First time in Toyama and it was fantastic, I'll definitely be back. The hotel was great in every aspect. The window view from the hallway was stunning, and it's super close to the station, making getting around really convenient. The staff were excellent, and the lobby was spacious and clean with a comfortable lounge area. They even offer free sake tasting and have a coffee machine. But the absolute best was the matcha – it was incredibly rich and aromatic! The room facilities were in perfect condition and spotlessly clean.
Just a short walk from the exit of Toyama station, turn left then go up an escalator, the hotel is on the left. I stayed for a nite in Toyama. Before i checkout from hotel, I went to Iwasehama Beach. I was only managed to onboard a 0831 tram back to Toyama station. By the time I arrived @Toyama station it was 0901. Thank goodness i booked this hotel and without missing my train @0925 to Osaka. Highly recommended. If I am coming back to Toyama definitely will stay @this hotel again. In addition to this, lots of eateries around the hotel too.
Walkable distance from toyama station. Overall the room was clean and friendly staff.
Breakfast was average with croissant, eggs & sausages.
Will suggest to improve on the check in & out time & free cancelation.
I think it's enough to stay at this price!
The containers are separated one by one, so you can spend almost no time facing other groups.
This is about 5 minutes walk from Uozu Station, and there are famous rice shops and supermarkets nearby 💫
The front desk is open until 6-23. There is a frozen lunch box and you can get one per person. There are a little punches such as Maba eggplant, European curry, beef fried rice, etc. to eat in the morning, but the amount and taste are satisfactory ☺️
There are also packs of coffee, Sencha and Earl Gray Tea, and you can get free time when the front desk is open 🍵
Shampoo and treatments don't suit your hair, so if you're concerned, I recommend bringing them.
It seems to be deployed nationwide, so I want to use other places 🍎
The hotel is really close to the station, right between the North and South exits. When you come out, head right towards the M shopping mall. Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a 24-hour drink bar. The hot water for the coffee machine is at the very bottom, indicated by a red button. Just across the street, in the mall, there's that delicious sushi restaurant with self-service ordering – it's fresh and tasty!
This was my first trip to Toyama, and I did a lot of research before booking a hotel. I ended up choosing the Oarks Canal Park Hotel because of its great value for money. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Toyama Station. You can also easily walk to Canal Park to visit the famous 'most beautiful Starbucks'. The hotel room was quite spacious and very clean. They clean every three days, but daily cleaning can be arranged if requested. If you opt out of daily cleaning, they still provide fresh bath towels, hand towels, and toothbrushes, along with UCC coffee capsules every day. The room had an excellent view; I loved opening the curtains each morning to a different scenery. The only downside was that they only provided a complimentary bottle of drinking water on the first day of my stay. I had to go to a supermarket near the station every day to buy water. Overall, I was satisfied.
I had a wonderful stay at APA Stay Toyama. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near public transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. My room was cozy and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the excellent value for the price. I would definitely choose APA Stay Toyama again on my next trip to the area.
I wanted to go to both Kurobe and Toyama prefectures, so I looked for a hotel in Uozu City in the middle and went here.
It was easy to understand along the main street and was able to check in smoothly
Great stay- good food and very fresh. Good public bath with very hot water. B Free coffee and plain water at level one. (For certain timing) Entrance is at level two. From room, can see sunset view. Thanks for the great service!
Our family of four stayed in a Hollywood Twin Room.
It's brand new and very clean.
Even though we were on the top floor, we didn't have to wait long for the elevator.
With a single bed, a double bed, and a sofa bed, all four of us slept comfortably. The sofa bed was a little firm, so it might be nice to have two futons.
The public bath's changing room is small, and the sink is only for two people, so it can get a bit crowded. However, it was nice to have Rifa hair dryers in both the bath and the guest rooms.
For breakfast, the only thing unique to Toyama was the shredded kelp, but overall the seasoning was good and we were satisfied.
When traveling, we tend to eat rich meals for both lunch and dinner, so it's nice to have a breakfast like this so we don't overeat!
The breakfast staff were very friendly and even gave us some sightseeing information.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!
(Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)

HHuihuiGBDFive-star rating all around! I was a bit worried the 2019 renovation might feel old, but it absolutely doesn't – everything feels very new. They offer a pick-up service from the train station, or it's just a 300m walk. Inside the hotel, there are English-speaking staff, making communication a breeze. The buffet dinner was also good. There aren't many dining options on the hot spring street; besides one BBQ place, it's mostly set menus and ramen, so the hotel buffet is a better choice. For lunch, I recommend the cafe by the entrance; both the cakes and drinks were delicious. Since we visited in winter, we didn't book the scenic train, but we did go to the ski resort, which was perfect for kids. The foot bath next to the train station was super hot and incredibly relaxing. This is a great place to stay for two nights.
GGuest UserArrived in Toyama with great excitement, ready to start my trip. The room design was a bizarre, face-to-face door structure. I was originally assigned room 611, but for some reason, it was changed to 601, which has that face-to-face door layout. The front desk's explanation was astounding: 'Because it's cheaper.' I was speechless. Isn't the price set by *them*? How does that relate to the room's structure? Did they design rooms this way just for a certain price point? To avoid any further brain-damage, I decided not to speak to them for the rest of my stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is next to Toyama Station. It is said to be in Showa style. The decoration is old and you need a key to open the door. The walls of the room are not very clean, but the price is relatively cheap. The quilt does not have a quilt cover, which feels unhygienic.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic; you can see its top-floor sign as soon as you exit the south exit of Toyama Station. There are many dining options nearby, offering a wide variety of choices. The room looked quite simple and clean, but there was a large stain on the inner rim of the toilet, near the bidet spray, which was very off-putting. The room was a smoking room, so the smell of smoke was very strong. If you don't smoke, try to choose a non-smoking room. I didn't pay close attention to that beforehand.
GGuest UserHotel is a bit old. Location is good. A big shopping plaza (SunPlaza) just next to the hotel. Hotel provides free parking.
Hotel room is a very old fashion like 90's but the cleaningless is acceptable.
One thing which is unacceptable is the water in the room. The water came out from the shower or from the tap is only hot water. No matter you use cool water tap or hot water tap, only hot water came out. I asked the reception staff, they told me to turn on the water tap for 10 minutes then some room temp water might come out. We had tried and some times it worked but sometimes it didn't. This is the only thing we were not happy.,
