The location is very convenient, pick and drop service provided. With complimentary breakfast served on the roof top restaurant, stunning view. Overall, highly recommended for short stay.

Hotel included free airport transfer service, very good and convenient
I would like to commend the hotel for the very good meals! Please go and try the spaghetti carbonara! You will not regret it!
The room also has a hair dryer, which is very important for girls!
The hotel is old, but it will be shortened one night near the airport. The shower is located right in the middle of the bathroom, this area is not separated, so if you try to wash, the whole floor and toilet will be in the water. The room also smelled of cigarettes, though they tried to hide it with a flavor. Of the benefits of the human attitude of the staff. We arrived much earlier than the hour of settlement and our room was not ready, so we were temporarily settled in another smaller room, nothing had to pay for this great respect
Hotel Malati is a small budget hotel. The room amenities were enough for a comfortable stay. The hotel is located in Tilganga area near Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The distance might be around 2 kilometers from the airport. So it is highly convenient.
The manager of the hotel, the kitchen staff as well as all other staff are very helpful and courteous. The taste of the food at their restaurant is really amazing. The kitchen staff catered to all our requests for customisation in the food. I highly appreciate their special attention to our requests.
The managers - helped us for taxi booking, local sightseeing, all other guidance.
I highly recommend hotel Malati for budget travellers. We paid NPR 3000 including breakfast in the month of December 2024.
It was a fully satisfactory stay.
I don’t have much choice in the economical model.
The service was pretty good. I had rhinitis on the first day. I asked the front desk how to get to the pharmacy, and they took me there directly. Basically, if you ask any questions, he will answer them patiently. But maybe my Chinese is not very good
Very good location
There is an ordering service, and the price is about the same as the restaurants in the square outside.
There is a restaurant at the intersection next to the Shiva Temple with relatively affordable prices. The fried noodles are 100 rupees plain, 120 rupees with beef, 140 rupees with chicken, and 180 rupees mixed.
You may have to tell them separately about the cleaning of the guest room. I stayed for three days and it was not cleaned for three days.
I stayed at this hostel for 5 days, and then left my luggage to go hiking the Annapurna. As soon as I arrived here I felt at home. The room is really cozy and warm. Everyone really quite at night time. I met great people too!
The terrace is amazing! You can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner here in a really quiet and comfortable space. Everything was working really well! Hot water, heater in the room and the place is really clean!
A special thanks to the sweet Saugat from the day shift, and Raju from the night shift. They both were really sweet and gentle all the time. If I come back to Kathmandu, I will definitely come back here!
100% recommended!
The hotel is nice with friendly hospitality.
It’s brand new and everything in the room is very clean! That’s rare to find in Nepal especially with any budget hotel.
One only complaint is about the noises from street at night. Better bring earbuds if you’re a noise sensitive person like me. Except for this everything is perfect!
The location is near Swayambhu but away from the commercial area, which is perfect to me. You could ask the front desk to hire a moto through indrive to the monkey temple site. It will take less than 10 minutes to be there.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Everest Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu! This hotel is a gem – beautifully designed in a traditional style, and everything feels brand new and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a great start to the day, with a good variety of options including fresh juices, tea, coffee, fruit, toast, cheese, and delicious pastries.
What really set this hotel apart was their excellent tour desk. We booked our trek to Everest Base Camp with them, and it turned out to be the best decision! Not only did they offer us the most competitive price compared to all the other tour agencies we checked, but our guide, Ram Bhandari (who is also a staff member at the hotel), was truly outstanding. He was incredibly helpful, attentive to our safety throughout the entire trek, and ensured we had great accommodations along the way. We can’t recommend Everest Boutique Hotel highly enough – book with them, and you won’t be disappointed!

GGuest UserWe had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations.
One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay.
Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight!
The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way.
A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere.
What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay.
In summary, our time at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, immaculate rooms, delectable cuisine, and the added touch of free yoga and meditation sessions make this hotel a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay near Boudha Stupa. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers looking for an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay truly remarkable – we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return!
Tip: Indulge in delightful puri & curry breakfast, relish al fresco dining, rejuvenate with free daily yoga. A tranquil oasis near Boudha Stupa.
GGuest UserLocation is amazing in Thamel, super easy to walk around for food and many things
Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful
And there is a cocktail coupon every day
Only breakfast was too late because my schedule to leave at 9 am but it was ready at 8.30 am and two days in a row. Overall it is very nice hotel to stay when you go to Kathmandu
GGuest UserI stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

じじじたびIt's close to Durbar Square in the Thamel district, so it's conveniently located just a 10-minute walk (or a leisurely 15-minute walk - I'm not sure how long it took).
There is also a popular restaurant in the same building.
The staff are very friendly and always attentive. You can feel free to ask about bus and flight arrangements and tour applications.
I wouldn't say that every corner of the building is clean, but the corridors and toilets that are used on a daily basis are cleaned several times a day.
There are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms.
Ddaiyan_****There is a garden and the restaurant is also in the garden. The single bed is a little small but very comfortable. There is a terrace facing the garden. Fortunately, it closes at 8 or 9 in the evening, so it becomes very quiet immediately.
GGuest UserSmall boutique hotel with amazing service, the people are so helpful. Shree Jana at the reception is very cheerful, she always greetings the guest whenever come in and out of the hotel. My flight was early past midnight, they gave special price to stay at the hotel till 3 hours before my departute. Breakfast also good, serves lots of fruits.
Location is close to all the shops and restos.Recommended for travellers who are coming to Kathmandu and want to stay around Thamel.
Thank you for all the staff at Kumari Boutique hotel.
CChristinalvxingdarenBecause I didn't catch the plane, I found a small hotel temporarily in the early morning.
facility:
Although the hotel is small, the hardware facilities are relatively good in Nepal, which is good.
There is air conditioning, hot water and card swipe door locks, which are advanced.
But there is no hair dryer either…
health:
I still saw the hair...
environment:
Room comfortable
Serve:
The breakfast provided is relatively simple (Picture 6 is the breakfast menu)
The service attitude of the staff at night is good, but the service attitude during the day is average.
In the evening, my friend in Kathmandu sent me to the hotel to pick up my luggage and take me to the airport. The hotel staff was even more hospitable.
HhgseyyyIt is about 1km away from the center of Thamel. It is relatively quiet and has a good environment.
Facilities: quite complete and there is a small elevator which is quite convenient.
Sanitation: much cleaner than hotels in the Thamel area.
Environment: good environment with less dust.
In general, if you like quietness, you can stay here. There is a supermarket next to it which is also convenient. It takes 13-15 minutes to walk to Thamel 1 and 2 streets.
