Loved our stay at Songzhuju! One of the plus points owner can converse in English which makes it easier for non chinese travellers. They have washer and dryer for guest to use, and the location is near to the Old Town North Gate, 2-3 min walking distance. We loved the hospitality, owner greet us with Pu Er Tea and helped with our luggage, she even suggested us to go visit a coffee house at Baisha Town with breathtaking view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain! The room was beautiful, as per photos and bed super comfy! They can arrange to pick you up for free at the railway station to hotel, and also arrange going back to the railway station with only 40 yuan (I have checked and its cheaper than didi considering they helped us with our heavy luggage etc. all the way to the entrance) Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stay at this hotel.

At first it was a little confusing because the hotel’s lobby located at 6th floor. The english is not so good (as usual) but the communication can be done via translator. The front desk are very helpful and will try their best to communicate despite the language barrier. The room is clean, good view. I had my friend booking with no windows room and it’s actually decent too. They actually have windows just that it faced inside the building. Not bad and not as claustrophobic as i thought it would. It’s located along ninping street, although it’s felt like on the end side of the road. So you need to walk quite a bit yo the centre side of the road. The gym is very basic probably just 3 equipments at level 6. The laundry is also at level 6. In general i would recommend. I have no complaint for my one night stay. Love it. The owner and staffs are very helpful even before you stay. Gave good advice for the trip. Clean accommodations, good view rooms, looking out to see Yulong Snow Mountain view as shown in the picture. Especially the 5th floor has a beautiful view. In the evening you can go see the sunset. This place gives me a very warm and calm feeling. There’re a hand -drawn butter tea from Tibet prepare for guests, and you don’t miss afternoon tea was really delicious. I highly recommended this place! I love to play with little zhōngqiū as well, she’s very friendly 😁

This is a well priced option in the city. It is about a 20-minute walk from the main Kunming railway station, so for those arriving at Kunming airport late when the metro has stopped running, you can take the airport bus to the railway station and walk to the hotel. The hotel is also a short 5 min walk away from the nearest metro station Tangzixiang, which is a convenient interchange station. There are only a few food options near the hotel but a walk to the Tangzixiang area throws up more. No amenities like a pool etc - typical of an Ibis but for the price paid, no complaints. Did not tru their breakfast so cannot comment. Night front desk staff can be a little rushed despite being professional.

The temperature goes down to -10 at night but you can hardly feel it while inside the rooms. Their insulation is very good and the room feels warm everyday even without floor heating. Only downside was the low ceiling which we were not warned about. Hence, be extra careful when walking around in the room. The hosts are very helpful and would fetch/send us with the luggages to the North Gate. It’s within 5-10 mins walk to 四方街 and the 转经筒. Beautiful view of the whole 古城, which also means that it’s an upslope walk back to the accommodation. The dryer will be turned off between 11pm-930am everyday, but the hosts will kindly help you with your laundry if you ask! Highly recommended and one of my favourite stays in Yunnan!

The location of this hotel is superb, especially for people who are leaving the city on high speed railway, which is located right next to this hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children, there's a voice-control smart home system in the room where you can control the lights and curtains by summoning ”小度”, it was quite fun for the kids. The hotel doesn't look grand from the outside, but inside everything was well maintained and functional. Our room's window directly faced the main road, but sound proofing was good and it was quiet. Centralised air-con but no smell of cigarette smoke. If i have to try hard to pick something and make suggests, the hand basin was a little small and water splashes onto the floor easily. Consider changing to a bigger washing machine and better dryer, because it took me 4-5 hours to dry the clothes after washing and your washing machine and dryer were in high demand, ha ha. But those are not big issues, this hotel is still a very good one. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended hotel. I book the family room. It was clean and comfortable bed. Kids love to look at the stars through the ceiling before bed time. The couple ( owner ) were very accommodating and kind. After checking in, the boss lady asked us if we were hungry, and recommended a local restaurant nearby. She brought us there. And the husband also concern about the kids and told us, the weather was cold and need more protection for them. They let us borrowed their traditional/ local fleece cover. The best service that were given to us was that, they offer us a free ride to railway station for free! Awesome service. Thank you.

Lovely place. The location is super convenient, as it’s near the ancient city exit, so can save energy carrying luggage. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and cute dog. The room is spacious, quiet and clean. The ancient style design and flowery courtyard blend into Lijiang’s atmosphere and add to the charm.

We stayed for one night at Lijiang Pure Sunshine, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the ancient city and the snow-capped mountains of Lijiang. Me and friends chose this guest house as our last stay in Lijiang. We just came back from our Shangrila and Yading trip. We fell in love with the place. We should’ve stay for more days here. The room is perfect. They have everything you need. The bathtub, washing machine, comfortable bed even give you breakfast and fruits. The owner is really really nice and very down to earth. One of the brother (big brother) also very funny, will always give you his biggest smile. His laugh is indeed contagious. Even though we only stay for one night, the service is really top notch. They will help with your luggage when you are check in and out. I highly recommend this stay for foreigner like us, because the brothers are really nicest people that I know in Lijiang. They are very genuine and kind. They also run a tea shop next door and grow their own tea! How cool is that! Highly recommend this guest house when you’re staying in Lijiang. The place is close to old town gate. Easy to get didi. Just walk within 5 min to the main road (near Intercontinental hotel). Thank you brothers! I will see you again when I come to Lijiang!

Good place, great view and environment, comfortable, friendly host. The hotel is uphill but the taxis can bring you very close (top of 狮山路 shishanlu，a few taxis are actually waiting here). Adress to use : 狮子山万古楼景区北门-售票处 And by foot, go down the other way, it's close to the center of the old town.

