Beautifully designed hotel with excellent high level views of Erhai. The room interiors are also toddler friendly - the bedside tables have chamfered edges (no sharp corners). They gave a super cute Pullman giraffe plushie too that was very good quality. Kid loved it so so much. More on the room tho. Really beautiful, very relaxing. Really nice seating area in front of the windows, I didn't want to check out. I didn't even want to leave the room during the stay. Breakfast buffet spread was also very delicious. Ate two bowls from the noodle bar and a bit of everything else in one sitting.

Great location in the old town. Room was clean, had enough amenities but the heater was not working. My room was on the 2nd floor overlooking their cafe but I felt the curtains did not provide enough privacy. Breakfast was a small buffet spread and it gets busy around 8am when many people check-out, so there was a wait for a clean table. Guests bring outside food which is not appropriate, in my opinion, but it might be a local custom.

Let me first talk about the arrangement of this trip, which is 5 days and 4 nights. Considering that the most important thing for taking a baby who can just run out is safety, hygiene, convenience and worry-free for walking the baby, so the hotel prefers to have a yard or a mountain view room. We chose Mengdie Manor because we had arrived in Dali for three days and wanted to continue playing. We decided to upgrade to a single-family private hot spring courtyard villa after comparing the various room types of the hotel. Location: Located next to the North Gate of Dali Ancient City, the location is convenient but not noisy at all. Crossing the North Gate Street, the white walls and green tiles, the green trees are shady and quiet and elegant. Style: Mainly Chinese style, with a slight Southeast Asian style. The yard of the single-family house is very large and beautiful! The solid wood pavilion, rattan sofa, reclining chair with cotton and linen soft furnishings are very suitable for lying down and swimming. Children can play freely in the yard. There is no need to worry about safety issues when the yard door is closed. The sense of private space is very good, and there is no need to worry about disturbing others or being disturbed by others. The aesthetics of the hotel are completely in our hearts, with green tiles and white walls, one step at a time, and the green plants outside each floor-to-ceiling window are like a painting. The exclusive butler Xiao Zhu we met this time was thoughtful and had a very good attitude. During the stay, he quickly solved some of the needs caused by the inconvenience of bringing children for us. You must like it! Give Xiao Zhu's service a 💯 score! High-speed rail station delivery service is a blessing for us who are carrying luggage and children. Make an appointment with the butler Xiao Zhu in advance. The driver arrived on time, the service was standardized, and the connection was seamless, saving the trouble of dragging the box to find a car. What is touching is that the butler Xiao Zhu and his children came to the room to help with the luggage, and also sent a travel energy pack. There are fruits, snacks and umbrellas! Highly recommend - Room view is amazing, location not too far from Dali Santorini, staff and boss were super friendly and nice service is superb. On the day we check out while waiting for dinner at restaurant n driver, we were chatting with the boss who treated us to his tea collection. We got a small souvenir from the hotel itself which is really very sweet of them. food is not bad too canton cuisine. Understand fr boss the chefs were specially hired from 5star hotels Guangzhou. Their breakfast spread is amazing! Wide variety! Will definitely return to stay if back to Dali ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at Dali Liuwenxishe Hotel in Dali Old Town. The location is excellent—just one alley away from the main road, making it easily accessible by car while still enjoying the quiet charm of the old town. The owner/receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. He personally helped carry our luggage up to the first floor, which was much appreciated. They offer 24-hour support and responded quickly to any questions or needs we had throughout our stay. A lovely touch was the complimentary sweet mandarin oranges and snacks available in the hall—perfect for a quick refreshment after a day of exploring. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dali Old Town looking for comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.

The room is very nice, the front desk service attitude is very good, the young ladies are all 1.7 meters tall, very beautiful, although I am a girl, but I also love to look at beautiful women 😍😍😍, in addition, the design style of the lobby bar is really beautiful, the blue gems are hanging on the ceiling, so dreamy, by the way, I ordered a dessert, the taste is unexpectedly delicious, I asked and found out that it is a famous dessert chef in the Dali hotel circle 😍😍😍, the facilities in the room are very complete, the hot water comes out very quickly, it is really comfortable to take a hot bath after a day of playing! I am a person who doesn't like to sleep on pillows, but their pillows are very much to my liking, and the experience is super high. I didn't order breakfast this time, next time I come to Dali, I must experience their breakfast, I believe it will not disappoint you 😁😁😁😁

Tastefully decorated and well appointed with amenities to ensure comfort during the stay. The staff are all really helpful and go out of their way to provide information and assistance along the way. The property is quite centrally located outside of the touristy old towns, which means you don’t have to drag any thing through cobblestone paths to get to your room. I love that it is easily accessible and has small, local restaurants that charged really fair prices. Also I must say the daily breakfast set although unvaried was delicious and healthy.

Facilities: A newly opened hotel, most of the facilities are OK, the shower room is not very good. And the sound insulation is also very poor. On the first night, the upstairs came back late and used water, and the drainage sound was so loud that I thought my water pipe burst. Hygiene: OK, the cleaning is relatively timely. The room was darker when I cleaned it for the first time, and the hair on the floor was not swept away. Service: I made an appointment for free airport pick-up before checking in, and the driver was waiting early. I was directly upgraded to the best room after checking in. A box of flower cakes was given when checking out, but the deposit was returned very slowly, so I went to the store again to find someone on duty to return it manually.

Cangshan Mountain is covered with snow, and Erhai Lake is covered with clouds. In this place of wind, flowers, snow and moon, I found a place for my soul to rest - I saw Dali Meisu again, a place where time freezes and the soul stretches. The surrounding area is also full of wonderful places. Avoiding the crowded main street of the ancient city, the owner of Meisu guided me to walk through the streets: in the vegetable market in the early morning, Bai mothers carried fresh milk fans in a backpack; in the tie-dye workshop deep in the alley, the master used isatis root to dye the ever-changing blue; even occasionally entering a family, I was warmly invited to have lunch together, and the taste of spicy and sour fish is still unforgettable. These unexpected warmth are the most moving scenery in Dali. It is worthy of the name~ The overall Meisu is warm and comfortable, very suitable for couples and families to stay, and the room is clean and hygienic. The overall intelligent guest control is extremely convenient to use and very comfortable. I stayed for a few days and talked a lot with the boss. We had a great experience staying in this luxury homestay. The moment we stepped into the room, it’s very spacious, airy, cleaned, and bright. Our room has a huge window in the front and we really enjoyed looking out to the beautiful sky and clouds. The room is equipped with lots of high technology, like 小愛同學voice control of all the lightings, curtains, and room temperature. It also finds me a lot of my favorite songs. Bathroom has a smart toilet that has so many features. Even all the shower heads are well thought out. What we like the most is the terrace where we can see spectacular sky, Cangshan Mountains and Erhai lake. But what makes this place special is their owner/staffs. They are all very friendly and helpful!! I really think this place deserves a four stars instead of three. I highly recommend this homestay to my friends and family.
