Great Stay at Inthira Thakhek
I stayed at Inthira Thakhek for a business trip and, as always, had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in and stay smooth. My Standard Twin Room was clean and comfortable, though the exhaust fan was a bit noisy.
I appreciate their eco-friendly approach—providing glass bottles of water instead of plastic. The breakfast was à la carte with a limited portion, and guests could choose only one menu item, but the self-service tea, coffee, and orange juice were unlimited.
Overall, a great stay! I will definitely return on my next trip to Thakhek.
Traveling solo around Laos, I stayed in Thakhek for three days, and this Marriott really sorted out a lot of my hassles. The front desk was always available; I could store my large luggage for free when my plans changed at the last minute. The staff carefully explained the Don Det ferry schedule to me and even gave me tips on how to avoid scams at the pier. There's free parking right outside, so I could just park my motorbike anywhere. Plus, there are charging outlets in the lobby, which was super convenient for editing videos and organizing photos. The room had plenty of storage space, perfect for stashing my backpack and outdoor gear. Housekeeping cleaned it thoroughly every day, and I felt completely safe staying there alone.
Great location, spectacular view, cozy room.
There is a toilet and basin which was fine for us.
The restaurant was a bit stark, but the food is good if you choose the right things.
Very friendly staffs, variety breakfasts and counter staffs were helpful when requested for assistance. Hotel itself is reasonably priced. Overall is good.
In his song is a better hotel, there is a night market next to the hotel. In the evening, you can go to drink Lao beer. It should be a more lively place in his song.
Convenient parking, elevator, transparent and comfortable room, convenient eating, this is an unconventional small hotel, free juice, convenient eating around, there is a very famous pagoda nearby, breakfast is a la carte, self-driving Moding-Luang Prabang-Vanrong-Vientiane-Taqu-Zhanbase, Anyway, I booked this hotel on my return trip from Basse.