This homestay was great. The location is perfect to be both near the main road in case you need to get a didi or explore outside the old town, but also perfect to explore the old town itself. The bed was okay, the pillows are not very comfortable. It's quite clean, the only two things we found were a grape behind the bathroom door and the drain of the shower was clogged so the water was overflowing, we cleaned it ourselves. Overall, it's clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. Also, the room with the round bathtub doesn't have a bathroom door, just a curtain, but the one without tub does have a door, so keep that in mind when choosing your room.

I don’t like to write reviews, but this B&B gave me a very good experience. I’ll write briefly about it. The owner of the B&B is very enthusiastic. The room is clean, tidy and well-lit. The price is also beautiful. The room overlooks I and my family are very satisfied with the scenery of the ancient town. We will come again in the future. By the way, the coffee made by the boss is great.

We were a bit confused with the hotel name. It's called Wanderland Hotel. Thankfully the staff at South Ring Road metro station was very helpful. It was quite a distance for us to walk. Took us about 25mins as we had to drag our luggage. We enjoyed our 4 nights stay here very much. Staff was friendly and helped us with booking our 1st didi ride to Green Lake. We left our toothbrush charger at the airport hotel and the lady helped us contact the hotel and arranged the charger to be courier to us. Enjoyed the daily breakfast of mi xian and local breakfast items. Their flower tea is good too. No complaints on the hotel room. It was clean and didn't have cigarettes smell. The railway station is just behind this hotel. About 20mins walk or you can use didi. Very convenient. Only complaint was our room was facing the main road and one morning we were woken up by people talking on the street at wee hours. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Stayed here after a domestic flight from Shangri-la that landed at midnight while waiting for our departure back to home at 7am the next morning. The hotel is located conveniently within the airport itself and there were 24hr dining options available nearby for a late night supper. Checking in was a little tedious as each and every guest had to fill up a form with details that had been provided through the booking. However, other than that, we enjoyed the cozy room with a good bed and the toilet had a strong water pressure / hot water allowing us to have a comfortable rest in between flights.

It is close to Kunming Changshui Airport and provides airport pick-up and drop-off services, which is quite convenient. The driver of the shuttle bus is also very kind. The accommodation environment is relatively clean, but the sound of the plane landing at the airport is a pity.

We stayed at a comfortable hotel. We checked in around 3 AM, and the front desk service was available 24/7. Upon entering our room, it did not disappoint us. All the standard amenities were available, and the water heater, water pressure, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We received a complimentary coffee voucher for redemption the next day. Unfortunately, the coffee tasted rather bizarre. Overall, we were happy with our stay due to the hotel's location, price, and the functionality of the room.

This is my favourite place to stay in Kunming. Location is perfect, just a few minutes from Green Lake and the Huashan Xilu metro station. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As for the rooms, they are small but convenient and comfortable, and very clean. But what really makes Upland really special in my opinion is the lovely courtyard and terrace. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing stay at this BnB for 2 nights. The host helped to arrange for pick up service before we arrived and also sent us to the railway station when we left. They were also really friendly and hospitable throughout our entire stay. Breakfast was simple and homely but good. Some insects were in our room which came in through open window and the host helped to resolve the issue really quickly! Highly recommend :)

The Yunduan Nanshe Homestay is an outstanding but very affordable hotel located near the ancient city in Dali. You can perfectly plan to stay one or two nights of your holidays in this place to enjoy all the landmarks and activities around the hotel. The hotel is not bad for the price. The staff are friendly and rooms have all the amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo and soap. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool at the rooftop with great views to the city. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars within 10 min or less walking distance.

Location was convenient in the Dali ancient town, you’re on the bustling street which also means that you will have to put up with the traffic noise and jam. It wasn’t as “courtyard”-ish as I would have imagined it from the pictures. Rooms were decent sized and generally clean. Our booking came with free pickup/drop off which we used for the next morning to the train station. but it caused us a little anxiety as the counter was empty in the morning, and we were left waiting without knowing what car number the transport was. Had to jump through several loops to reach the owner who was still asleep.

Very happy with this homestay, it is clean, spacious room with big shower place and about 13 mins walk to the Dali old town. You can ask the staff there if you are not sure about something , they will give some advice on it. They are all young people, very helpful and easy to communicate. I had swollen legs at day 1, 小钟先生 offers me 云南白药喷雾 and it really works! We had difficulty in calling Didi, maybe our train was early + their 清明节, the guy use his Hp to book Didi for us while I also trying, see which one can get fast response, luckily Didi respond on his hp, and we paid him back afterwards, really appreciated !

The scenery is really beautiful, with an unobstructed sea view. The auntie who cooked in the morning was also very attentive. The room facilities are a bit old and cheap, and the air conditioning is not very smooth, but it is worth it for the scenery.

This is a perfect place to stay with the view of the lake with the mountains background. Just a room kinda small space. But the bed is comfortable ☺️ Near to Santorini Park with 10 mins walk. Love Dali! 🥰 For the muslim, if want to find halal food, need to take Didi to Muslim Meishi Street (about 1 hour). No issue for us as we bring some halal food and bought some buns from halal bakery there.

Excellent location, beautiful rooms, friendly reception and prompt service 👌🏼. Breakfast vouchers received at check-in to be had at nearby noodle shop - this was the only downside to our stay, because the place and food was an “acquired taste” 🤗. We chose to have our breakfasts at other restaurants. I loved the stay though! Can highly recommend 👌🏼

WOW The room is beautiful and clean. Self-check-in is easy. The room is big and suitable for family or friends. In front of the accommodation, there is a restaurant with complete facilities. The best thing is the view from the room is very beautiful. I highly recommend this accommodation for those who come to Dali and like beautiful views from high floors.
