Guest UserThe hotel room is newly renovated and very bright, making for a comfortable stay. The TV is a new smart TV, so you can watch YouTube. The lobby even offers welcome drinks, which is a thoughtful touch.
The hotel's location is convenient; it's only about a 5-10 minute ride on the light rail from Toyama Station, and the trains run frequently, so you don't have to worry about long waits. There's also a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven nearby, perfect for grabbing late-night snacks.
The only minor drawback is that the sound insulation of the room door isn't great. If guests speak loudly in the corridor late at night or early in the morning, you can hear it quite clearly.

The hotel is really close to the station, right between the North and South exits. When you come out, head right towards the M shopping mall. Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a 24-hour drink bar. The hot water for the coffee machine is at the very bottom, indicated by a red button. Just across the street, in the mall, there's that delicious sushi restaurant with self-service ordering – it's fresh and tasty!

HuihuiGBDFive-star rating all around! I was a bit worried the 2019 renovation might feel old, but it absolutely doesn't – everything feels very new. They offer a pick-up service from the train station, or it's just a 300m walk. Inside the hotel, there are English-speaking staff, making communication a breeze. The buffet dinner was also good. There aren't many dining options on the hot spring street; besides one BBQ place, it's mostly set menus and ramen, so the hotel buffet is a better choice. For lunch, I recommend the cafe by the entrance; both the cakes and drinks were delicious. Since we visited in winter, we didn't book the scenic train, but we did go to the ski resort, which was perfect for kids. The foot bath next to the train station was super hot and incredibly relaxing. This is a great place to stay for two nights.

Arrived in Toyama with great excitement, ready to start my trip. The room design was a bizarre, face-to-face door structure. I was originally assigned room 611, but for some reason, it was changed to 601, which has that face-to-face door layout. The front desk's explanation was astounding: 'Because it's cheaper.' I was speechless. Isn't the price set by *them*? How does that relate to the room's structure? Did they design rooms this way just for a certain price point? To avoid any further brain-damage, I decided not to speak to them for the rest of my stay.

Anonymous UserJust a short walk from the exit of Toyama station, turn left then go up an escalator, the hotel is on the left. I stayed for a nite in Toyama. Before i checkout from hotel, I went to Iwasehama Beach. I was only managed to onboard a 0831 tram back to Toyama station. By the time I arrived @Toyama station it was 0901. Thank goodness i booked this hotel and without missing my train @0925 to Osaka. Highly recommended. If I am coming back to Toyama definitely will stay @this hotel again. In addition to this, lots of eateries around the hotel too.

The hotel is next to Toyama Station. It is said to be in Showa style. The decoration is old and you need a key to open the door. The walls of the room are not very clean, but the price is relatively cheap. The quilt does not have a quilt cover, which feels unhygienic.

The hotel's location is fantastic; you can see its top-floor sign as soon as you exit the south exit of Toyama Station. There are many dining options nearby, offering a wide variety of choices. The room looked quite simple and clean, but there was a large stain on the inner rim of the toilet, near the bidet spray, which was very off-putting. The room was a smoking room, so the smell of smoke was very strong. If you don't smoke, try to choose a non-smoking room. I didn't pay close attention to that beforehand.

Hotel is a bit old. Location is good. A big shopping plaza (SunPlaza) just next to the hotel. Hotel provides free parking.
Hotel room is a very old fashion like 90's but the cleaningless is acceptable.
One thing which is unacceptable is the water in the room. The water came out from the shower or from the tap is only hot water. No matter you use cool water tap or hot water tap, only hot water came out. I asked the reception staff, they told me to turn on the water tap for 10 minutes then some room temp water might come out. We had tried and some times it worked but sometimes it didn't. This is the only thing we were not happy.,

Hotel room is good enough for 2 luggage. Room was pleasant. Bright & cosy. One of the best for my whole trip of hotel hopping. Breakfast was simple but good enough.

SyiadatulThroughout my stay in Japan, i think love this hotel the most. Not just because the price is very economic, the location is so easy access to everywhere, the cleanliness, and the facilities are all completed. The staffs all are all so helpful. Even the room size for solo traveler is pretty decent. If I ever going to Takaoka again, I will definitely come here again.
