MM272455****This guesthouse is located near Dali's popular Xingsheng Bridge, a famous internet-of-things spot. Being on a very high floor, you can lean out and see the panoramic view of Erhai Lake directly from your room.
The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, and the auntie who prepared it was very kind – you could even ask for more if you weren't full.
There's a 24-hour self-service area in the kitchen with complimentary fruits and drinks.
There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby.
Unlike the crowded accommodations in the ancient city, this place offers a much more relaxed environment. It's very pleasant and offers excellent value for money.
The guesthouse itself is quite upscale.
The sea view is absolutely stunning, giving you a wonderful sense of peaceful tranquility.

GGuest UserThe treasure dug by the trip, the mountain view room is absolutely, open the curtains is Cangshan, even the three towers of Chongsheng Temple can be seen. The room is spacious and clean. When I live here, I see that their bedding is changed for each guest and removed the cockroach! ! ! Sleeping is particularly practical. And there are smart, projection configurations, nest on the sofa to see the scenery chasing drama, comfortable to not want to go out.
The location is nothing to say, no matter whether it is a taxi or a bicycle, it is super convenient. After visiting the attractions, blow the hair in the small garden of the hotel, or go to the top floor observation deck to be in a daze. I feel that this is the correct way to open Dali! The service is also very intimate, if you have any questions, you can respond to the staff in time, the experience is directly full, and you will stay here next time!

MM24576****Highly recommended! This B&B was a delightful surprise, full of thoughtful design. As soon as we arrived, the owner and the lovely lady at the front desk greeted us warmly and politely, making us feel right at home, like visiting a friend's place. You can really tell they put their heart into running this place, from the service, to the coffee bar setup at the front desk, the B&B's decor, and even the bedding and amenities in the rooms. Both the rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean.
Three of us girls spontaneously decided to rent a sports car for a self-drive around Erhai Lake and asked the owner for help. To our surprise, the owner was incredibly enthusiastic and trustworthy; he helped us solve the big problem of renting a car. The whole car rental process went very smoothly, and our experience was fantastic – it felt like we were being looked after by a local, haha. This is truly a hidden gem of a B&B, with a gem of an owner. Next time I'm in Dali, I will definitely stay here again.
P.S. The B&B's location is great; it's quiet, and parking is seamless, so no need to worry about finding a spot.

11363128****I made a last-minute decision to travel solo and hastily booked an Airbnb near the airport the night before. It ended up exceeding all my expectations!
First, the Airbnb offers airport pickup service, so I was able to get straight into the car upon landing and head directly to the accommodation. The room decor was cozy and charming, and having a bathtub really helped wash away the fatigue of the journey. The host was incredibly welcoming; when I overslept, they even made sure to call me down for breakfast. They also packed some delicious flower cookies for me to take on my way, setting a perfect mood for the first day of my trip!
The view from the rooftop is also fantastic!

The moment we made the booking, the service desk was extremely responsive, addressing all our queries via WeChat.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by two staff members who waited patiently for us despite the chilly breeze. They efficiently took care of our luggage, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
The rooms offered breathtaking views and a refreshing breeze, further enhanced by the delightful welcome tea break snacks. The rooms were well-equipped with essential amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, including a projector that allowed us to enjoy a fun karaoke session.
To top it all off, the staff even prepared an early breakfast for us, which was truly appreciated.

MM370753****The location is super easy to find, just follow the navigation. There's an underground parking lot, and the staff service was exceptional. They helped with our luggage, were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even recommended local eateries and markets. The room was clean and tidy, with a fantastic view, offering direct views of Erhai Lake and perfect for sunset watching. It was a really great experience! I'd recommend driving if you can, as getting around might be a bit far otherwise. But you can always order takeout!

EEnnaService was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location.
Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

It is also close to the ancient city, Longqi Wharf and other places, and the transportation is convenient. The room is spacious and bright, the sound insulation effect is good, the view is wide, and the room can see the view of the Bohai Corridor. Suitable for daze and taking pictures. The hotel owner and warm and friendly, there is a parking lot shuttle bus pick-up service, providing itinerary planning, attraction recommendations and car rental and other intimate help. The homestay is quiet in the middle of noisy, the surrounding environment is quiet, suitable for like to relax and enjoy nature. There is not a lot of traffic around, and the noise of excessive commercialization is avoided. All in all, it was a great experience.

DDe zhuThe owner messaged me on WeChat the day before check-in, providing detailed information and instructions. We could drive right up to the guesthouse entrance, which was very convenient, offering a peaceful retreat in a lively area. A friendly lady (the owner) warmly greeted us at the door and even helped with our luggage. The room was decorated in a very cozy way, and there was tea available for brewing, making us feel right at home. It's about a ten-minute walk to the South Gate, and you can enjoy views of Cangshan Mountain from the rooftop. Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM and was absolutely delicious. Before we left, we even received flower cakes as a parting gift. This place is truly impeccable!

TT.W.LBooked the family room at courtyard level as I had elderly and wanted an accommodation which is easy to access. I also did not want to be hoisting luggages up and down and over cobbled streets in the old town and somewhere along the city wall so it is easy to start our tour of the sights around Dali in the morning.
Room: Simple efficient clean layout with open concept. Rooms are relatively new. Sink area is located outside the bathroom which is good. The beds are hard in my opinion but elder felt the bed was comfortable. Bottled water was provided everyday (left outside our door). Room Temperature control was ok and the hot water for the shower heated up quick and could maintain at a stable level which is a plus unlike some other hotels in Yunnan.
There is flight of 3-4 steps to room which is manageable for our elder as the room is slightly raised above the courtyard. We had an early check-in as the room was ready. The staff helped us move the luggages to our room. You could also book the entire courtyard for larger groups. The owner is building additional new rooms in the annex but the construction happens during the day and it is not noisy as most guests would be out.
Location:
It is near the South Gate (there is a local market nearby check the maps or ask the owner) and our local driver could stop right outside our accommodation.
We didn’t get breakfast from the bnb as there were food shops offering noodles, congee and fried dumplings around that open early at 7am. You can also make your way to the local market near the gate. You could also go up the South Gate for free to catch the sunrise or sunset view.
Touring around Dali
If you can comms in Chinese, you could message the owner ahead to assist to arrange for a car transfer from Dali Fengyi Airport or the Dali Railway station to the BnB. It cost RMB50 for us from the Railway station to the BnB. You could also arrange with him for a day driver to take you around the sight seeing places around Dali /Erhai Lake, Mt Cang or a driver to send you to Lijiang. We felt was more efficient and relaxing with an elder. It took ~3h drive instead of travelling south to the Dali train station to ride the train to Lijiang and finding a cab from Lijiang railway to the old Lijiang ancient city.
You could also easily catch a Didi or a cab which could be cheaper. A cab/car ride to the 3 Chong Sen Temple pagodas was about 10rmb for 3-4pax which is comparable to waiting for Bus 4 which cost 3rmb per pax.
