Upon our arrival, he even met us with an umbrella and helped carry our luggage. The accommodations featured smart toilets, and the courtyard boasted a lovely ambiance—a quiet oasis amidst the bustle. The rooftop offered stunning views, perfect for taking photos. He also offered valuable dining tips for the ancient city and, to our surprise, presented us with a thoughtful souvenir upon check-out. We're so grateful for this warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home in an unfamiliar city. 👍👍👍👍👍"

"This charming B&B is run by locals and is set in a beautiful, traditional Bai ethnic house. Its location is superb, tucked away in an alley directly opposite the South Gate of the Ancient City. However, it can be a bit tricky to locate initially. The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly; he even guided us to the correct address over the phone and helped us arrange parking. As a thoughtful gesture, he gave us a box of local flower cakes when we checked out. Stepping out of the B&B, you're immediately on a lively street packed with restaurants and shops, making everything incredibly convenient."

"The guesthouse is conveniently located near Dali Old Town's South Gate, just a 10-minute walk directly into the Old Town. This makes exploring popular spots like Renmin Road and Foreigner Street incredibly easy. Free parking is available right at the entrance, making it ideal for those traveling by car. You'll also find a variety of distinctive restaurants and convenience stores nearby, ensuring all your dining and daily needs are met. It's a private, stand-alone courtyard house, beautifully surrounded by flowers and succulents, and even features a lounge chair facing Erhai Lake – truly embodying that soothing Dali charm. I must give full marks to the mattress and pillows! They had just the right firmness and provided excellent support for my back and neck. I stayed for three nights and enjoyed perfect sleep every single night. Considering the free parking, the easy walking access to the Old Town, the tranquil courtyard, and the thoughtful service, it was a truly satisfying trip."

"The room was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. It was a sudden drop in temperature in Dali, and the air conditioning was very effective and almost noiseless. The housekeeper was also very enthusiastic. He carried the luggage, delivered breakfast, and recommended a great local restaurant~ The B&B is not big, there is almost no yard, it is surrounded by an open space, there is no landscape, it is a 5-minute walk to the beach, very close to Longkan Pier, there are many restaurants around, the price is not expensive ~ It is not cost-effective to stay here during the Spring Festival, but it is generally satisfactory"

"the hotel is beautiful both in the common areas and in the room itself. the room is spacious and the toilet is huge. we got an upgrade during our stay. hotel has an life so no worries about handling your luggage. there are a lot of food options nearby and it is just off the street from the old town. about 15min walk will get you to the main old town spot. the breakfast was delicious. a selection of cooked food and you can order noodles at the main desk. simple afternoon tea with a light snack. we did not get to use the hanfu experience but it is a nice bonus."
