Holiday Inn & Suites MAKATI by IHG
"There was a strong smell from the hallway. And we can smell it all all way in the room, they moved us on a different floor but we can still smell it although is not as strong as the first room. It smells like paint or almost like gasoline but according to them they are not sure what or where is the smell coming from isn’t it that weird? The lady apologized when we checked out but that is not the point. If that chemical caused a major health problem, can a sincere or 100 x sorry fix or cure it? Safety first is very important, having visible safety measures and following protocols can reduce legal and financial risks because neglecting customer safety can lead to massive compensation payouts and to also protect your reputation. Our first night Eugene was very helpful to bring our grab food to our room but the next day when we ask front desk if they can bring the food we order from outside, someone from the front desk said that we need to need to get it ourselves😁. But when we mentioned that Eugene was able to help us the other day and had no problem with it that is when he asked someone to bring the food. I am not sure if they are not allowed to do that and we got Eugene in trouble. But that is how you stand out among other businesses, is you do things above and beyond and you create a memorable and positive experience. The place is clean and spacious the location is great. The hotel buffet breakfast, I think they can do better."
Discovery Primea, Manila
"An excellent hotel – truly a five-star experience in the best old-school way. The room was of an exceptionally high standard, and the staff were extremely professional and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!"
Citadines Benavidez Makati
"The location is a BIG Plus that motivated us to stay there. However, what made it even better was the quality of staff service. It starts when you check-in with the Front Desk, then the bellhop who brought our bags to the room. Thereafter, the next morning it's the cleaning room service staff and the Catalogue's serving staff who bring you the breakfast (just the way you like it!) & the coffee. All of them : always with a smile. These people all wear Hospitality on their shirt sleeves. Definitely returning here for next stay"
Somerset Valero Makati
"I joined the ayala marathon at ayala triangle makati. And this is the perfect hotel!!!"

"Location is good but the hotel is aged. Unpleasant smell from humidity."
Oakwood Makati Avenue
"Advantages if you are a night life person as located in entertainment area, dis-advantages GRAB will drop you at the main road of IM Hotel instead turn in the small street og Oakwood Hotel, Rooms were Great facilities however free drinking water u need to go to Lift area to get it, as no bottle water in room provided, great room is a plus and roof top Bar view as well, 6.30 am went for BF only 5 guest and main dish variety selection were good as u are having Lunch menu however all were cold no one checking and service staff were gathering talking if you stay in other Oakwood property this kind of situation will never happens, Bakery corner very poor selection, I would said FNB no supervision, hope there will be better improvements after reading feedback as to built up Oakwood reputations spent so many years and efforts."
