"This was my second time here, and from the moment I landed and found the staff, I didn't have to handle my luggage at all, even for my departure – it was absolutely fantastic. However, there were some things I wasn't happy with. On the first day, they gave me a room at the very end of the hall, and it had a strange smell. I couldn't accept it, especially since I paid quite a bit for a beach view room. After a long discussion, they could only offer a room with a better view for the next day. Because of the smell, I had to downgrade to a clean transitional room, but the hotel refused to refund the price difference. Ultimately, Trip.com covered the difference, which just goes to show how reliable Trip.com is and how proactively they communicate with hotels, even if the final outcome wasn't perfect. The next day, the view was decent. If you're choosing a beach room, rooms 71-75 have better views, while 77 is an end room next to staff quarters and is very, very poor. As for breakfast, it's significantly worse than when I visited in 2023. There's very little variety, just enough to fill you up, and surprisingly, no pineapple or banana juice. Next time I go to Boracay, I'll definitely hesitate to choose this place again because of the end-room issue. Photo 1 is the excellent pickup service, Photo 2 is the transitional garden-view room. Photo 3 is the balcony view from the end room, Photo 4 is the room I switched to on the second day."

They have a dive company as well who are absolutely lovely (rowell&harry&arjay) my boyfriend did his open water dive for cheap in just 2 days with PADI whilst o tagged along to do fun dives ! The hotel was clean and the service was good they had a restaurant there which was cheap and had plenty of options. The laundry service was perfect we paid 600 pesos for 4 kilos of washing and it was washed/dried and folded it within a few hours!!"

"Cons: - Upon check-in, the room smells like bleach and the flooring is very sticky, walls are moldy and towels also smell musty - Room cleaning service is only provided upon request, and I had to request for fresh towels at the reception everyday - Wifi connection cuts off after certain timing which is very inconvenient for foreign tourists with limited mobile data - Spotted a cockroach crawling out from the shower drain for two days (cockroaches were also seen in my friend's room!) - Mattress was hard and not supportive, I could actually feel the springs pressing against my back while lying down - Hotel breakfast was pathetic with only 4 options on the menu (either white rice or toast) and they took more than 20 mins to serve the food when the restaurant was not even crowded Pros: - Walking distance to White Beach and D'Mall - Two 7 -Eleven stores near the hotel - Every trike driver knows the hotel location - Air-conditioning and water heater works well - Fresh towels were sent to our room within 5 mins after request While I understand that I cannot expect luxury from a hotel at this price point, I do expect a clean and hygienic room. At the very least, the hotel should maintain proper cleanliness and carry out regular pest control. Seeing cockroaches in the rooms was unacceptable and made the stay very unpleasant!"

"The District was a blissful oasis of relaxation right in the hubbub of Station 2. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delightful, the room was lovely, and it was a treat to have lounging chairs on the beach right in front of the hotel. I also loved the swimming pool and smaller pool with benches and made use of them every day. The staff went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed and arranged a transfer back to the mainland (with The District crew) taking you from door to airport. I'll definitely come back!"

From Caticlan Airport, it’s a short tricycle ride to the jetty port, followed by a 10–15 minute boat trip to Boracay. From Kalibo, expect a 1.5–2 hour van or bus ride to Caticlan before taking the boat.
