JJosueThe front of the hotel can be misleading, as the hotel is actually quite nice. The rooms are pretty good. The pool area is large and well designed, and have a bar right there. A lot of the rooms have view to the pool. The tennis/basketball/indoor soccer field is great, with roof. They have pool tables, table tennis and foosball. The restaurant is 24/7, which comes in very handy, and also adds the advantageof not being tied to a specific schedule for the free breakfast that's included. Parking can be a little confusing at first, but it's actually close to the rooms (I would improve it by addign signs on the road indicating how to get to the parking lot).
AAntenor Jr.Otherwise amazing hotel plagued by rude staff and tour buses. First, this a hotel is used by Americans in bus tours - expect hundreds of them any given time. Second, the staff is incredibly rude. We had an issue with our keys and the reception employee, Ana Belen, refused to help us or even try to understand the issue. TV turned up by itself in the middle of the night. The toilet flush situation is terrible, there is simply no pressure. The good thing, hotel is nearby the Cloud Reserve, breakfast is good and pool looks good.
GGuest UserThis is the third time we have stayed in nYa, and once again we loved it. Great comfort, great service, nature all around, peace and balance. Thank you to all involved in making nYa such a great --and safe-- place to spend our holidays. And, of course, the food is perfect. What a treat for breakfast a la carte to be included in the room rate. Please try Keylor at Ubin's smoked salmon (out of this world!). We hope to be back soon.
AAnonymous UserSo I have to say: this hotel has done me very well. I didn't want to leave the Mountain Top Park Hotel anymore and I really liked it last day. First to the room: I had a room with view to the mountain (I think with view to the sea costs again extra, but you don't need it at all because the view to the mountains is really beautiful. ) It was indescriptably nice to wake up every morning with such a look. I also saw many birds like Tukanes, Adlers or Ara papayas flying over the tree crowns during my stay. As you have read, there are incredibly many free live animals in the large hotel area (the hotel is almost in a piece of rainforest). I have seen more animals here than in the Manuel Antonio National Park like faults or monkeys (the last day we even discovered a fault with a breed). In any case, makes the free morning tour with guide. It is really great to walk over the hanging bridges and watch out for animals. The staff is SUPER. The rooms are clean and modern (they are just a little bright, but with earstops is no problem). So all in all was a memorable stay and I regret no cent :) PS: Let you take the golf cart from the reception to the hotel, it's too hard to run up.
GGuest UserThe hotel is perfectly located directly at the beach. We enjoyed very much the air conditioning in the room, as outside was very, very hot and humid. The receptionists were very helpful - the young man let us use his personal charger and the woman let us check in a bit earlier than the regular time. Breakfast staff was very friendly, too. The rooms were quite big and very clean, but the bed was not comfortable. I would recommend the hotel further. Thank you!
GGuest UserStayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. Very clean and comfortable and excellent friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pools and tennis courts, also pool tables. For those into fitness there is a Gym on the property with all sorts of equipment for exercising. Ipad size safe in the room. WIFI, breakfast, and onsite parking included. Would definately return someday....hopefully for a longer stay.
GGuest UserThis is a WONDER-FULL place to visit!!! Accommodation is spacious, open, beautiful, down to earth, quiet. Walk down to waterfall for a swim each day was good exercise and delicious. Birdwatching tour with Allan was so informing... his enthusiasm is contagious. I recommend this Nature reserve for a laid back easy vacation. I will be back again. Staff is honest, sincere and caring.
GGuest UserThe place was awesome on top of a hill with a great view of the Nicoya gulf overlooking Tortuga Island. Going up to the place is a bit rough but I managed to go up and down a few times with a sub compact SUV. I guess it will be very tough when it rains and you'll definitely need a 4x4. Jose, Dennis and the rest of the crew are very nice, polite and helpful.
GGabrielAmazing hotel that is perfectly located in Santa Teresa. It is very clean, the room was huge and the pool is really relaxing. Daily breakfast is delicious and the staff are very helpful. Also there is a nice library to pick books out of.
Amazing value for money, I will certainly be returning.
JJFP WatsonFantastic view, Fantastic room. Fantastic food. Fantastic pool.
The only drawback was the distance to the beach. Foreigners are charged $6 to access the closest one which takes 25 minutes to walk. The next closest is 8km.
Bottom line is: I'd gladly stay here again.
