was also set up really nice and it is a very comfortable bed
 We did not have the chance to eat in the hotel, or to use the bar but everything looked really nice to us. Overall, we were very happy throughout our stay, and we would recommend this place fully.

GGuest User#positive #I was happy with the Nearby Activities, Mosquito Control Measures, Bed Comfort Level, Corridor Soundproofing, Safety, Soundproofing; Overall it is good, especially the location of the hotel. It is a quarter of an hour's walk from the Morial venue, and next to it is a green square. It is very easy to find on Google Maps. It is just on St Charles Street, and you can take a tram for sightseeing diagonally opposite. Tulane University is on this line, and there are world-class immersive museums, World War II museums, which can be visited by tram. Very convenient. There is a sushi under the Intercontinental Hotel across the street from the hotel, which is delicious and not expensive. Let's talk about the hotel itself, you have to pay more than 40 knives in tax and a 100 knives deposit to enter the store. The extra-large city view room, with the street view of the city on both sides, is worth the price. Prices tripled during the meeting. On the first day, I found that the shower was broken, and it was quick to call for repairs, but the workers' English was not good, so it took a little time. After repair it works fine. Except for this bug, everything is OK. By the way, let me tell you those who are preparing for the New Olympics trip, the airport express bus 202, 1.25 US dollars, walks a quarter of an hour from the hotel, and drives directly to the gate of Armstrong Airport, the first bus at 4:10.
