Hotels in Shuanglang Scenic Area, Dali City

Seriously, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Dali, no exaggeration. It's a stand-alone courtyard, and the moment you step in, you feel like you're on vacation. The room was clean and tidy, and I could see Erhai Lake right outside my window. The public areas are also incredibly photogenic; that swing set was perfect for some 'life-defining' photos. My WeChat Moments exploded with likes, thanks to the stunning window views – every shot looked amazing. Plus, the weather was fantastic, clear blue skies and white clouds. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and enjoying it with the sea breeze was just delightful. To top it all off, I even saw fireworks nearby in the evening! A full day of great weather, I was so lucky. Breakfast was also plentiful, and the staff were really enthusiastic. The overall experience was truly excellent!

The owner was really welcoming and enthusiastic. When I arrived, they helped me with my luggage and answered all my questions patiently. When I needed a ride to Lijiang, I asked the owner, and they helped arrange a car based on my needs. In the morning, they'd even message me to check if I was ready and if it was time to leave. When we checked out, they waited for us at the door, helped carry our luggage, and even took us to where we needed to catch our ride. The experience was excellent.

The room design is really stylish, minimalist yet grand, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning. The two guys at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. It's really convenient to get to the ancient town; the front desk staff even offer rides to the entrance. The parking lot is right next to the B&B. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit, it's totally worth it.

This is the only guesthouse I've ever actively reviewed out of dozens of cities I've visited! They reserved a parking spot for me, helped with my luggage, and even provided a welcome fruit platter. They even have late-night desserts! Breakfast is quite substantial and available from 8-10 am. The street view is great, no need to say more. The soundproofing is genuinely, really good. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs, but if that still doesn't work, I suggest you get your insomnia treated! It's so much better than guesthouses in Lijiang and other places in Dali, okay? Plus, there's free coffee. I really dislike recently renovated places from the last year or two because of the severe formaldehyde, but this place is just right. They even gave me a pack of tea after check-out. These small details show how much effort the owner puts in... I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a five-minute electric scooter ride from Shuanglang Ancient Town, making getting around super convenient. Situated right on the Erhai Lake, my room offered direct views of the beautiful lake, and I enjoyed stunning sunset views in the afternoon. The room itself was also great for photos, very Instagrammable! Upon arrival, staff helped with my luggage, and I was offered afternoon tea and fruit. They even provided recommendations for local food and tourist attractions, and there's a free electric scooter rental service. The front desk and management staff were incredibly friendly. The room facilities were complete, and the hygiene was excellent, everything was clean and tidy. The room featured floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing Erhai Lake, and plenty of disposable amenities were provided. The breakfast spread was extensive, including authentic Yunnan rice noodles, eggs, sweet potatoes, and many other options.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The location is fantastic, and the sea view is stunning – so relaxing to sit out on the balcony. It’s definitely great value for money. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly kind and even gave us complimentary fruit and cake upon check-in! Ordering takeout was super convenient, and the breakfast was delicious. Getting a taxi nearby was easy, as the road is right outside. The soundproofing was excellent, making for a very quiet night's sleep.

Absolutely amazing! My best friend and I were celebrating our birthdays and after looking at so many places, we finally chose Sanse Yunhe (Three-Color Cloud River) ~ and the name itself is so poetic and romantic! 🥰 The butler contacted me on WeChat the day before check-in, sent directions, and even came out to help us with our luggage before we arrived. The service was incredibly detailed, including afternoon tea after we settled in and hot milk before bed. The best part, though, was how photogenic the public areas of the guesthouse are. The photography service they partnered with delivered our photos within half an hour on my birthday, which I was incredibly happy with. Highly recommend!

Traveling with kids, we stayed at a lovely guesthouse run by locals. It was very affordable and parking was super convenient. The g guesthouse's location was fantastic, right by Erhai Lake, near Nanzhao Style Island. It was about a five or six-minute walk to the lively Haijie (Sea Street) and also very close to Shuanglang Ancient Town's main street. There's a big terrace below the guesthouse's courtyard, and sitting there enjoying the sea breeze was incredibly relaxing, and it was perfect for photos too! We really wanted to stay another night, but our itinerary was a bit tight this trip. Hopefully, we can come back and stay longer on our next vacation!

The owner was incredibly welcoming. They contacted me the day before to send the hotel's location and even helped me with my luggage. This B&B is fantastic; the rooms are spacious with a perfect 180-degree sea view. The room facilities are also very modern, featuring a 'Little Du' smart assistant, a projector, and a Bluetooth speaker. The most pleasant surprise was the bedside table, which has wireless charging – it's super convenient to just place your phone on it to charge. The B&B also has an elevator, which was great for us on the third floor, especially for older guests and handling luggage. The afternoon tea and breakfast were also quite substantial. Very satisfied!

Three of us stayed in three rooms, and this was our second time here. It still feels very clean and nice. For breakfast, I actually think it's better to eat out. This guesthouse in Haidong is perfect – it's high up, quiet, with unobstructed and amazing sea views. A special shout-out to the Bai couple's restaurant behind the guesthouse; it's 100 times better than anything in the old town, great value for money, and they have super friendly cats you can pet! Just keep in mind that the guesthouse is in a village, so the surrounding environment and facilities aren't quite as developed.
