Here I had a pleasant stay. Recommend to stay here for excellent location and service. The staff, Halil, is very nice. If you stay here on the weekend (for me it’s Saturday), you will also enjoy the local bazaar just in front of the hotel.
Ertu and his parents are running a lovely little hotel business! We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hosts were very hospitable. Very helpful, and friendly. The hotel is positioned in great location. The room we stayed in was very clean with good working air conditioning. Simple design with the spacious bathroom on the first floor and bed and balcony on the second floor. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful, with fresh and home made items! Pretty undercover area to have breakfast.
Unfortunately poor/limited wifi connection on the second floor of the room.
I would be wary of the room you book if you were tall, as the room we stayed in (economy double room) had very low ceilings. It didn't bother me but the other guest kept hitting their head.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. As soon as I sat down in the lobby, they politely asked if I wanted a drink, coffee, tea, or water. They also provided a complimentary breakfast. Having traveled extensively, I've rarely seen a hotel offer such a generous breakfast. I highly recommend it! Outside the hotel is the downtown shopping street, lined with restaurants, making dining very convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, which offers direct access to the airport. It’s also within walking distance of some of the best spots in Izmir, including places for breakfast, dining, live music, art galleries, and the seaside. The staff is very friendly.
If I visit Izmir again, I will definitely choose this place
My friend and I planned a trip to Izmir and we preferred Jakamar Hotel to look at the comments. There was really what they said. We were very happy. Can Bey was very interested and helped. Everyone was very understanding and laughing, there was a warm environment and we felt like in our house. The rooms were clean. The air conditioning was available. All in the room was right. The hotel's location was perfect. You can go to the street and get to the bus stops immediately and the buses go everywhere. It was quite close to our terminal. We could easily walk to the market and come. All was very great. I would like to have a hotel again :) thank you.

I had a short but pleasant stay for 2 nights. Despite me sending a few messages to the hotel before I arrived about needing a breakfast box to go as I had a tour at 6:30 am, nothing was known to the front reception desk when I arrived just after 9 pm. The to go box that I ended up getting had hardly anything in it. This was disappointing since the breakfast buffet that I missed had so .any varieties of fresh and precooked food. The front reception staff was friendly and pleasant.
The location of the hotel is behind a main street. The surrounding environment is not good, and there is nothing to go shopping at all, but the interior of the hotel is pretty good. There is a small swimming pool in the middle of the room. Although no one swims, it looks pretty good. The room is not big, and the bed is small, (Turkey feels that there is no bed over 1 meter?) There is a small balcony. Breakfast is okay, and it's not too far to drive to Ephesus attractions.
The hotel is usually boutique and beautiful. The small room is very clean. They are improving every day. Very close to the city center. When we arrive in winter, the rooms are air-conditioned. Bedirhan Bey is a local specialty of the region. They are very interested in this family, the boutique hotel is open in summer and winter. They continue to engage in this profession from the family.

GGuest UserThe hotel that made me feel the best, a home away from home, excellent location, 3 km from the scenic area, good facilities, good breakfast, convenient surroundings and very good dining restaurants. The warm and beautiful owner offered to personally give us a free tour of the Temple of Artemis and took us to the entrance to the ruins of Ephesus Mountain. Thank you so much,I'd like to come back sometime。

