Clean and tidy. Very convenient airport hotel for an early flight or arriving late. A 3 minute walk to the check-in desks.
Breakfast was fantastic with a massive selection choice of Asian food. The best we have ever seen and made us wonder why this is only rated a 3 star hotel. Based on the breakfast alone I would give it 5 stars.
Initially, the hairdryer in my room was broken and wouldn't turn on. I tried calling customer service from the room phone four times, but no one picked up. Since I was already running late, I went down to the reception. They said they'd fix it, but after a long wait, it still wasn't done. I asked if there was another hairdryer I could use, but there wasn't. After repeatedly checking back in my room and getting nowhere, I decided to check out. Then, to my surprise, the key was missing, even though I had just used it, and they asked me to pay for it. I left 50,000 IDR and left because I was so late due to waiting for the hairdryer. Just five minutes after leaving, I received a call asking me to pick up a charger I supposedly left behind, but it wasn't even my charger. They also returned 100,000 IDR, my deposit, even though they hadn't given it back when I checked out. It was a bit strange, but I'll only be staying there once. In my opinion, the service was very poor.
We stayed here just for one night before catching the train the next day. The room itself was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable, which was perfect for a short stay.
However, all the rooms open directly onto the main lobby, so it gets very noisy early in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, this can definitely be disturbing. There’s also a very large dehumidifier in the corridor that makes a constant, unpleasant noise.
The service from the staff was very decent. But the room was severely lacking. The bed was sunken in …. There was an odor in the hallway. The air conditioning made a lot of noise. Non smoking rooms are indeed available but many guests flout the rules and if you’re unlucky like I was assigned a room next to a very heavy smoker the smoke from his room was entering mine through the gaps in the partition door.
The importance of welcoming guests who attend by a security guard or receptionist.
- The check-in process is smooth, good and requests are fulfilled.
- clean and tidy rooms, amenities available.
- TV channels are very bad, TV broadcasts are difficult to watch.
- the swimming pool was very busy and full, there were no officers on duty, the pool floor was very dirty with food and water waste, there were no officers to clean the area. There are not enough changing rooms for crowded conditions.
- The corridor floor is muddy and watery due to visitors.
- In the breakfast restaurant, many of the menus are out of stock, there are no seats because it is full of visitors, many people fight over food like village people who never eat well.
- the checkout process was good and there were no problems.
Hopefully in the future it will be more organized and improved for the better.
nice stay in swissbelin, thank you.
This hotel is very close to Kualanamu Airport, about 20 minutes by car.
The Wi-Fi service is fast, and the password even made me smile.
The reception staff were friendly and efficient, but when I asked for help with the luggage trolley, the communication with the staff on the ground was a bit slow to respond to the pager.
In the end, we only waited a few minutes, not hours, so it wasn’t a big problem.
The room was comfortable, just right for a transit stay while waiting for the next flight.
For the business trip was normal, nothing special. One of our colleagues got rooms with a broken AC. But it was nice cause this hotel together with A&W
I recently had the pleasure of staying and overall it left a very positive impression.

• It was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, spotless floors, and well-maintained furnishings.
🌅 Scenic Views
• The views from the room were stunning—whether it was city lights at night or a sweeping horizon during the day, the scenery was truly enjoyable.
strategic location, but the room feels stuffy, because the air circulation is not good

GGuest UserWonderful upscale hotel in Dolok Sanggul clearly catering to foreign tourists. It's an impressive place visually from the outside, with a roomy, partially open-air dining/restaurant area making full use of the beautifully mild climate of the mountainous area south of Lake Toba. Breakfast is served starting at 7am and the restaurant appears to be open all day, though service stops at 10pm except for room-service beverage requests. Beverages are primarily juices, teas and coffees, though beer is also an option (Bintang). Food options are a mix of Batak/Indonesia, Chinese and Western-style. Most of the Western options were either steaks or pasta, and they were out of the steak. Unfortunately, I ended up with food poisoning later that night but I don't think it's fair to ding them for that.
The room was very comfortable. An armoire for hanging clothes as well as another hanging rack. Complimentary towel and room slippers. Television had several HBO channels as well as more local programming, perhaps 12-15 stations total to choose from.
The bathroom is definitely oriented towards tourists. Some basic toiletries like toothbrush/toothpaste. Western-style flush toilet with both toilet paper and the traditional butt-gun water hose. Shower gave good hot water although controls were very touchy. There was a hand/body soap dispenser in the shower but no bar soaps in the bathroom or shampoo. There were no signs indicating you shouldn't drink the tap water but, it's Indonesia and you should never drink the tap water if you're a tourist. Two small bottles of water were in the room along with a coffee-maker.
Definitely a great option if you're in the area.

JJoonBondLocation is good, surrounding with local restaurants and mini mart for basic necessity.
Swimming pools located at the back, facing the lake. Depends on the room located, mostly needs to go down or up, therefore it's not suitable for people has limitation to climb the stairs.
Rooms is also basic, Breakfast is basic local food.
GGuest UserPariban hotel was a very nice place to stay near Berastagi. The surrounding area is beautiful at the base of Mt Sibayak. There are numerous hot springs nearby but Pariban also has a private hot spring pool for guests which is great. The amenities were okay, however we had to ask for a bathmat and toilet paper. Also the toilet cistern was leaking.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again however just be aware it is quite a way from the town of Berastagi and not ideal if you are wanting to do a sunrise hike of Mt Sibayak.
It's important to know that since it is quite far from Berastagi itself, if you book a private driver you may be charged extra to get here.

KKathrin-STRThe room was clean, but the sink was leaking and there was no soap provided. The breakfast area was overcrowded, and it was difficult to find a place to sit. The overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable, with the setup seeming focused primarily on accommodating large groups of Asian guests. Not a very pleasant stay.
ЕЕвгенийRoom with a window, with normal Wi-Fi. There is a large work desk, a large bed. The only thing missing is a refrigerator. This is one of the best hotels in the city, so we can safely recommend it for check-in.
Hearty breakfasts, a restaurant downstairs where you can eat throughout the day for not the highest prices. Good location next to a large shopping center, supermarket and night food outlets.
