Dali City Hotels with Gym

After comparing several options for my Dali vacation, I finally settled on Nefertiti, and it was the luckiest decision of my entire trip! The guesthouse has a refreshing Santorini vibe, with perfect photo opportunities everywhere you look. The infinity pool and terrace hot tubs directly face the entire Erhai Lake, offering breathtaking views of Cangshan's sunset glow and the ocean at dusk. Every shot turns out stunning without any filters needed. The location is truly unbeatable, just a ten-minute drive from Dali High-Speed Railway Station. The hotel provides a complimentary pick-up service, and the butler contacted me in advance to confirm my arrival time, so I didn't have to worry about my heavy luggage at all. Getting a taxi or ordering takeout was incredibly convenient. The amenities are top-notch, with a full smart home control system. A Dyson hairdryer, disposable bath towels, face towels, steam eye masks, mouthwash, laundry detergent, disinfected slippers, and a complete set of toiletries are all provided, showcasing attention to detail at every turn. The room was spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows and a scenic balcony. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the entire room was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, ensuring several nights of sound sleep. The public areas offer a wealth of facilities, including a gym, a private cinema, a mahjong/card room, and a sea-view afternoon tea restaurant. The sea-view dining by the pool was fantastic, and the freshly ground coffee was exceptional. The butlers and staff were gentle and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. They were genuinely warm and friendly, and even proactively recommended local hidden gems and authentic eateries, helping us avoid tourist traps. We even received occasional heartwarming surprises. Upon checkout, the hotel gifted us flower cakes embossed with 'Dali,' available in four flavors. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought into preparing these souvenirs for guests. This place is perfect for couples, families, or friends traveling together. With new facilities, meticulous service, stunning views, and incredible value for money, my entire stay was comfortable and relaxing, curing all my travel fatigue. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and next time I visit Dali, I'll definitely choose Nefertiti again!

We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we'd booked more nights here rather than near the Dali old town, it's location is great, the room is really comfortable and the staff are always helpful. The hotel appears to be newly built and a bit rustic upon the first look but is actually a hidden gem. The amenities in the room are great, we especially enjoyed the water pressure. Hotel guests can get vouchers to use the full sized gym on the second floor, which is much better equipped than hotel gyms and super convenient. We would definitely return to stay here next time we're in Dali.

Extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the South Gate of the old city, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. We stayed in a rooftop room with an absolutely stunning view! We had a close-up look at the majestic Cangshan Mountains and the mysterious clouds circling them. The service was very attentive! The front desk staff were so kind, and a charming young man enthusiastically helped us with our luggage both when checking in and checking out. [Room Perks] Brand-name hydrating facial mask: After a relaxing bath in the evening with bath salts and rose petals, applying a face mask was pure bliss!

The location is at the North Gate of the Ancient City. I chose the North Gate because there's a North City Farmers' Market nearby, which I highly recommend visiting. After shopping there, I bought some fruits and wild mushrooms, and the hotel manager kindly helped us cook a mushroom hotpot. It was much fresher and more delicious than the frozen mushrooms you get at restaurants outside. The hotel has great views and is very quiet. The person in picture six is the manager, she's super friendly and helpful – you can't go wrong asking her for anything. It's suitable for family trips; you can rent electric scooters right outside the hotel to visit various farms, the Cangshan cable car, and Wuwu Temple. An electric scooter is perfectly sufficient!

The hotel staff was extremely welcomimg and caring. We truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fresh Soy Bean Milk and their local delicious fresh corn every morning. We were offered a ride around the lake by the hotel manager, he showed us the best places to buy authentic Yunnan Tea outside of the main tourist traps and received a small gift on our departure. It felt more like staying with friends than being just another customer at the hotel. The room was super nice, clean and we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Back in Dali, I decided to revisit the Xianyun 360-degree Cliff Seaview Hot Spring B&B, and it truly lived up to expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly polite and attentive. I later found out that the humble and helpful manager, who was always ready to assist, was also from Beijing, which made me feel right at home. The B&B's environment is serene and immaculate. The private hot spring pool in the room is definitely the highlight. Soaking in the hot spring, you're directly facing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it's like a landscape painting come to life. During my downtime, I loved sitting on the balcony, gazing at Cangshan and Erhai, which was incredibly therapeutic after a long journey. The restaurant's dishes were delicious and flavorful. My experience was as excellent as ever, truly a hidden gem of a seaview B&B. Choosing to stay here twice speaks volumes about its reliable quality. I specifically chose this hotel because it's very close to Dali Station. I often stay at Hilton's budget brands for transit, and while the price here wasn't low, and the hardware was relatively new, the overall experience was truly disappointing. I booked a garden view room, expecting to see a courtyard, but opening the window revealed a direct view of an urban village, with a parking lot right below. It felt nothing like a 'garden' at all. The breakfast, in particular, was a huge letdown. The self-service area was just a tiny mini-island with salad, fruit, yogurt, egg tarts, and sliced bread – a pitifully small selection. There were hardly any Western pastries, not even a simple croissant. Besides that, there was only a noodle station with 'crossing the bridge' rice noodles, and what looked like overnight fried rice and noodles. The quality was even worse than a 30-yuan hot spring hotel breakfast. What you see in the picture is pretty much all there was to eat. After reading other reviews that mentioned a pool, beach, and children's water toys, I seriously wonder if I went to the wrong hotel. On the positive side: the self-service laundry area was excellent, clean, and comfortable. Also, there's a wide variety of takeout options around the hotel, making ordering food very convenient. These two points are a big plus for business travelers and those staying overnight in transit. While the location, laundry facilities, and takeout options are suitable for a layover, considering the price, the discrepancy in views and breakfast offerings is significant. I'd advise lowering your expectations before checking in.

Dali Ma Jiuyi and then take a look at the sea view courtyard inn is amazing! The facilities are high-end, the room is very well equipped, the large floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view, and the bathtub is simply enjoyable to watch the sunset. The environment is beautiful, the courtyard flowers and plants are scattered, and the sea view terrace is a blockbuster. The service is super intimate, the butler is warm and thoughtful, free luggage pick-up and drop-off, and fruit is also delivered. The hygiene is impeccable, the bedding is clean and soft, the daily deep cleaning, and even the corners are spotless. Definitely the first choice for a holiday on the Erhai Sea!

We stayed in room 8318, a C-type room on the 3rd floor, and our stay at the Underwater World Hotel was truly a delightful surprise! My child was excited from the moment we entered the lobby, eagerly anticipating seeing the fish 🐠💙. The underwater view from the room was stunning, and my husband even arranged a dive to interact with us from the tank, which thrilled our child 😂❤️. In the morning, we booked the spectacular Golden Storm show, which was a fantastic experience! If you want to see larger marine life like manta rays, sharks, and sea turtles, I highly recommend choosing a room on the 2nd floor – the view is incredible! However, you will also see the aquarium's walkway from the 2nd floor, so you can choose based on your preference. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable experience, and perfect for a family trip with children! 🌊🐢🦈💙

Location is perfect, just few minutes to go to Dali ancient city by walking. The owner can speak English very well. Friendly and helpful
