The guy at the reception was rude when I first came to store my luggage. Never saw him again later, not sure if he is the boss. Anyway he was nice to the other guy came in later, who was obvious local speaker.
Also quite noisy at night, other guests came in and out making big noise.
Other things were good. Quite nice location. Good to have a kitchen.
Great Stay in Budapest – Highly Recommended!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Budapest. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from, making it a great way to start the day. The room was spotless and well-maintained, creating a very comfortable and relaxing environment. The location was perfect – it took less than 10 minutes to walk to Heroes’ Square, which made exploring the city so easy.
What really stood out, however, was the staff – everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest!
The bathroom was terrible; the toilet and shower flushed terribly. The hairdryer didn't work, and the room was unbearably hot. A very uncomfortable stay.
The hotel is conveniently located to major tourist attractions. Take 100E from airport to Deak Ferenc Ter & a 11min walk to hotel. Nearest train station is just less than 5 mins walk to hotel. There are many bus and tram routes just less than 5mins walk around the hotel. We could do day walks around the district and admire the architectural buildings. The hotel offers decent complimentary breakfast to all guests which is so convenient. St Stephen’s Basilica is just less than 8mins walk from the hotel. The advent markets started when we arrived. There are also several cafes and restaurants around. The service desks staff are very helpful and friendly. My check-in and checkout was a breeze. We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
Rooms: The room is surprisingly big with 2 separated sub-room, ideally for group of 4 with full essentials appliances.
Nearby activities: Very well located, 2m walk to the Danube and Széchenyi Chain Bridge.
Walkability: Next to the bus station, 3 minutes walk to Tram station.
Food and drinks: Good goulash soup and breakfast provided
I was traveling through Europe by motorcycle and passed through Budapest. Since I was traveling alone, I found a good value hotel in the city center!
The cleanliness, location, and service were excellent. The slightly older facilities and decor were understandable, considering the price was very affordable!
There were also many Chinese guests, and the front desk staff spoke English without any issues!
The location is good, right next to Heroes' Square and City Park. There's a delicious Turkish kebab shop just a few minutes' walk away, reasonably priced and with generous portions. The ambiance is nice, with European-style architecture to admire.
The bed in the room was damp because there are tall buildings opposite, so there's not much sunlight. The bathroom needs improvement; water leaks out after showering, forcing you to cover it with a towel. The air conditioning is really cold and seems unadjustable. The breakfast is mediocre. Not good value for money, not recommended.
A great hotel in its price category. Near (minute 7 walk) subway station.
The room is small but enough to stay. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator, fan.
Good breakfast. We had breakfast in a cozy interior courtyard - beauty.
From the downsides - noise isolation no and air conditioner is installed so that blows exactly on the bed (we had number 309)
Great place for a late arriving flight, much friendlier pricing than the hotels next to the airport. The breakfast is delicious and has a great variety. The room was somewhat small but for a single night and as a solo traveller this did not bother me. The shopping centre and metro station are just a few mins walk away from the building. I do recommend this establishment to fellow travellers.
Best wifi in IBIS in Europe. If you really need it, Get the business center wifi. And Very good location and free tea and water. Strongly recommend.

GGuest UserWhen I arrived at the hotel before 7 o'clock, I was nervous because the entrance door was closed, but when I looked around the intercom, there was a call code on it, so I just had to press it. I went inside just as the other guests were coming out. All the staff were kind and greeted me with a smile, making me feel at ease. A bottle of wine was included in the room and it was delicious!

GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.
SSavannah DVery good location, but you might need to bare in mind that it is in the city centre so it will be loud during the night. It located just right next to St. Stephen’s square. Walkable distance to the river.

AAnonymous UserLocation is uninteresting and the hotel is only worth the stay if you absolutely need to be at this location (stadium or bus station). The room I got was small and dark, facing inward and without windows that could open. I asked to change to a room facing the street with more natural light but was told there were no free rooms left. Instead I received a coupon for a free drink in the restaurant, which was a nice gesture but did not solve the problem because the music was too loud to be able to work quietly there. The breakfast (not included; approx. HUF 4000 or EUR 10 ) was good value for money. Staff was very friendly (except for one male receptionist) but inexperienced and slow. Absolutely ridiculous that no drinking water is provided nor a water kettle in the room to boil (chlorine) tap water. I ended up having to buy two tiny bottles (250 cl) for HUF 1200 (EUR 3) each at the reception. If it wasn't for it's proximity to the bus station (Flixbus) I would not stay here.
AAnonymous UserNice hotel. The main attractions are a bit far away, but the famous Szimpla Kert bar is very close.
The reception is a little slow. The room looks a bit old and has not been cleaned during the stay.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very clean, modern and the location couldn't be better. All sights are within walking distance and the metro and bus stops too. In the morning a wide range of breakfast. The hotel room itself is very neat and has good air conditioning. All in all I could hardly find any negatives. For the price this is great.
BBrunoLMWe stayed for one night and, while the experience was acceptable, we wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
Although we had booked a premium double room, we were given a twin room instead. We had to push the beds together, which was not ideal. The room felt outdated and could use renovation. There were no light sensors or automatic switches to save energy. The bathroom had a noticeable drain smell. Also, the kettle was placed in a spot without a power socket, so we had to move it to the dresser to make tea — though the tea selection was good.
Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was ready earlier than expected, which we appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, with gluten-free options and plant-based milks. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
The elevator was very slow and noisy. In the early morning, we could clearly hear doors slamming and elevator sounds from our room.
A decent option for a short stay, but we’ll look elsewhere next time.

GGuest UserA great stay. The transportation is very convenient. Supermarkets and subway stations are very close.
The room rate is good value for money, the room is spacious and clean. The double bed is big, but the bedding is small. I used two 90cm wide beddings. The front desk staff is very friendly. The breakfast staff is attentive. They did not chase me away when they were done cleaning, and let me continue to finish breakfast. They did not think that I was hindering their work.
