GGuest UserThis stay is the best ever. Not only is the guesthouse clean and beautifully located right across from Erhai Lake. But what impressed me most was the hospitality and service—especially from Joy. From picking us up at the train station, to helping us arrange an EV bike rental (even though we eventually decided not to), to personally taking us to dinner and recommending dishes, trusting us with her dog Hamburg, and specially arranging for us to be dropped off at the station when we left even though she was busy with work. Joy made sure everything was well taken care of. She is a true asset to the guesthouse: friendly, sincere in her kind gestures without expecting anything in return, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. What we admire most is that Joy treats her dog as a family member. She is truly a person filled with loving kindness and will always be blessed for this. The part we appreciated most was getting to spend quality time with her dog, Hamburg, who brought us so much happiness and filled our days with joy. Hamburg is a loving dog with a heart of gold. Anyone especially dog lovers would truly fall in love with him. Together, Joy and Hamburg make the best combination. They brought smiles and joy to us. They are the real assets of the place. We hope they will be greatly rewarded. Thank you, Joy, for giving us the best souvenir in China—Hamburg's most loved toy. This is the best gift ever! And thank you for keeping in touch with us whenever you can, including sharing updates on Hamburg. It means a lot to us.😊 Great hospitality was also shown by others on the team. Miki served us breakfast every morning with a smile and was always at the reception keeping Hamburg company. She not only looks after him but also make sure he is in good hands, safe and happily running about. Miki carried Hamburg to bid us farewell. She also updated us on Hamburg's progress daily, which we greatly appreciated. knowing that he is happy made us happy.👍 Most importantly, the owner, Krystina, made us feel at home and welcomed. She has a warm personality, is friendly, and treats her staff like family. She is also in the midst of learning English for self-improvement. She has the willingness to learn and the kind of down-to-earth attitude that most hotel owners don't. We felt comfortable being with her, and she even hosted a farewell dinner for us. What we love most is that she is an animal lover and even included Hamburg in the dinner. She has a heart full of compassion. We had a great time together, and the night ended with smiles and laughter. We started as strangers but ended as friends.🙂 We were reluctant to leave after three nights, and if given the chance, we would love to extend our stay to a week in the future. This place is truly a gem, thanks to the wonderful management and the people behind it. We will surely recommend friends to your guesthouse—it is a gem hidden in Dali. GGuest UserI had a minor issue with my booked room, but the owner promptly switched me to another, which I appreciated. The guesthouse is located just outside the ancient city, near Sanyue Street, making parking very convenient. I highly recommend it. The breakfast was a standout – served at a neighboring hotel, which I was told also belongs to the owner, it was definitely on par with a four-star hotel breakfast. The owner also gave great recommendations for local restaurants, which was a thoughtful touch.

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable. I took a taxi to the hotel but the driver dropped me off under a big tree and I couldn't find the way. Fortunately, the boss came to pick me up. The bosses were super nice. The boss seemed to be a retired soldier, so I felt very safe. Hehe! As soon as I entered the door, I was amazed by the small courtyard! The room is beautiful and clean, and I am very satisfied overall! ! Dali, a place full of redemption! The scenery is beautiful, the food, accommodation and people you meet are all very comfortable. It is a city you will fall in love with over and over again! Thank you for your care, I will come to your house next time I come to Dali and wish you a prosperous business.

EEDWARD LIM L HQianyu Seaview Resort is located on the 19th floor of Building B of Erhai Tianyu International Apartment, featuring six rooms named after natural elements: 'Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon, Cloud, and Dew'. I stayed in the 'Cloud' room, which offered a 180-degree view of Erhai Lake from its balcony. Only the 'Flower' and 'Moon' rooms boast a 270-degree panoramic view, as one side of their balconies is unobstructed by walls. For instance, the 'Moon' room, as shown in the picture, also provides a glimpse of the Xingsheng Bridge to the left. Qianyu provides complimentary fruits and beverages, and the breakfast spread is generous. There are also many restaurants nearby. The resort is close to Erhai Park, making it convenient for a morning stroll to Ernan for photos. Since it doesn't face Erdong, you can only capture a corner of the morning glow and the glistening lake.

WWudiniangaozaiThis guesthouse was one of the accommodations I was most looking forward to during my trip to Dali, and I'm so glad it met my expectations! I didn't do much research before booking; I just stumbled upon a recommendation on a social media platform, and the view looked so amazing that I booked it right away. First, let's talk about the location. Since I didn't read up much beforehand, I only realized upon arrival that there are very few dining options nearby – almost no restaurants at all. Luckily, we had rented a car, which made things a bit easier. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and provides excellent service, helping with luggage and giving great recommendations. The resident cat, Saipan, is a bit aloof but very good-tempered; you can pet him all you want. It's a shame I only stayed for a short time. The view from this room type is fantastic, and in the evening, with the lights on, it feels so warm and cozy. I hope to come back and stay for a few days next time when I'm not in a hurry. Oh, and the room is also super photogenic!

However, the location was not very convenient as it was a bit far from shops, with only one small convenience store nearby. The host was very helpful, responded promptly to our messages, and kindly picked us up from the train station, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

GGuest UserI've lost count of how many times I've stayed at Meishan Inn. It's truly my favorite inn in Dali Ancient City! The location is superb, extremely close to all the fun spots around Renmin Road and the ancient city, yet it's incredibly quiet at night, not noisy at all. The owner's service is incredibly thoughtful and meticulous; any questions or requests are handled perfectly. The inn itself is beautifully decorated, making it a perfect place to unwind and relax. I could easily spend an entire afternoon doing nothing but sitting in the courtyard. I genuinely recommend everyone to stay here!

GGuest UserThis place truly made me feel at home. I arrived at the hotel starving after my business trip, heading straight into a solo vacation. The owner's father personally picked me up from the airport and even made me a warm bowl of noodles. The rest of my stay was wonderful. The room had an unbeatable location; I could see Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain the moment I woke up, and enjoyed both sunrise and sunset, plus the evening 'fish lanterns'. Reading, sunbathing, and feeling the breeze from Erhai Lake on the balcony – it was incredibly relaxing. The only downside was that the room was so comfortable, I barely wanted to leave to explore! The owner, knowing I was tired, even brought my takeout right to my room. I wish all hard-working people like them continued success!

GGuest UserThis inn gets a perfect score! The facilities are both modern and inviting, and the central air conditioning ensured a supremely comfortable stay. Rooms were spacious with expansive views, and the setting was private and tranquil. The courtyard design was exquisite, and the evening lighting was incredibly romantic. Service was incredibly attentive; from check-in to check-out, the staff were always smiling and ready to assist. They even helped us arrange transportation and book tickets. Cleanliness was exceptional; towels and bath towels were replaced daily, and everything was thoroughly sanitized, making our stay completely worry-free and reassuring. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dali!
