In our free time, sitting on the balcony, enjoying the gentle breeze from the lake, gazing at the clear water and the rolling green mountains in the distance, with clouds lazily drifting across the sky – it was so peaceful and therapeutic. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Relaxing indoors and enjoying the view was incredibly comfortable and refreshing, instantly washing away the fatigue of travel."

"Tired of the monotonous daily grind, I decided to take a break and clear my head. Dali during the off-season is quite pleasant; it’s lovely to just walk around and explore. Alternatively, picking a nice, comfortable hotel to unwind and breathe is also a great option... (After much deliberation, I finally booked this one.) As soon as you open the door, you can see the Cangshan Mountains, flowing clouds, and the ancient town. Walk a short distance downstairs and you’re at Dali Ancient Town. It’s a perfect location, quiet yet convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The room features tasteful soft furnishings and furniture. The common areas are also very well-designed, blending contemporary art and modern minimalism with Bai ethnic elements. Every corner offers a beautiful view, creating a wonderful ambiance... I particularly love the swimming pool on the second floor and the rooftop terrace. They're perfect for relaxing or enjoying afternoon tea. It’s good to allow yourself to 'waste' time on beautiful things."

"The views are great, and the prices are surprisingly good. However, there's no food available after 7 PM, only BBQ. It's a bit far from the ancient town, so you'll need an electric scooter to get around. The owner, an uncle, runs the place himself and is very welcoming and provides excellent service. They offer complimentary fruit upon check-in and delicious, freshly prepared breakfast in the morning. Absolutely wonderful!"

Also on the second day, there was no butter at the breakfast service. So unfortunately, had to deduct 1 star for amenities."
