I specifically chose Xunshan B&B for this trip and was absolutely not disappointed. The overall experience was perfect. It's the most comfortable and therapeutic guesthouse I've ever stayed at in this area. The location of the B&B is fantastic, built into the mountainside. The environment is serene and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of the street. As soon as you step outside, you're greeted with lush green mountains and forests. The air is fresh, and in the mornings and evenings, a gentle breeze rustles through the mountains. The sounds of birds and the fragrant flowers create an incredible atmosphere. The overall decor is a warm, natural wood, therapeutic style – simple yet tasteful. The common areas are thoughtfully arranged; the courtyard is neat and elegant, with lounge chairs and green landscaping. Sitting there, sipping tea, enjoying the breeze, daydreaming, and soaking up the sun is incredibly relaxing, perfect for a slow-paced vacation. The room itself was clean and tidy, with impeccable hygiene. Every corner, under the bed, and the bathroom were spotless. The layout is well-designed, spacious, and airy, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The soft furnishings are especially cozy – warm lighting, soft bedding, and high-quality textiles make for a very comfortable stay. The soundproofing is also good, so it's quiet and peaceful at night, allowing for a very restful sleep. All essential amenities are provided; the toiletries are of good quality, there's ample hot water, and stable water pressure. Attention to detail is evident everywhere. The owner and staff are incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and attentive. The service is thoughtful without being intrusive; they are gentle and friendly. Any requests are promptly addressed, and they even offer helpful recommendations for local attractions and eateries without being pushy, making for a very comfortable interaction. Waking up to the mountain breeze and birdsong in the morning, with layers of mountain views outside the window, and enjoying the sunset glow in the evening – it's a perfect escape from the anxiety and superficiality of city life. Here, there's no need to rush your itinerary; just slow down and embrace the slow-paced mountain life. The environment, hygiene, service, and value for money are all top-notch – it's gentle and therapeutic. Whether you're traveling solo, on a romantic getaway, or just need a short break, it's absolutely perfect. I've already quietly saved it and will definitely choose to stay here again next time. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

The hotel's views are absolutely unbeatable. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk and service staff were all attentive and warm, immediately resolving any issues that arose. It's a great hotel and I would recommend it to friends. I do hope the hotel considers two improvements: first, there's no live TV in the room, and most shows on the app require separate payment. Second, the food (breakfast) was rather mediocre.

The room itself was clean and tidy, with comfortable furnishings, and the bedding was so soft I slept incredibly well. Breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel service was thoughtful and attentive. When I checked out, the owner even gave me some homemade plums, which was a nice touch.

The room design is simply elegant, and in the afternoon, I loved sitting by the window with a cup of coffee, enjoying the lush greenery outside – it was so peaceful and perfectly unwound me from my travels. The entire guesthouse was immaculately clean, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The host was thoughtful and kind, and the location is super convenient, being very close to the ancient city's streets and alleys, making it easy to explore and find places to eat. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Dali, highly recommended!

This guesthouse has an excellent location, just a few steps from the sea. The service is incredibly attentive, and the owner is very thoughtful, making sure everything is perfectly arranged. From recommending local restaurants to preparing various items and even helping to arrange carpooling, everything was handled with great care. The courtyard is very peaceful and gets plenty of sun; it's so comfortable just sitting there. Plus, there are electric scooters available right in the courtyard, which we used to explore many places without having to find a rental. The price is also very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay at this guesthouse in Caicun again next time.

Bringing my parents to Dali for a relaxing getaway, and booking Heleju was an absolute gem! This guesthouse is located in Zhonghe Village, offering a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to everything. Just a short walk out the door, and you'll find charming little eateries, so no need to hassle with finding food. The room was so clean, not even a speck of dust in the window sills. The silk duvet was incredibly breathable, and my parents, who are light sleepers, both said they slept wonderfully. During the day, we tried plant printing; we used flowers and plants from Cangshan Mountain to create patterns on cloth. My parents were even more engaged than I was! In the evening, we watched an old movie using the smart projector, and with the whole-house smart system, a simple voice command turned off the lights – super convenient. Overall, the stay was incredibly comfortable and reassuring, and the value for money is outstanding!

This has been the best B&B experience I've had in Yunnan so far! The room looks exactly like the pictures. The B&B is near Caicun village, and we stayed on the 3rd floor, which offered fantastic views. In front, we had the beautiful S-bend of Erhai Lake, and behind, large wisteria bushes and Cangshan Mountain. There's also an observation deck upstairs for even more unobstructed views. The room is spacious, with high-tech amenities and large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can enjoy the scenery just by opening the curtains. I was pleasantly surprised that the water heater provided instant hot water. The courtyard is very clean, and the host even helped us with our luggage. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. (If you're driving, I'd recommend parking outside the village, as the roads inside are very narrow, making it difficult to pass oncoming cars and easy to scrape your vehicle.)

You can watch the sunrise, sunset, and birds from the bed, and the views are absolutely stunning. It's not as noisy as other popular tourist spots. The suite has two bathrooms, and there's also a bathtub with a disposable liner for soaking. The mattress is super comfortable too. The only minor drawback is that the toilet is a bit basic and occasionally has drainage issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The hotel staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, proactively showing us different rooms before we made our choice. The hotel's location is excellent, nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain, offering breathtaking views of Erhai Lake. It's about a 20-minute drive to the lakeside and around 40 minutes to Dali Station, provided there's no traffic. It's also close to Dali Ancient City, with food delivery reaching the mountain in about half an hour. Furthermore, it's very near Cangshan Mountain and Three Pagodas Temple, with the Zhonghe Cableway just 2km away. The hotel's overall environment is lush and green, truly a natural oxygen bar. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Dali.
