”My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful 2-day getaway at this beautiful hotel, from the moment, check -in was quick and efficient. The hotel's beachfront location was perfect for us - we spent our days lounging on the sand and the long trail to stroll along the water side. we had a special and memorable time at the hotel. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic beach vacation. We can't wait to come back!”

Great location short walk from Temple Bar tourist area. The hotel was very clean and presentable. Room is on the smaller side but just what you need for a nights rest. Bathroom was excellent. Overall appearance seemed newly updated. Would stay again. Great price.
In order to facilitate self-service check-in, there was no staff at the hotel. There was only the self-service check-in process, email and phone. However, I had never received an access code before. No one answered the phone and emailed. Finally, other guests came back and let me in. I kept calling and waiting. Finally, one of the three calls was answered, but I didn't know the reservation information, so I kept waiting. Finally, half an hour later, I received a reply email. I waited for an hour just to get in. If you don't have this service capability, don't do self-service check-in.

Nice hotel but small rooms. Not sure I'd stay there again. Closest car park was a 10 minute walk over the other side of the river. Shower was good apart from no shelf to put shower gel on. Also no extractor fan in the bathroom so it seams up very quickly and every where gets wet and slippy. Also non of the TV channels worked.

Awesome hotel in a GREAT location for going to a concert at 3 arena (as we did) or simply exploring Dublin City either on foot or easy public transport links. Hotel is very well run, great staff, and the room was so clean, spacious and no street noise!!! Highly recommend. Please note photos were taken as we were leaving - so the mess is ours - the room was immaculate when we arrived!!

IIdalia TravelistaThis hotel was located to bus line 37. It had a yummy restaurant next door that served vegan friendly foods. The rooms were very comfortable for the price. You can grab the airport shuttle which is about 10 minute walk away. No need to use a taxi.
GGuest UserWe stayed here on our last night of a two week Ireland vacation to be near the airport for an early flight. We arrived in the evening and no air conditioning in our room!!! No one told us at check-in and I do not recall seeing anything about no ac on the website when booking. I looked on the company website prior to booking in addition to Trip.com. I purposely looked at each of our accommodations for air conditioning. Staff told us they were updating the hotel and there was a sign in the elevator. Nope, no sign about air conditioning in the elevator. It was too late to find another hotel when we realized we would not have air. Of the two windows in our room, only one opened. We were lucky it was not too hot and left first thing in the morning to get out of there.
Some communication would have been nice or at least apologies.
GGuest UserAmazing First Hostel Experience – Highly Recommend!
I had never stayed in a hostel before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect—but my stay at Generator Dublin completely exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and comforting.
The dorms were clean and well-maintained, and I was especially impressed with how spotless the bathrooms and toilets were. They even provide hair dryers, which is such a thoughtful touch.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay—special shoutout to Alex, who was always kind and approachable. The vibe downstairs was super fun and lively. Even if you don’t have plans for the evening, there’s plenty to do right at the hostel—games, live music, and a party-like atmosphere that makes it easy to meet people and just enjoy the night.
I was also lucky to have great dorm mates, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
All in all, staying at Generator Dublin as my first hostel experience was truly memorable and amazing. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and social place to stay in Dublin.

GGuest UserI was impresssed by the friendly welcome I was given at reception. Although I knew I couldn't book in till 2pm, I went early in the hope of them looking after my case. Not only do they do this for no extra charge but I was allowed into my room at 11.30am as it had been vacated.
The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing as Christchurch and St Patrick's Cathedral are within 5 mins' walk and Dublin Castle and the Esther Beatty exhibition, which is not to be missed, is just round the corner.
The room facilities were excellent with air conditioning unit, fridge, safe, coffee and tea making equipment, an iron and hairdryer and of course constant hot water for a shower.
Downstairs there was a restaurant and bar available with music in the evening, which stopped at a reasonable time. Breakfast was also served in the morning, simple but enough.
It was well worth the price charged simply because of its location.
Vvera babichVery good location, near city center, shopping and parks, short walk to tram and bus stops. Would have enjoyed it more if I was young adult looking to party - Harcourt street is a party street with abundant night life and variety of choices. Beware of famous night club literally adjacent to the hotel, open and crowded 7 days a week until 2:30 AM with loud dance music nd loud people having a good time. Hotel provided earplugs :) - very considerate of them. Building is historical, also meaning accommodations are last century, which, if you are into it - you might enjoy, (with 2 electrical outlets in entire room, no usb ports, separate hot and cold water faucets, slanted ”stationery” desk, etc). Staff was friendly and accommodating, simple breakfast of croissants and selection of teas, milk and instant coffee was provided daily and satiating enough to start the day.
Yyuan9485The hotel is located in the city center, close to Trinity College and the spire. The surrounding facilities are complete, the transportation is convenient and the bus routes extend in all directions. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the front desk staff are warm, thoughtful and meticulous.

GGuest UserExcellent location, staff helpful with any enquiries. They allowed us to check in even though 1 hour early. Breakfast was plentiful and good value. Will return if I travel to Dublin
