This property is overpriced for what it offers!
Positives:
The exterior and lobby area are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Negatives:
Rooms – quite basic, lacking even an electric kettle for heating water.
Bathroom – Cramped space, making it difficult to move without touching the commode.
Restaurant – overpriced with no noticeable improvement in quality or taste compared to nearby eateries. For instance, a masala dosa costs ₹250 at the hotel restaurant, whereas a decent restaurant near the temple offers it for just ₹90. Additionally, no room service is available for food.
At per night, this stay is not worth it. If priced under , it would be a more reasonable option. Not recommended.
Extremely delighted of my Stay with IHG-Holiday Express (Hinjewadi). Customer friendly staff, always smiling and welcoming. Special thanks to Vineet, who facilitated early checking, comfortable stay and delightful interaction - making sure that IHG care with a smile. a BIG thank you.
The hotel is good, it is a very young hotel. It is much better than other hotels in Navi-Mumbai. The problem was that the breakfast was booked but the hotel did not check it and received the breakfast fee. Ctrip later solved it.
my stay at hotel sai residency was peaceful and pleasant. the rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience. the staff was very cooperative and went out of their way to accommodate any requests promptly. one of the highlights was the flexibility with dining—you can order from their in-house restaurant or opt for delivery through zomato or swiggy. this made meals convenient and hassle-free. overall, it’s a great option for a reasonable budget stay. highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and good service without breaking the bank!

JJainIshaWe checked in at 1am in night and before that we had a word with someone from hotel that can we check out at 3pm next day as we will be leaving 3pm, that time the staff said that okay you come down here and then we settle things up for you. Once we reached here, they totally denied that they wont be able to help, still we understood their things we told them atleast provide a place for keeping our luguage to which they certainly provided us. Once we were back to hotel and asked the reception guy that if he can provide us a room for 1 hour as we wanted to rest and we were ready to pay for the same to which he totally denied that no we dont have a room when entire hotel have so ***y vacant rooms. Atleast hotel ***agement should have basic hu*** decency to gove their guest the most memorable stay instead of spoiling the trip.
Pathetic experience. Also they dont have basic eminity of dustbin in the rooms, their health faucet was broke, they don't even provide basic toiletries also.
After few minutes we again went to him and asked him what will be the charges for 1 hour and he asked for Rs.600 and we booked this hotel for a days in 850! Comm'on guys like seriously?
Won't ever recommend this hotel as the reception guy is not at all helpful.
FFRITZ GERALDTo be honest, I booked 2 Days before arrival for 08-11JAN25. There was nothing less 100 USD per night in Colaba. With my booking I was requesting a room with Kingsize bed on a higher floor. I got a Twin Room on lower floor! After complaining, the Manager Lady gave me a King Bed Room - but still 3. Floor! Guys, don't live on that low level at all! It was noicy all day and all night! Just between 02-05 AM I could sleep a bit! I think. lower then 6. Floor there is no daylight, no quietness and no chance to open the windows! No View of course (especailly no sea view as mentioned in the hotel description here)!
At the end I enjoyed it a bit, cause most of the time I was outside Hotel anyway.
A Hotelroom should be a heaven of peace, comfort and quietness!
Last night both of my neighbor rooms where occupied with locals (men). I was in the middle! Talking, Drinking, cooking Rice and clapping the doors permanently! Crazy! So, be careful guys when booking this Hotel! Even its New (just 1 year old now)!

GGuest UserBeing a solo traveller (I wrongly booked for 2) I was “upgraded” to a room in the top floor with a window that looked into all kind of machines, I didn’t feel comfortable there. Besides there are some metro construction works that make it a bit difficult to reach the place. It’s a 20 minutes distance from Gateway of India but for the price I paid I wasn’t expecting such a 2/3 stars hotel. Breakfast just normal, nothing great
GGuest UserThis is a historically important location in Matheran. Ratheesh and his business partner were so welcoming and helpful and the accommodation is so full of character. For a truly “green” and unique stay in a totally unique location, the Verandah in the Forest is absolutely a must. This is undoubtedly the place to stay in Matheran if you can get a room - would suggest booking early so as not to miss the chance to stay here - and is so much more than a hotel.
Food was superb and because of the size and layout, never seemed busy. Quiet and relaxing stay.
As there’s no phone signal in Matheran Hill Station I’d suggest contacting Ratheesh before making the ascent to the hill station for location instructions. There is wi-fi at the Verandah in the Forest.
GGuest UserExcellent location. The breakfast spread has improved but I still miss the good old days with hot and fresh parathas being served in the mornings.
The hotel is going through some renovation but overall a great stay. Just one complaint - I have had to wait past 2 pm, having arrived at 11 am for check in as the rooms were not ready. Got I little impatient at 2 pm because I saw others who came after me but they had already been allocated their keys. I was with a young child and landed on an early flight hoping for an early check in. We then ventured off for a massage nearby hoping that our room would be ready in time by 2 pm (official check in time). However, it wasn’t ready until 2:30 pm and therefore I will not give full marks for the service.
GGuest UserThe property is in a great location, which was a definite plus. However, there is no permanent restaurant on-site. Although they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on your room booking, the setup isn’t always convenient. Additionally, some of the rooms are quite small, only large enough to fit one bed, so they may not be suitable if you’re planning for three people in one room. On the positive side, the staff was very supportive and attentive throughout our stay, which made a difference. When i visited that time, central system was not working, so they have provided a small room acs, which is relatively comfortable, but somehow to noisy.
YYANGAlthough this hotel is also called ibis. But sincerely it is far from the airport. If you take a taxi from the airport, it usually takes 40-50 minutes (this is still a good state of traffic at night). And the surrounding area is not very busy. It's rather biased. Of course, if you have a factory nearby, you can still live in