GGuest UserWe were in Izmir when we decided to get a room in Çeşme and I booked this hotel trough Trip.com. It had best ratings and it came up 1st of the list. We didn’t think twice cos we are not keen in staying in hotels for our holiday as we like to travel around. So we didn’t expect anything wow for a 3 stars hotel. But to be honest we found the place charming, a cute family owned small hotel with a cosy veranda for breakfast, served every morning by polite staff. You don’t order anything but eggs, the rest comes fresh from the kitchen: olives, cheeses, watermelon, nuts, honey, tomato and cucumbers and other stuff as meze style. Rooms are small but cosy and clean with a side balcony facing the garden. That’s all we needed. The owner is a gentle person fluently in English and very helpful. We had a problem with hairdryer and a new one came in a minute. Location for us is the best part and that’s why we chose it. Literally 5 minutes walk from the beach, a nice side walk between villas and the cristal water shore. 5 minutes from the marina and all the bars, restaurants and beach clubs. You can just step out from the hall and stop a minibus (dolmush) with your hand. Can go to Alaçati or Cesme in 10 minutes for only 1 euro. If you not too fussy and want to spend few days in a good, clean, cosy and friendly environment we highly recommend to try Mon Ilica Otel.
DDr. Dennis E. EricsonThe location of the hotel is perfect almost the middle point of every destination in İzmir. Because it is located in an electronic market day time is crowded and night time super silent nice to sleep.
Their AC is working hard all night and cools down much but during night it doesn't stop at a certain temperature and we felt cold during the night, if you turn off the AC room will get so warm again. There's no chance to balance.
Good they have a small balcony but have no good view. The bathroom was wonderful 👍 nice. And thanks this hotel thinks about believer guests and they provide a praying mat 🙏
HHakan 哈康I recently stayed at a quaint hotel superbly located near the vibrant Art Street, perfect for those keen to explore local art and culture. The hotel, housed in an old mansion, offers a charming, historical ambiance but comes with several trade-offs. The lack of on-site parking necessitates paying for nearby private parking, which can be inconvenient and adds an unexpected expense. Additionally, the absence of food services within the hotel could be a drawback for guests looking for mealtime convenience, though unlimited free coffee and bottled water are pleasant perks. One should note that the reception closes at 6 PM, which could pose challenges for late arrivals or those needing evening assistance. The rooms, while clean and maintaining the property's antique charm, do not have TVs and the old mansion’s thin walls mean sounds carry easily from room to room. Despite these issues, the hotel's cleanliness and prime location make it a compelling choice for travelers, particularly those interested in the arts, who don't mind a few inconveniences during their stay.
RRoubaoyingyingA very beautiful B&B. We originally booked a triple room, but the owner saw that we were not sleeping well and gave us a room for free so that we could sleep peacefully. There is a small road at the entrance of the B&B that Google Map led into the pit. The car almost got stuck in the middle of the road. Fortunately, the B&B guy came out to help solve the problem and parked the car. I was scared just thinking about it and I didn't sleep well all night. Fortunately, nothing happened in the end. So everyone must read Google Maps clearly when driving. Sometimes it will give you blind directions.
GGuest UserThe hotel is big and very industrial. Booked a 2 bedroom grand suite. The communal areas are very big and well furnished. The master bedroom is a good size but the 2nd bedroom is very cramped for twin beds. The kitchen is well equipped but as an apartment for 4 only had crockery and glasses for 2.
The area is very grubby as it is in the heart of the car workshops.
The communal areas in the hotel are very grubby and look dirty and rundown except for the reception area.
Would not use again and in my opinion £400 for 2 nights was excessive.
That said the buffet breakfast was exceptionally good.
BBaranovThe hotel is located in the center - in the heart of Izmir. Many different Turkish cafes around. Not far from the market.
Before you check-in you should verify the actual details and size of your room. In our case what was in the picture on Trip.com was not exactly the reality. When we asked why we booked 20m3 double room and were given a small one of 14m3 they started explaining that the system booked automatically..., we have two types..., you should have told us you need the bigger one etc. Very funny and weak excuses.
Otherwise the hotel is not bad, the breakfast is ok, the location is nice. By the way - parking is just along the road next to the hotel - it is a normal way of parking in many places in Türkiye.
AAntonkumeikoQuite a good hotel for the money
The location is great, there are commuter trains, metro and bus stops nearby. There are many shops in the area and places to eat. It's a 20-minute walk to the Konak tower, there's a large park nearby
Clean
And the main plus is that you can't hear the sounds from the mosques early in the morning, which is a matter of principle for me
The bed is comfortable
Cons:
1. The shower head is located very low
2. The view of the courtyard resembles some kind of dump
3. I wanted to invite my friend to my room, but a hotel employee came and started banging on the door in a very rude way and almost shouting in Turkish (when will the Turks understand that not everyone in the world should understand their language? It seems like it's not even considered an international language of communication). No one informed us in advance that we can't bring guests to the room. Only this rude old man-employee completely ruined the whole impression
4. Breakfast... it seems to be there, but it seems to be just eggs, vegetables and olives, there's not even coffee. Every day I got tired of eating the same thing. It's called ”Turkish breakfast”, some people like it, but I personally don't get full.
To sum it up, you can live quite comfortably for your money, I slept there quite comfortably in 4 days
