My girlfriend and I spent a weekend there. The staff were kind and helpful, the location was convenient, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Excellent value for money!
It was very good hotel, room was very small but equipped with all necessary facilities. Breakfast was superb and have huge selection. We had two negative experiences, first day hotel AC was not working and they changed the room next day. One day they have water shutdown from 11am to 8 pm and that was very bad experience but they did what they can. All the staff was very helpful and cooperative. I hope after renovations they will become a very good option in Budapest. They have no tea/ coffee arrangement in the room which hopefully will be included if they go under IHG group.
Excellent location - metro, bus and tram stops right outside the hotel entrance, and Keleti train station is also a 10-minute walk away. The pillow in the room was very thin, but the receptionist gave me a second, better one. The automatic air conditioning system makes some noise at night, but by the second day I got used to it and it wasn't a problem. The only toiletries available were liquid soap. I asked for a bar of regular soap at reception, but there wasn't any. The toilet seat was a little loose and the shower wall bracket was broken.
The apartment complex is located on the corner of two quiet side streets. The nearest metro station, Blaha Lujsa-ter, as well as the Keleti train station, are easily accessible on foot. The new building, completed in 2026, is naturally still in good condition, very clean, and was presumably intended for apartment rentals. The apartments that are currently vacant are being rented out to tourists like hotel rooms. The booked breakfast for two people for two days was already there upon arrival, but unfortunately, the portions weren't very generous and were eaten on the first day. It seems we were expecting two more portions for the following day... Well, a little diet never hurt anyone! What was practically non-existent was the Wi-Fi, which only connected for a few minutes at a time before disconnecting again. The furnishings were rather spartan, which is due to the intended use as long-term rentals – the future tenants are meant to furnish the apartment to their own taste. The fairly large eat-in kitchen, estimated at 25 square meters, didn't feel particularly inviting as a result. The bedroom, with the necessary minimum distance between the double bed and the walls, was very cozy. The bathroom had a shower head built into the bathtub – a real challenge for anyone who showers without flooding the bathroom. The small balcony shouldn't be forgotten; it offers enough space for two people to enjoy the fresh air – and it's also a good place to dry laundry and umbrellas.
Considering the many old, small, and worn-out hotel rooms out there, this is definitely a worthwhile addition, but not preferable to a true four-star hotel.
The location is super convenient! From the airport, I took the 200E bus and then the M3 metro, and it was just a few hundred meters' walk. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, it's close to Liberty Bridge, and right in front of the hotel is Elisabeth Bridge. The breakfast spread was great, and they even gave a complimentary bottle of water upon check-in.
Staying on a boat hotel is different and fun. This one was in a prime location, diagonally across from the Parliament buildings. Our cabin was small but comfortable, with padded, fabric-covered walls for a cozy feeling and good sound insulation. We enjoyed walking the upper deck at night, watching the moon rise over the bridge. The breakfast room was nicely situated to take advantage of the river view, and the breakfast itself was good. All the staff was extremely courteous and professional. Would stay there again, and recommend to others.
Very close to the subway station (and major attractions). The staff at the front desk speak good English. The facilities are new. They even helped me print documents for free and provided a file folder.
Overall
Enjoyed staying at this place. Cozy and safe and located in the centre. easy access to almost all the tourist attractions.
A bit noisy at night but I could rest without any problems.
The hotel entrance is difficult to find. It is between the bank and burger king
Cleanliness
Not sure what kind of daily cleaning was available but I could get fresh towels and I could ask to empty the bin.
They are very nice but I asked to hoover the room, which wasn’t available…
Facilities
Shower pressure is good. Hot water is hot enough to relax.
For the kettle, it is not set in the room. You need to ask at the reception desk.
Good location and convenient. Public transport is within 100-300 meters. Heroes square is hardly 300 meters. Rooms were clean and comfortable only thing missing was the electric kettle and complimentary coffee/tea and water. Bar opens 24/7 with many options of drinks and coffee but very limited options for food. Breakfast was good.
Located in the hippest neighborhood of Pest. Just be aware that you need to pay a 10 euro deposit for the dormitory room.

GGuest UserWhen I arrived at the hotel before 7 o'clock, I was nervous because the entrance door was closed, but when I looked around the intercom, there was a call code on it, so I just had to press it. I went inside just as the other guests were coming out. All the staff were kind and greeted me with a smile, making me feel at ease. A bottle of wine was included in the room and it was delicious!

GGuest UserHotel Review: A Cozy Stay in Budapest
I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in Budapest, and my experience was quite pleasant.
Overall Ambiance:
This hotel offers a more home-like environment rather than the traditional professional hotel experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, which made it easy to unwind during my stay.
Location:
While the hotel may appear to be slightly distant from the city center, I found that accessing the main attractions was not an issue. With a variety of convenient transportation options, including trams and the metro, reaching the heart of Budapest was straightforward and manageable. It’s an ideal location for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while still being easily connected.
Service:
The receptionist staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I appreciated their attentiveness; they would knock multiple times before entering the room, ensuring guest comfort and privacy. Additionally, the option to store my luggage at the hotel after check-out was a significant advantage, allowing me to explore the city without the burden of my bags.
Room Comfort and Amenities:
My room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was decent, providing a good night’s sleep. Despite my short one-night stay, I found the accommodations to be more than satisfactory.
Dining:
The breakfast section offered a variety of options, making it a pleasant way to start the day. I found the selection to be adequate and enjoyable, contributing to a positive overall experience.
Conclusion:
In summary, if you’re seeking a quiet retreat away from the city’s hectic pace, this hotel in Budapest is a commendable choice. With its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and accessible location, it provides a comfortable base for both short and extended stays. My experience was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it to others looking for a relaxed stay in Budapest.
GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.
RRomstarFun from the very start. You gò to reception on floor 1/2 in a moaning old lift. Lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating. You couldn't get any closer to St. Stephens cathedral!! The room we stayed in was a studio on the 4th floor, but facing away from the views. No problem, as it's right outside the front door!! Close to many wonderful sights, metro, trams, and bus stops. Some of the kitchen items could do with an upgrade. Unsure if off season travel and prices effected the cleaning service? But we saw leftover moments from previous guests all over the room. And we couldn't make the tv work, but who needs tv when in Budapest??! But for short-term term visit, great central location!! 👍
QQuaisoir ImajicaThe room was cozy and the beds were comfortable. There's no kettle though so I can't make my morning coffee. The location was opposite the bus terminal so it's easy to travel to and from other cities by bus. There's no shops nearby but we had friends to drive us around and the location was near their residence so that's a plus. Bus stop to the city is nearby. Love the lobby.

LLouis JoeThe bed was clean, cosy, and inviting, offering a comfortable place to unwind after long days. Sleeping arrangements were clearly well taken care of, contributing to a restful experience. The room met expectations in both comfort and cleanliness. Facilities were in good working order and caused no issues. As a whole, the stay was pleasant and free of hassle.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very clean, modern and the location couldn't be better. All sights are within walking distance and the metro and bus stops too. In the morning a wide range of breakfast. The hotel room itself is very neat and has good air conditioning. All in all I could hardly find any negatives. For the price this is great.
GGuest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, which is good for peace and quiet. It's right next to a stadium. The breakfast was standard, nothing too lavish. A small incident: there were bees on the curtain in my room, and I actually got stung.
